Short and sweet is the best way to describe this rom-com! A great workplace romance between two insecure colleagues. This is a quick fun romance that has a couple you will be rooting for. You have someone who is nervous to tell a colleague that she likes him while the other thinks she's way out of his league.
This is a cute story and a quick read. My one qualm with this book is that the ending feels so abrupt. I wish that we could see them grow as a couple a little bit before the family dynamic changes things. Overall a great story but I felt like I was missing parts that would have made the story even better. When you all of a sudden start hearing about a parent that has been out of the main characters life for a while it feels a bit rushed. I think that if we had been given a little more information earlier on that the story would have felt more complete.
I still enjoyed the book and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a quick lighthearted read in-between heavier books. Thank you NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read this book!
5/5⭐️
This was a super quick and extremely cute read! Roller derby, office romance, tabletop roll playing games, friends to lovers = a smile inducing read. I can’t wait to read the sequel!
Thank you to NetGalley and Tantor Audio for the advanced copy!
A string of bad relationships has left Blaine cautious with expressing her feelings. After two years of secretly crushing and mild flirting, she is finally ready to tell the cute guy from the IT department, Lysander, that she likes him. A family health scare causes Lysander to make some lifestyle changes and pretty soon Blaine isn’t the only one noticing him.
You’re My I.T. is a fun friends to lovers romance. This is the first book in the Nerds of Happy Valley series but can be read as a stand-alone. Blaine and Lysander have great chemistry from the very beginning. While not total opposites, their personalities really compliment each other. The banter between them is sassy and delightful.
Trigger Warnings: There is a lot of talk about dieting and body concerns. There is also some bullying and harshness towards Lysandra and his weight loss. There is body positivity to offset this but it could still be concerning for some.
I always appreciate an audiobook with dual narration and this is no exception. Both narrators sound great.
This is the first book that I have read from this author but will not be the last. I look forward to seeing where she takes this series next.
I voluntarily listened to and reviewed an advanced copy of this audiobook. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you to NetGalley and RB Media!
This was such a fun read. It’s the perfect book when you’re looking for a cute rom com. The story was compelling and the situations were relatable. The audio narration was really good other than a few times where the volume when the character was speaking was much louder than the narration of the text outside of the quotes. I do think this book could be triggering for many who have struggled with body dysmorphia, so if that’s something you struggle with think about it before reading/listening.
A good, geeky, light rom-com.

This audiobook was super cute and I really, really enjoyed it. The characters and the storyline were brilliant.
This is so cute!!! I loved it, no notes. Even when some characters made stupid decisions, I understood where they were coming from. The two main characters are lovable, and their romance progressed in a way that felt very natural. I’m so glad I got to read this, and the audiobook was excellent!
This is such a cute story! I love Holmberg's writing, and this new venture into rom com books is all that I wanted. I loved Lysander and Blaine and they were absolutely adorable together. The characters felt more complex and interesting than in many of the romance books I have read recently. I could easily relate to their fears and feelings, and I devoured their story very quickly. The narration was wonderful and I loved that it was dual narrated. This was such an easy and fun read while I have been stressed out and way too busy lately. It was exactly what I needed.
This was a fun rom com. This is a slowburn, office friends to lovers story. You can see the characters growth/development through out this book. I adored Blaine and Lysander and their connection that they had. I also thought the dual narration was great in this.

Thank you NetGalley and RB Media for this audiobook for a honest review!
Ok, I was initially skeptical of yet another story with a nerdy guy / not-quite-as-nerdy girl, but oh my goodness, this was so adorable.
Blaine and Lysander's friendship was so cute, and I loved the body positivity slant of Lysander's character.
I did like the idea of the tech company slant, but some of the technical jargon pulled me out of the story because it didn't quite fit. But overall, a very cute and engaging story.
Both audiobook narrators were great!
4 stars. So fun! You’re My IT is everything I love in a contemporary romance; perfect pacing, slow burn friends to lovers, and just enough nerdiness and quirk to quickly engender you to Blaine and Lysander. I couldn’t help but be drawn into their world, rooting for them to figure it all out and getting attached to them and their friends along the way.
This is my first time reading Holmberg’s writing and I can’t wait to see what the next instalment of this series has in store. Thank you to C.N. Holmberg and Netgalley for an audiobook ARC of this incredibly fun story!
IT Nerd with a hot makeover, cute office girl who had a crush on the IT Nerd for the past two years. Rom-com eat your heart out!
Blaine has liked Lysander even before his insane weight loss makeover. Following Lysander's return after a 6 month health sabbatical Blaine finally pulls her courage together to tell him how she feels, but off course karma just really wants to get in-between and nip it in the butt.
A really fun office romance listen. You really got to give credit to Blaine for keeping her chin up. The character development was really awesome as it was short and sweet but you still get to know the character enough to really like them.
The dual narration was stellar and really brought that extra bit of pump to the story.
Rom-com fundi's - highly recommend!
Thank you Netgalley and RB Media for this absolutely wonderful audiobook ARC.
