Love Out Loud was such an enjoyable read. The story is about Fiona and Jake, who know each other by face but only meet each other properly when Jake is hired to coach Fiona for a speech she needs to give. This book was an easy and light read and I thought the characters had really good chemistry.

A great and fun romantic comedy. Fiona is a vet with a fear of public speaking. Jake is a public-speaking coach with a fear of dogs. This is the set up for an amusing an awesome plot to bring two characters out of their comfort zone. It is filled with witty quips that make it a worthy page turner. Both human and animal characters are great. Fiona and Jake both find their better self on their way to a happily ever after.

When people say opposites attract they must have known people like Jacob Ward and Fiona Nichol. These two had very little in common, but were able to find common ground. Jacob (Jake) a successful speech coach was all work and very little play. He spent his days (and often nights) helping clients do their best at public speaking engagements. Dr. Fiona Nichols is the poster child for hot mess express. She is extremely shy and devotes herself to her veterinarian practice.

The two main characters have shared looks and greetings for months because they live in the same apartment building. The problem is Fiona, she is shy and always has her dogs with her and Jake is terrified of dogs. The two wind up officially meeting when Fiona earns an award in which public speaking is required. Her friend arranges for her to get lessons to help with her anxiety from none other than Jake. The two have undeniable chemistry from the start, having to work together just increases their attraction.

This is a sweet rom/com that will make you laugh. It is a feel good read. I recommend it for anyone who loves romance, women's fiction, opposites attract or animal stories (because there are some super cute animals involved as well).

I give a solid four stars to this light, fun, enjoyable romance. I would definitely read another book by this author.

This was an uber cute romcom that i finished in under 2 hours. Dogs and a heroine that is shy and awkward but doesn't want to be invisible?
Yeah, I'd be friends with Fiona. We'd be awkward together at first but i think we'd get comfortable in our discomfort!

I highly enjoyed and laughed at their first official (cause staring at the handsome guy/beautiful girl across a lobby doesn't count) meet-cute. Which then turns into a hilarious and uncomfortable situation as Jacob is hired to help Fiona with a speech she has to give for an award about her work as a vet that does special work for the homeless and their pets.

Jacob- I adored him. He has all the confidence in the world except around dogs. As he finally explains to Fiona later in the book, I understand his reticence towards dogs. I love how Fiona helps him understand his fears and helps him get past it.

Cute and mushy, easy read. This was a nice break up from my usual thrillers.
Requested this book simply because of the Cairn Terriers on the cover! And surprise- one in the book is named Otto, like my Cairn. :-)
Would’ve liked a little more conflict among the characters. But loved the message about helping homeless animals.

Love Out Loud is the third book in Marissa Clarke’s Animal Attraction series. Veterinarian Dr. Fiona Nichol is very bright, loves her patients, has a heart of gold, and is overwhelmingly shy. Her greatest fear is speaking before a crowd, which is exactly what she is being asked to do at a special dinner where her work with homeless folks and their animals is being acknowledged and there is a large monetary award to help with her work.

Her friend and coworker Jane has hired a sought after speech coach to help Fiona prepare. What could not have been predicted is that the coach, Jacob Ward, is Fiona’s Hot Guy from her apartment building lobby. Nor could they have guessed his greatest fear.

In the ensuing weeks, Jake helps Fiona to narrow her ideas and prepare her speech. But so much more than that occurs. This is a lovely story of opposites who really aren’t and what they learn about each other as well as themselves. I very much enjoyed this book and I do recommend it!

You KNOW I love a hot mess heroine, and Fiona manages both to be a total hot mess and also super confident and competent. It's a very attractive combo!

Like the other books in the Animal Attraction series, Love Out Loud is a fun, flirty, light read. There are plenty of laugh out loud moments (like the meet cute between Fiona, Jake, and Sir Squashalot...) and also some very tender ones. I feel like, while both characters go through some great personal growth, it's really Fiona who helps Jake grow the most (despite him being hired to help her with public speaking!) Their chemistry is so cute, and there's a bit of a slow burn as they both try to resist and keep their relationship professional/platonic.

This is a very short book (just over 200 pages) and is the 3rd book in the Animal Attraction series. It can be read as a standalone, but the heroines from the first two books do appear in this one as side characters and there may be minor spoilers for the earlier books in the series.

The last thing Fiona wants or needs is to make a speech when honoured with an award. However her friends are persistent and sign her up with a public speaking coach, who coincidentally turns out to be the hot guy from her apartment building. Although not low in self esteem or confidence, Fiona finds enforced social settings extremely difficult; a fact that Jake is inclined to brush aside, until that is Fiona who quickly discovers his irrational fear, turns the tables on him.
A lighthearted read where the dogs steal the show.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is book 3 in the Animal Attraction series. In this wonderful odd couple romance, a Vet, Fiona, and a public speaking coach, Jake, live in the same building, but have very little interaction. Then Fiona wins a very prestigious award, and she is sent to Jake to help with her fear of public speaking. Sparks fly, but can they each get over their fears to make this work?

I read and enjoyed the first 2 books in this series so I was thrilled to see another book in the series come out. This book was about a shy veterinarian who finally meets her crush (public speech coach) when she has to give a speech. This was an entertaining, funny quick read. I loved it!

I have not read the first two books in this series but I think it can be read as standalone to fully get the story.

The characters were so refreshing and I loved the chemistry between them.
I was confused when the male character was always aloof with her dogs but then I realized that he is afraid of them lol.
This kind of give me NA vibe instead of Adult romance though but it still a good read. a kind that takes me away from all the RL stress
this book gave me a fun way to relax

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advances copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. This is book 3 in the series but can be read as a standalone. I loved this sweet romance book. Fiona is a vet who is more comfortable with her dogs and animals at work than people and I can so relate to that. I loved every second of this book and if you like romance and animals this book is for you.

💏 Entertaining & love those dogs🐶

The book has a great opening and it''s a good story with humor and whimsy, especially the antics of female lead veterinarian Fiona's cairn terriers Otto and Daisy. I found it easy to read and the romance is believable between two professionals who help each other face their fears.

Recommended, especially for animal lovers.

Thanks to Entangled Love struck and NetGalley for sharing a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

This is a laugh out loud romantic comedy! Fiona is an endearing character. She's a complete introvert much more comfortable with her dogs and animals at work than people. But she's got a fabulous sense of humor. Jake is hired to coach her on making a public speech. That's when the fun begins! The story does great at stressing how important it is to not make snap judgements about people. I enjoyed this book from the first to the last page. I received an advance copy from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Thank you to Entangled Publishing and Netgalley for an e-ARC of this book to read and review! This was a third book in a series that can absolutely be read as standalones. I loved Fiona and Jake as characters. Fiona was a badass veterinarian and I loved how passionate she was for all the animals. I also loved how both of their jobs helped the other grow and develop. I would have loved more of an epilogue. I felt the ending was so quick and I really enjoyed where the love story was going and definitely wanted more. Overall, this was a super cute and quick romance!

Fiona is a vet who is painfully shy when it comes to public speaking. She has been given a prestigious award for her community work and has to give a speech. Her friends and coworkers hire Jake Ward, who is a public-speaking coach to help her prepare. When they meet she realizes Jake Ward is the hot guy living in her building, she has been lusting after. And he is scared of dogs.
This was an adorable read. I enjoyed the banter and the heat between the main characters. Love out loud is a sweet and entertaining read that make me smile and swoon.

This book gives all the feels!!

Meet-cute with an embarrassing element, cute puppies, good girlfriends and adorable main characters who are opposites but boy do they attract! This was a fast, fun read, part of a series but felt like a standalone. I’m hoping there will be more in this series, but if not, I’ll look for more from this author in the future.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.
