This was such a cute book and a perfect cozy holiday read! I loved the alternating perspectives between Sadie and Max and really liked the way that the passage of time was handled. Thank you, NetGalley for the ARC!

This is the perfect book for when you're in the mood for a cheesy feel good holiday love story!
Max and Sadie are contestants of the hit reality show Starmaker. After getting paired in the duet week and the viewers go crazy for their on stage chemistry! This makes them start a fake dating relationship to help their chance at winning the show! They soon see their true selves and realize there might be a reason for their immediate chemistry.
I needed this book for this time of year! I love picking up easy holiday reads in November and December that help me get through my busy schedule and in the mood for festive everything! Grab a cup of hot chocolate or hot tea, light a festive candel and treat yourself with All I Want for Christmas!
Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for providing me with an eARC of this title in exchange for my honest thoughts!

I loved this book! 😍
I was just in Nashville a few months ago, so reading about the familiar tourist spots was so fun!
I also enjoy country music so this was strictly the country version of American Idol for me!
There was drama, triumph, love, and so many laughable moments!
This was my first Maggie Knox book, but it sure won’t be my last!!

I loved this setup, especially with the story being so much more than that. Also touching on grief and industry toxicity, it was surprisingly emotional. I really enjoyed the combination with the otherwise cheerful mood holiday romances bring.

#AllIWantForChristmas by #MaggieKnox is the second holiday novel I’ve ever read and it reminds me a lot of an edgier, steamier Hallmark Christmas movie. It was much cuter than I expected and is a fun way to welcome the holiday season.
I would recommend this book if you are in the mood for a light read to get you in the Christmas spirit. My favorite part about it has to be the fact that it made me want to visit Nashville during the holidays.

Wasn’t really a fan of this one. I just felt like to much stories where trying to be told in this one. When all I really needed was a cute romance. Favorite part where the heroine’s family story. Also the miscommunication in this felt to much. As did the year they went without communicating. I think a solid story was hear and it just got bogged down to to much stuff. I would like to try this author again sometime, but this one was a three star read.

Really enjoyed the story. I absolutely loved the name of the book and the beautiful cover. I have the ebook but decided to also get it in audiobook form. Had so much fun reading and listening to this story. No complaints other than the whole back and forth or miscommunications and misunderstandings between the two main characters. But other than that I really enjoyed the book and cannot wait to reread in years to come.

Rating this book 4.5 stars. I got hooked the moment I read page 1. I love the American Idol Country and the whole Christmas in Nashville vibes. There were few times I want to knock Max Brody in the head for being stubborn but his imperfections and Sadie's own imperfections like self doubt went well together. I really enjoyed the banters and their hesitancy with their relationship. I love how the book also told how music are made after reality show. Yes it is only fiction but you know there is some reality to it. I love Sadie's Grandma the most. Oh how she made me cry. I pretty much love all the characters even Cruz. What I love about the book the most is how it promotes loving your and others imperfections and never give up on your dreams. I also love that the romance wasn't too cheesy. While Max and Sadie were writing music together it reminded me of the movie Music and Lyrics.
Thank you @Netgalley for the advance ebook copy of this book

Sigh. I had high hopes for this one, but similar to last year's book by this duo, I felt that the chemistry was lackluster and rushed. So much of the book was dedicated to the poor communication between the characters that I did not get a chance to really love them together or feel the tension between them. The fake dating was over and out so quickly, the insta love was just as swift. I struggle with books whose central plots hinder on poor communication and this was no exception. These are supposed 30 year old people acting like children. Say something for crying out loud! It was just too fast, not enough depth, and I needed more from the plot and characters alike.

Perfect for the Christmas season, please add this one to your Holiday TBR. Trigger warning: loss of a loved one!
It is a grumpy sunshine trope, which is my all-time favorite trope. Their push-pull romance was almost too-much at times, but they kept my interest. Even though I am not a country music fan, I really enjoyed this. Super cute read.

Sadie and Max are competing on a TV show called Starmakers. They had met previously years ago leaving Sadie with a dislike of Max. I liked both characters but they had quite a few misunderstandings that could have been cleared up with one conversation which made me a bit frustrated. Overall I thought it was a cute Christmas story with more depth then fluff.

Very sweet! I loved the Nashville music scene. I loved Sadie and Max’s chemistry but haaaaaaaated their communication. They made me so frustrated!! I also felt like Max was a little too simple and they leaned into the country boy trope too much. Overall, a solid holiday read!

Sadie and Max are both on a reality tv series for singers. When they end up being teamed up by producers will they give each other a chance?
A fun read which makes you think more about how real what we see on tv is.

Max Brody is Nashville Royalty, as the only son of Holden Brody, Country music Super Star. Sadie Hunter is Nashville newcomer with little experience. When they are both cast on the new season of Starmaker, and the producers realize they’re amazing onscreen chemistry, they are forced together as a duo. Sparks fly, and not only the good kind. Can they get work together to win the series or will each of their troubled pasts interfere?
I didn’t want to stop reading All I Want For Christmas or for this story to end. I loved Max and Sadie, together and as individual characters. They were so real, raw and endearing and their relationship sizzle was off the charts. I only wanted a happy ending for both. It definitely has all the standard rom-com moments, but to me it had something more and I’ll remember it for some time. Perhaps it was the growth each character made over the course of the book, or the reality of their actions when hurt, but it’s more than worth a read!

A cute story, and I did feel the chemistry, but they spent more time arguing or being mad at each due to a lack of communication that it got a bit tiring.

Merry Christmas from Music City- where country music royalty Max and beautiful songstress Sadie are competing against each other in a popular country music competition. Producers decide to actually pair the couple up as a duet and have them pretend to be dating to help ratings. They sing lots of Christmas covers and I wish this book had audio so I could hear their remake of “All I Want For Christmas is You” bc the original is getting tired.
There are so many good tropes here- fake dating, enemies to lovers, celebrity romance. This book was full of angst and miscommunication and Max continually storming out and/or ghosting everyone. Normally I’d be annoyed at this, but because it was wrapped up in a Christmas bow and filled with holiday twinkle lights, I devoured the book like Santa eating plates of cookies on Christmas Eve.
Trigger warning to those who need it- there are two dead relatives in this book which may bring out the sads around the holidays.
If you love an angsty, fake dating, celeb romance def read this. My one complaint was that it was fairly low steam and you know I always want more sexay times, particularly under the Christmas tree.
Smut- 1.8 stars
Romance- 4.1 stars
Story- 4.5 stars
Angst covered in Christmas cookie crumbs- 5.2 stars

Well, this was a fun read.
Although it was hard to get past the dog named Patsy Canine at first, it ended up being a fun country music rom-com. Our male main character reminded me of a young version of my grandfather, so that made it cozier and more nostalgic.

All I Want for Christmas is exactly what I want in a holiday read. Sweet, funny, and full of depth, the duo that is #Saxie, will melt your heart. If you’re looking for that Hallmark energy, with just a little heat, don’t pass up this follow up novel by Maggie Knox!

I really wanted to love this because I enjoyed Maggie Knox's previous release, but this storyline and these characters were beyond frustrating. I wasn't even sure they liked each other most of the time. There was zero chemistry, a lot of arguing, and soooooo much miscommunication. If it had just happened once, that wouldn't have been terrible, but it happened over and over and over again. After a certain point, I honestly wondered if there would even be a happy ending because there was so much bad blood between them. Not speaking for a year and it not being a big deal? What??? I just didn't understand so many choices these authors made.

Max and Sadie are paired up on a singing competition tv show during the Christmas season. They both overcome their issues and realize that they have real feelings for eachother. This was decent. This could have used more background on the characters and less time arguing. I still found it enjoyable.
