I would like to preface this by saying that this is my first true “self help” novel/workbook that I have ever been interested in buying. I received an eBook version, but have found that I will be ordering a physical copy as soon as I am able.
Being in therapy for a decade of my life now, I have had the privilege of learning a lot of things about myself; one of those being that I am a very emotionally sensitive person. I know myself well enough to know that it is hard to regulate and care for my own emotions. This workbook is a surprisingly great resource to write out your coping mechanisms and pull out and reference on a difficult day. Not to mention, the theme and format is adorable! I want to spend my time filling it out and focusing on my own care ASAP!
