Initially I was looking forward to this story. I thought it would be a nice romance that dealt with a MFM relationship. I quickly realized that the author relied heavily on topics like murder and assault as plot devices and that the romance was lacking. I was really over it by the time one of the men killed the child of another character. I would not recommend this book under any circumstance.

ARC received for review

Well that was interesting. I was expecting the MFM, but not the MM action thrown in there too. Lots of angst all over the place.

Couldn’t get into the side plots of the characters outside of their building relationship. This books is spicy but the overall story was lacking

Dark, angsty motorcycle club MMF story. This was the first I've read of Sam Crescent novels - I was intrigued by the description of John wanting his best friend Gunner to impregnate his wife, but also the underlying attraction between the two men. One comment I would make is that there was no hint of the violence that's in the story. I wasn't put off by it, but it definitely took me by surprise and a few of the reviews I read after the fact were critical of it. It wouldn't have been a deterrent for me, but some advance warning would be helpful for some readers for whom, based on some of the reviews I read were not happy about it. All in all a good read and I would be willing to read more from this author.

Yikes! This story was a lot. The wife who doesn't realize having unprotected sex with her husband's best friend might get her pregnant (kind of the point, as the husband wants), and the murders that no one seems to care about make this one a difficult read. I can suspend disbelief for a story, but jeez.

Well….. I honestly don’t know where to start, this book was unexpectedly AMAZING! The first page starts rough and my thoughts were, this book is not for me, but of course giving any author the benefit I always try and get through at least three chapters before I bail. OH BOY, this was a little bit of a kinda crude, amazingly sexy, like I mean toe curling hot, funny, sweet, endearing and just addictive. MC books usually are not my style but this book throws so many different worlds together and it works beautifully. I am definitely wowed by the thrilling writing of the author and will be looking for more.. Plan to sit back and have your socks knocked off.

Menage romance..Gunnar has a thing for his best friend's wife who is aware of Gunnar's feelings. When John discovers that he is sterile, he puts plans in motion to bring Gunnar into their marriage as a third and manipulates Scarlet so that she accepts this new relationship and plays on Johns' feelings for Scarlet so that he will join them in the bedroom and give Scarlet the one thing he can't, a baby. This is a bit twisted, super hot and they all have feelings for one another but I felt like the guys especially John manipulated Scarlet and so it was kind of unfair to her.

This was an easy MC read. A great storyline with some hot MFM Scenes and a dash of action kept things interesting. I loved the adorable epilogue and the sense of family in the club.

Basically just a biker gang and a threesome . If you’re into this you’ll like it if not then no .I was very disappointed with this book just because I expected something more but didn’t get anything good out of it.

This is a fast-paced menage MC read. Gunner is the club President and the only person he trusts is John even though he also wants his wife, Scarlett. John cannot give his wife the baby she wants so if he can’t be the father of her child, he wants Gunner to be. They don’t share their plan with Scarlett, what will happen when she discovers the truth. Also, the ones that Gunner love are in danger from another MC can he keep them safe? Entertaining read with lots of violence, be prepared. Sizzling chemistry and an entertaining story. I liked it.

Sometimes you are not sure how a book is going to be when you start it. The idea that John and Gunner would hatch a plan for Gunner to get John’s wife, Scarlett, pregnant has disaster written all over it. Throw in sexual tension between the two men and the potential for problems rises.

Scarlett is the ideal woman-loving and nurturing. She may want a baby but she would never give up John for one. Gunner has loved Scarlett for a long time but would never have made a move on her if John hadn’t set it up.

Lots of sexy time and danger in this story

Unfortunately, I didn't quite understand the scope of the synopsis and I didn't realize that one of the main characters was a criminal (a dealer and murderer who presides over a criminal gang of bikers and a club where they are based). Not my type at all.

However, I decided to review the book, staying true to the purpose of NetGalley.

John can't give his wife - Scarlett - the child she so desperately wants. But his best friend Gunner can and, wanting to spare his wife painful medical interventions, sees a solution, having his friend impregnate his wife.

Seeing a chance to be with Scarlett, Gunner agrees, but only if they don't tell her their reasons.

And the three characters, each with their stated or omitted motives, give rise to their desires. But giving wings to sexual tension and living as a threesome are very different things.

The positive point of the book is the unquestionable mastery with which the author builds and unfolds the sexual tension between the characters.

But clearly, this is the main point of the book because the rest is quite common with inconsistent characters and plot.

But as far as eroticism goes, it's definitely a 5 star.

Thank you to the publisher and to Netgalley for this book to review.

From literally the first sentence I wanted to stop reading it and only carried on due to the Polyamours aspect of the book. Overall the book is boring with characters who are bland and forgettable.

***Spoilers of the book are below so be warned***

The first sentence calls a woman a slut and reinforces this by calling the girl a whore in the next sentence. Is the girl on her knees doing something sexual? Yes but it just wasn't necessary. Even though I found this uncomfortable to read, I carried on thinking that it would be all... It was not.

The MC (Gunner) later had some internal thoughts about his two sons (18 and 16) and how he was proud of them for having sex with people and are not into 'hearts and flowers' which instantly made me groan. I am tired of toxic masculinity. So tired.

A few pages later, Gunner is talking to someone (either John or Kent, truly cannot remember or care) and says that the girl from the first page is "nothing more than a c*m bucket" and thinks of her as a 'young b*tch'. He also constantly calls his ex-wife a bitch all the time.

Said ex-wife is a fatphobic slutshamer to the main girl (Scarlett) in this and is honestly just an unnecessary piece of work who resorts to blackmailing Gunner.

The part where Gunner will get Scarlet pregnant? She is not in on that plan. She just knows that she is allowed to have sex with Gunner and then 'romance' blooms.

All Scarlett did was look after kids (with her job and Gunner's two lads), cook/bake and clean, which is fine but that was her entire personality and early on she mentions that when Gunner settles down, it will be with someone who will cook/clean for him because Gunner and his teens are too freaking lazy to cook themself a meal.

The smut wasn't bad, the rest of the book was so boring that I DNf'ed it at 63%

Not too bad. Really explicit spicy scenes, MMF by the end of the book. Motorcycle Club/gang. Could have expanded on characters more. They had a lot of potential for depth.
Some of the book was repetitive.
Multiple POV’s but it was somewhat difficult to tell which pov I was reading at certain parts. It switched around more that I would think and it wasn’t clear.

I’m still relatively new and feeling my way around MC romance, but I saw this cover while browsing and wanted to know more.

Gunner and John are not good boy heroes. As different as they outwardly appear—MC prez and accountant— their friendship, trust, and love surpasses all their differences.

Scarlett, John’s wife, appears to be quiet spoken and shy, but we really see the glowing love for the world around her throughout her interactions with Gunner’s two teenage sons.

When John can’t give her the one thing she wants—children— he devises a plan to solve the problem, and it doesn’t take too much work to convince Gunner to join the plan. The problem? They don’t tell Scarlett.

I mostly enjoyed this book, and I won’t provide any spoilers, but I didn’t think Scarlett’s reaction and response to discovering their plan…felt right? She was way too perceptive.

This is the first time I have read this author and I am not sure if I will again. And with that being said this is a hard book for me to review. I did enjoy parts of it. The sex was hot but other than that the story was rough. I liked all the Main characters but they were not realistic at all. It when from sexy threesome to murder and cruelty.

I really wanted to love this book. It had all the catnip I wanted, including being a MMF. Usually, I can over look the roughness of the MC world but I had a major issue with the fat-shaming that was done to the heroine by other characters.

A strong cross between a biker MC and MFM romance.

The only problem is that the MC side of this story is slightly formulaic and definitely is used as a backstory to prop up the rest of the book. The upside is that the romance between Gunner, Scarlett and John is strong and well written which redeems this book somewhat.

This was a quick read. The premise was a little gross though. The heroine didn't come across as very smart and the heroes came across as misogynistic idiots.
