It was a sweet story but throughout the story new ideas were brought up that felt like it didn’t quite flow. The concepts just seem to bounce around. The illustrations are sweet and I think the wording being swirled is a fun add in. When it said “we live and we will last because God loves us”, could be confusing to children because they may wonder how you can still die then.
I thought the book was a good aid to help our little loved ones deal with sadness and grief. I believe the origin of the name may go over some heads, but the story carries a strong message. The tips on the last page of the book were a nice useful touch .
This is a very sweet book to help young children understand sickness and death. I appreciated how it was told through a hazelnut and how to help a child understand God's love. My daughter liked listening to it, and I will refer back to this when it becomes necessary.
This was cute. Good story line and cute illustrations. I read this to my son and it made him sad. He asks a lot about God and said that he know her mima is happy in heaven with God.
All Will Be Well by Lacy Finn Borgo. When children deal with grief they deal with it differently than we do. The author tries to use stories about when she was a little girl to prepare her friend.
All Will Be Well is a very touching book. I think it does a good job of showing grief through a child's eyes. It's a great reminder of God's love. Overall a sweet story with a good message.
All Will Be Well is a lovely, emotional story about a young girl and her relationship with her sick Grandma. It sensitively touches on the subject of death in an easy to understand way which can help a child understand their own grief.

This was so precious, little Julian was sad as her Mima was very sick and she didn’t understand why she wasn’t getting better. Mima would tell her the story of the Julian she was named after a women who cared and helped others and beloved so deeply in God.
This was really sweet and it’s a great book for guidance when you know that a child will lose a loved one, it is delicate and helps them find a physical thing to focus on to know that God is watching them and loves them even during sickness and in death.
I loved the illustrations within this book they were really pretty and I also loved the writing being different sizes and colours throughout to highlight certain words. It’s a really well created book on grief and loss for young children.
I know this isn’t for everyone, religious books aren’t but it is still beautiful, it still tells a sweet story and is a great guidance with really lovely illustrations throughout.
Very well told story of a young child losing a loved one and questioning why it happens. Great for those in the Christian faith to help their children deal with grief and loss.
It was a sweet story about a mother and her grandmother who is very sick but throughout the story new ideas were brought up that felt like it didn’t quite flow. The concepts just seem to bounce around. The illustrations are sweet and I think the wording being swirled is a fun add in.
This is a heartwarming book about a young girl's relationship with her grandmother. It gently addresses the issue of death in a very touching but approachable, kid-friendly way. Children will enjoy the beautiful illustrations, with easy to read facial expressions.
Grief is a multi-tentacle monster that's difficult to navigate. I like that the author addresses losing someone we love and how it can rock a person's faith. It's often overlooked.
I'd recommend this book to any Christian library. It will provide training wheels for parents that find loss, grief and hope for the future, a topic hard to broach, while providing a foundation to build on as their child grows emotionally and physically.
I do wish the author provided a few pointers for coping skills while addressing the anger phase of grief.

This was a sweet book about a young girl’s relationship with her grandmother. It gently addresses the issue of death in a way that is kid-friendly. I like that the book expresses both the sorrow of losing a loved one and the hope that we still have in God in the midst of our sorrow. The illustrations were well done, too, which made for an enjoyable read. I would recommend this book to anyone who is wishing for a gentle approach to discussing the issue of death with young children.

Sad event and God relates are difficult to explains to kids. Losing a love one or unanswered prayers. This book will give heartwarming explanations about such delicate questions. I love the meaningfull story and the illustrations.

This book is so precious. I, as an adult, will never be able to make someone young to understand about grief and how to talk about it. Such books do help a lot for the young readers to understand what grief is at their tender age and this is so important to let them know about the things they would face sooner or later.
I absolutely love this book. I love how perfect the illustrations are and how well done the writing is.
The cover nailed the concept perfectly.
All Will Be Well is a really great book for children dealing with the death of a loved one and how God's love can help them get through that time. I really enjoyed the relationship between Julian and her Mima. It was very sweet and comforting.
