Such a fun children's book! I enjoyed the bright cheery pages and the story of friends having fun in the summer. I can't wait to read this to my toddler!

This fun book should keep toddlers entertained, and very busy, as they help blow a kite into the air, launch a boat, and shake the sand off. The author's colorful pictures are a treat. This is an a great book for kids who like to get involved with their reading.

What an absolutely adorable book! The interactivity was a fun element that had my children giggling and had me anticipating what each new page would bring. The illustrations were sweet and brightly colored. I would definitely buy this for an of my friends with younger children.

Wow! This was so much fun for my 5 year old to tilt the book back and forth and make all the animals move. She had so much fun, and she loved all the animals and the beach setting!

Summer fun is another word for Summer adventure. Fox and his friends, Mouse and Owl go to the beach to fly Fox's kite. But they are having trouble. That is where you come in as a reader to help them. Each page is a problem and your engagement to help Fox and his friends.

What a great book to encourage young readers to engage and interact with books. Children will love the interactive component of this story as they join Racoon, Mouse, Owl, and Fox in their adventures. Children will learn directional words as this book will need to be turned in various directions to assist in the adventures.

This is a super fun, interactive book for little kids. I imagine reading this book physically and getting to play with it with your kid would be super fun, and kids will love how the book talks to them. Would definitely buy this in hard copy!

I don't think I've seen one of these 'interactive' narratives pitched so young before. This is a story of some animal friends having a whale of a time (whale not included) at the seaside, and to get the story on the right path we have to follow the narrator's instructions, puffing at it, tilting the book this way and that, and generally pretending we have authorship over what's on the following page. The ones I've seen coerce us to do the right thing for the sake of the plot, and while this one does that too it almost feels it is still for the 'here is a book, this is what it does, now just get used to holding it and turning the pages over' age range. Also suggesting that is an art style that is really quite unsophisticated, but if any entity gets young readers interested in engaging with books it's a hit for me, whatever the star rating I end up forced to give it.

Summer fun is a book you can do things like flying a kite and playing with boats in water. Just by moving your book around. The illustrations are beautiful.

Interactive picture books are one of my FAVORITE types of books! This one is perfect for a summer themed story time. I especially love that the bubbles that the reader blows at the end of the book are continued onto the endpages/back cover. Lovely!

If you're looking for something different and unique- this book is a MUST HAVE. It combines an exciting beachy summer day with fine motor skill interactive play to enhance the overall experience- which it absolutely did.
Littles will learn sights, sounds, animals, directions (Left/Right) and how those actions correspond to waves, wind and other fun sandy summer activities. Through positive encouragement and praise, your kiddo will be able to help his animal friends sail, build a sand castle, splash in the water and blow bubbles (probably a cool addition would be to have a bottle of bubbles to play with after).

Recommended for ages 3+, a book you should ONE HUNDRED PERCENT stock for your personal library or classroom!
Will be recommending to friends/family and gift for showers- I had a lot of fun with this and I'm WAY over the recommended age limit :-)

A very fun interactive book about Mouse, Raccoon and Owl playing at the beach. I loved how the book asked the reader to tilt the book left and right and to shake the book to make the waves come and go. It also asked to blow at the book to make the kite fly and to make bubbles. A child under 3 would have so much fun with this book!! The illustrations were well done. Very bright colors.

What a fun interactive read! Set at the beach, it encourages kids to know things about the beach, their directions, and makes reading so fun!

What a fun interactive book!!!! My son LOVED it! He loved blowing the bubbles and I think we went back a few times to reread that part. This book being interactive kept him involved in the reading process throughout.

Personally, I also loved this book. It’s such a unique concept to me and I really enjoyed how it kept him entertained.
