Solid book with a great story that keeps the reader interested the whole book. I liked the way the characters developed in the storyline.

This was a decent read, aimed at a younger audience based on the themes within the story.
It was a quick and easy to follow story that you could read while relaxing and unwinding at the end of a busy day.

'Behind Frenemy Lines' is a second YA book by Lauren Price but as great as the first one ("A Bad Boy Stole My Bra").
Erika dreams about Ivy League but to make her dreams come true she needs money, and as the senior year begins her Principal offers her money if she helps to expell school's bad boy Chase.
Erika tries to get closer to Chase in order to find evidence of his misconduct but with time she finds out that he is a really nice and funny guy, which complicates things because she needs the money and she likes Chase too much to ruin his life by expulsion.
I loved the book not only for the slow-burn romance plot but most of all for the hilarious banter between the characters.
Lauren Price has a gift of writing extremely funny books with relatable characters and that's why I am looking forward to reading all her future YA releases.
I give it 5 stars!

A quick paced fun YA romance!
I genuinely laughed out loud at some of the witty comebacks between these two and that definitely made this book more appealing for me. Not exactly enemies to lovers but a sort of forced proximity. I didn’t like the “drama” surrounding the headteacher and just couldn’t suspend reality enough to believe that a high school student / almost adult would be gullible enough to follow the headteachers lead in their awful plan.

This one is one of the sweetest, funniest YA contemporary romances I read in a while. The author did a great job of capturing what being a teen feels like - the struggles, the self-doubts, the emotional rollercoaster, the high school atmosphere. Her characters were vivid and extremely relatable, but above all, they didn't live in a void but were surrounded by their families and friends. In a word, they felt real. I loved Erika and Chase - well, I wanted so much to hug him - and their banter was irresistible.

The only aspect that didn't convince me completely was how easily Erika accepted - and never questioned - Chase's "list of sins" offered by Principal Blythe - especially when, getting to know him, that bad-boy image dramatically started to clash with the actual Chase.

All in all, I really loved this story, and I'll make sure to check the previous book by the Author with Riley and Alec starring.

I really enjoyed the book! I really like Erika and Chase’s relationship, and they’re very cute! It was a very fun and easy read definitely for YA readers! The characters were so funny and witty, I actually laughed.

Enemies to Lovers I'm in! This was awesome! It had all the right amount of sass, lies, honesty, and truth mixed in with friendships and relationships.

I loved all the characters especially Erika and her bouts of sarcasm and wit. Her flirting with Chase was so funny like who even has that.much wit and that many come backs! I was Impressed!

This read was so light hearted and super easy to read so I was flying through the pages and finished it in one day.

I highly recommend this for anyone who loves a bit of teen drama a definite YA fave of mine now!!!

This book was okay I had fun reading it but it was kinda basic and predictable. If you just want a quick-paced YA read this one definitely ticks the boxes but there were times when I was bored and just wanted it to be over. However, with that, there were also times that had me laughing out loud and loving the banter between our two main characters.

Behind Frenemy Lines is a solid YA enemies-to-lovers romance. It is a cute, enjoyable, albeit quite simple, read. The characters were well developed and the pacing was good. The plot is fairly predictable, but that is quite common with this type of book. The flirty banter between the protagonists was funny, witty and engaging. This book is definitely more suitable for the younger side of YA. This book is a feel-good, easy read, but if you're looking for something with a it more depth, this is not for you.

Eh, this was fine. It felt very generic and predictable and the writing was alright but nothing special. I didn't overly connect to the characters or the plot and it was just meh. There was nothing glaringly wrong with this novel but also nothing overly bright or appealing.

This was an enjoyable read that was well written with well developed charcaters. I would have liked a bit more unpredictability in the book but overall an enjoyable read,

This one was definitely interesting and ended in a way in which I felt the book should have. I liked it enough but don’t think this is a book I would immediately recommend.
