I love reading short stories and I wish that there were more anthologies. This one has no Authors that I have heard of, which is not a problem. I like to read ne Authors.
Some of the stories are translated and I found them interesting and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this book.
Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for my copy of this book.

Fun, oddball, eclectic, I enjoyed some stories more than others but that's the nature of collections. Even not-my-favorites are excellent.

I love short story collections and am always more than happy to also collect “Best Of” compilations. This was a wonderful, well-rounded set of stories, with something or another sure to please all readers!.

It was really interesting to read short fiction from so many of my favorite authors- and to have so many works in translation in this edition. Some of the stories will stick with me for quite some time! I did not really enjoy the pandemic stories, though I can understand their inclusion. I found the works in translation to be the most varied and interesting of the bunch. 4 stars for keeping me guessing and reading, and for the diversity of voices.
