This book blew me away as all OSHO books do. I wasn't surprised in the least with what an amazing read this was. I always feel like I need more OSHO. This is a topic I feel like I really needed and found this book so helpful.
This is a compilation of Osho's talks on the subject of forgiveness. Osho talks about forgiveness as generally a byproduct of becoming aware, "of taking space, of realizing that nursing hurt feelings or taking revenge hurts no more than oneself. Osho criticizes the Judeo-Christian notion of forgiveness. When we commit "sinful" or "wrongful" acts, we pray and then are forgiven by God. Forgiveness is a prerequisite for happiness. In Eastern religions, the concept of karma, forgiveness is a minor issue. Happiness is the result of good actions in the past. Unhappiness is the result of bad actions in the past.
The talks in this book have many valuable insights about forgiveness, but could have some editing. At 397 pages, it is over long and rambling, covering many topics unrelated to forgiveness.
