This is the 3rd book in the Blue Moon Bay series— in this book we follow Whitney and Trent. I found Whitney to be really irritating throughout the book, but found Trent to be quite enjoyable. Whitney made a lot of decisions that I didn’t agree with, but in the end she turned it around. She is lucky to have such a strong group of friends in her life.

This is the 3rd book in the Blue Moon Bay trilogy, though each is a standalone book. I have read the other 2, and this was my least favorite of the 3 - it is not really a book about finding love (like the others were), the 2 main characters are already engaged and have been together for 7 years. Mostly, this is a book about Whitney, and if she can find the courage to face the hard things in her life and share the burden with her fiancé. Most of the book is Whitney working too much, ignoring her health, and spiraling out of control. I liked Trent so much, but I really didn’t care for Whitney, and it was not enjoyable to me to watch her struggle the entire book. I love Jennifer Snow’s other books, this one just wasn’t for me.
I could not get enough of this book. I loved the supportive nature of Trent as he navigates his ever-changing and dynamic relationship with his fiance Whitney. Whitney is struggling a lot internally and has to figure out how to go about revealing that to those who love and support her. Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for a copy of this book for an honest review.
This is part 3 of a series but can be read as a stand-alone. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to go read the first two! I enjoyed reading about Whitney and Trent’s journey. It was definitely an emotional ride. Would highly recommend!
A Lot Like Forever by Jennifer Snow is such an incredible book. I absolutely loved it!
To call Whitney Carlisle an overachiever would be an understatement. This woman won’t let anything, or anyone hold her back. She’s at the top of her game at work arriving before everyone else and leaving after everyone else. She works for the mayor and feels like she needs to constantly prove her worth even though she’s been there for some time.
Her overworking and lack of sleep is causing her health problem symptoms that she just ignores, she has a job to do and just can’t be bothered. Well, we all know what happens when you ignore your health as it eventually catches up to her.
Whitney has the most amazing fiancée, Trent. In his eyes she can do no wrong. If you’re looking for a guy this is the kind you want. Knowing Whiteny so well he can see that she is keeping a secret from him, but he just has no idea how big it is or the affects it will have on their relationship.
Why is it we always hurt the ones we love the most? This is exactly what happens when Whitney breaks up with Trent think he’ll be better off without her. After the breakup she finds out something totally unexpected about Trent as well. Though broken up they both still love each other deeply. Will they be able to work through the turmoil and find peace, harmony and complete trust in each other?
Such an emotional book, I wanted to give Whiteny advice several times while reading this.
I hope there are going to be more books in this series. I’ll be first in line to read them.

A Lot Like Forever is the third book in this series by Jennifer Snow. I've read all of them so far, and this was probably my least favorite. This is the story of Trent and Whitney. They are an engaged couple with really bad communication and trust issues, which of course is detrimental to their relationship. The book seemed to repetitive to me, which made it longer than necessary and harder to get through. I still enjoyed the story overall and the happy ending. I look forward to reading the next installment of this series.
A Lot Like Forever by Jennifer Snow had some interesting story elements. Whitney and Trent were paired well, and their connecting story had some surprise moments. A story that had some plus moments to keep the pages turning.

I loved reading this one. I just love this kind of books.
4 stars read for me. I love this author snd her writing style.
Thanks to netgally for this arc.
Whitney is the darling. Everyone loves her and she’s got everything. But does she? Her mother is struggling with dementia and she is hiding something from everyone. She doesn’t want people to see her weaknesses. But this is big. Trent has found the love of his life in Whitney. He put the ring on it but Whitney won’t commit. Does she not love him? What is he to do? Everyone senses something isn’t right. Can Whitney deal with her secret and realize she isn’t letting everyone down? They just love her and want her to be in their lives.
This was a good story but full of secrets and miscommunication. All in all, it was a light beach read.

This is book 3 in the Blue Moon Bay series, and I am unfortunately disappointed in this one compared to the others. I genuinely really enjoyed the first two, but this one was really frustrating to read. Whitney was so stubborn and Trent was such a pushover at times, it made it so I really wished I could have just shoved the two of them in a room together and said JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER, because I swear, if they had just had an honest conversation then everything would have been solved. For a couple that has been engaged as long as they both had, they were incredibly bad at communication. The other two books in this series do a great job at showing relationships grow, turning possible negative relationship behavior into positive behavior, and a lot of this relationship just felt toxic - for both of them. I could tell they loved each other, and I understood where each person was coming from, but in my mind had they just talked so much would have been solved. Logically I know that this would not have made for as compelling of a novel, so this means this is also not my cup of tea in terms of novel, but it is what it is. I will continue to read books in this series and books by Jennifer, because I overall really enjoy her writing, this one was just not my jam.
A Lot Like Forever is the first book of Jennifer Snow that I have read. Unfortunately I struggled to finish it as it just fell flat for me. I could not connect with the main character Whitney at all and her lies and lack of accountability were annoying. That being said, I did like her fiancé, Trent. He was sweet, compassionate and very understanding.
I have to say I am disappointed that I didn’t enjoy this book as I’ve read so many positive reviews about Jennifer Snow books. One reason I might not have enjoyed it as much is because I haven’t read the first two books in the series. As A Lot Like Forever was the third book, I may have missed out on a lot of pertinent information that would have helped me to appreciate the characters and story.. So perhaps I will try another Jennifer Snow book and assume that A Lot Like Forever was a one off, boring book and that was just not for me.

This is a sweet romance story.
Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with a digital copy. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I really enjoyed this story! I love Trent and how he just absolutely adored Whitney and would move mountains to make her happy. Whitney was a force to be reckoned with especially when it came to work. The girl loved her job just as much as she loved Trent. I understand why she kept her "secret" but at the same time wish she would have communicated sooner. I love how her friends were by her side and helped her through everything and so happy that Whitney and Trent got there happy ending. This can be read as a stand-alone and definitely recommend picking it up.
I really enjoyed the first two books in the Blue Moon Bay series by Jennifer Snow. This is book three, though it can easily be read as a standalone if you want to jump in with this book. This book has probably been my least favorite of the series, however. There was so much great potential for an excellent story, but I think there was some things that got lost in translation. The format of this book is a then/now format and it flipped back and forth each chapter. That got old and I wasn't a fan of the layout. I also think there were some communication issues between the characters that were annoying as the reader. All of this being said, I do hope there are more stories to come in this series. I just love the small town setting of these books!
From the outside looking in Whitney appears to be living the life she has always wanted but appearances can be deceiving. Personally and professionally she is struggling as her job has its challenges and she is engaged to a man she loves however she has a secret that she is hesitant to share as it will either bring them closer or tear them apart.
Trent and Whitney have been together for seven years however there appears to be a distance between them that has him wondering if the plans he is making for their future is all one sided. Status quo is no longer an option he is determined to show her that she can trust him with anything and that she can count on him to be there for her not only for now but forever.
The biggest challenge that Trent and Whitney face is being upfront with each other as how you face challenges as a couple is what makes your relationship and your love stronger.
I've taken a trip to Blue Moon Bay before (A Lot Like Love ), and rather enjoyed my stay. This time around, we've got two new characters to focus our sights on as their romantic escapades steadily decline. Doesn't sound like a great start? Well, that's NOT in fact where it starts. Where it starts is an accident that while not fatal cause a great deal of harm. We move forward from this harrowing event and get to experience the life and times of Whitney and Trent in both the BEFORE and the NOW. The BEFORE is before the accident, when they were just starting out and moving quickly towards the engagement they both hoped to secure (the way in which he proposed was so cute!). The NOW is everything that's happened after the accident, from the severely delayed wedding to the secrets they BOTH are carrying, the external stresses from work life and those from extended family. What started as a once upon a time, slowly marches away from the HEA and into the land of oblivion...to the point of possibly losing one another once and for all. Oh the heartbreak! Oh the agony! Oh the wasted years on each other if things don't work out! But oh how much joy they could have if they each learn to let the other in, take advantage of the support offered by friends, and give themselves a chance at a true happily-ever-after.
I really enjoyed getting to know these two characters as well as their friends and family. Whitney was a go-getter workaholic, constantly seeking validation in a world that only offers it in small doses. I get it, it probably stems from her past, but she's found the love of a lifetime, and she's slowly working a self-made wedge in between them as her inability to share everything of herself shuts her down. My heart broke for her as she kept trying to manage everything on her own, but when the am eventually breaks, we'll have to see where all the debris falls. Trent was not only easy on the eyes, but easy on the heart! He wanted nothing but the best for Whitney, and was willing to give her space, support, a relationship made just for them...but then even the best of us can have skeletons in our closets, and when they pop up unexpectedly, the results can cause quite a stir. Could Trent have handled it all better? Certainly....but you never know how you'll react in situations until they occur, and this one was a doozy. Given time, Trent finds his way...but will it be too late for him and Whitney?
A great read for Contemporary Romance fans, and a wonderful addition to your Fall Reading Lists!
To my deepest disappointment, this is the last book in the Blue Moon Bay series. It's been a wonderful journey and I'm so glad that this book ended with Whitney and Trent. After the last book, Whitney left me feeling concerned about her with questions on my mind that I desperately needed answers to. Told through the perspective of the past and present, we follow the journey between Whitney and Trent leaving us with a bittersweet ending concluding our time in this beautiful small town.
Out of all the ladies in the series, I really took a liking to Whitney. Partly because I see so much of myself in her, which made me like her instantly. She is a people pleaser that works hard to get any task done at whatever cost, especially when it comes to her health and happiness. She represents so many women out there who don't see how amazing they are and never ask for help especially when it's desperately needed. So, when someone like Trent comes along, you desperately root for her hea because she deserves someone that will love her unconditionally and want to be by her side no matter what.
I love Trent. He is the type of guy that grew up into a better, wiser person. You know, young and wild but older and wiser. All it took was to meet the right person and life changed for him. He's got a great supporting family that also loves Whitney and amazing friends that give the balance to his life that make him a likable character. He works hard and loves Whitney.
These two were made for each other. In their story, it literally has ups and downs but they are the testament of the power of the strength of how much someone can love another. There are some revelations and heartbreak in this book but ultimately we see why these two were meant to be together.
Overall, this was my favorite but without bias, this book was supposed to be the final. I love how she wrapped up everything and gave the closure that we deserved and needed. This was a really nice conclusion to a wonderful series. It gives you love, friendship and the joy of a great family. For those who have followed along with this series, you will love how this ends. If you are new to the series, please start from the beginning to absorb all aspects of the book. You will be able to follow how their stories intertwine in each other's lives.
A lot Like Forever is an emotional story about two people trying to figure out their relationship so they can move forward together.
Whitney and Trent start out with issues they need to work through both individually and as a couple. You can tell there is love between them, but their communication is an issue. I knew they'd get their HEA but it is definitely a journey to get there.
Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.
I LOVE Jennifer Snow. I was so excited to read the next book in this series but I ended up being so disappointed. I almost threw my kindle across the room in frustration at the characters. You would think, after being together that long they would just communicate and clear up the issues instead of letting them fester and tear them apart.
I expected more from this book and I feel let down.
