.The book tells the story of Little Tractor who lives on the Big Oak Farm with daddy tractor and farm animals who is afraid of running down the hill in the rain. One day he is asked to help out the farm animals when the chicken and her chicks are in need of his help. It's raining and he absolutely doesn't like the rain. This is a delightful book about conquering fear and being brave. Loved the illustrations and the themes.

This book is about a little tractor who has to overcome his fear of the rain to help his friends. The graphics were cute and straightforward. The storyline was quick. I felt the dad tractor could have handled the situation better. A good book for children who enjoy digger toys and/or farm animals.

Such a fun story about being brave and helping friends with a cast full of cute character to find throughout! While the story itself is a bit longer than I would typically choose, it’s a great pick for kids older than 3 with longer attention spans!

Little Tractor is scared to go out after he slips with his dad. Then one of his friends needs help. The best part of this book was the pictures. They were beautifully drawn. I especially loved how the tractor had eyes that fit with the scene. This is a great story of bravery and putting others before yourself. I loved the pictures at the end that mirrored each other.

This was a fun little read. I really loved the illustrations.
Although it didn't have an important moral of the story, what it did include was a note on bravery and helping your friends.
Reminded me so much of the children's picture books I used to read as a kid.
Will definitely read this to my nephew.

I can't say I was the biggest fan of this one and probably won't read it to my kids. The illustrations are a little blah and I'm not entirely clear on the message. Little Tractors dad seems irresponsible and Little Tractor just seems more pragmatic than anything. He was still "brave" and did the dangerous things people wanted him to do, he just tried to come up with less dangerous solutions first. This was a miss for me.

Little Tractor lives on the Big Oak Farm with daddy tractor and farm animals like chicken, duck, pig, and horse. One day, Little Tractor goes out with daddy tractor to run down the hill in the rain. Little T doesn’t like it and refuses to come out of the shed because it’s still raining. But the chicken and her chicks are in danger. The river is overflowing, and they might drown if no one saves them. Can Little T get over his fear of slipping in the mud and rain to rescue the chicken?
This is a cute little story about being brave and conquering fear. The illustrations are full-scale and vibrant. The Little TY has round eyes (oops, headlights) and is painted a vibrant red. I love the mood of the illustrations. The scene where the pig hands over teeny cups of drink to wet chicks is super cute. Imagine little chicks drinking from tiny cups!
To sum up, Little Tractor Is Brave is a short and attractive book for little ones. The part about the little tractor growing up isn’t logical, but hey, this is a kiddo book. ;)
I received an ARC from NetGalley and Clavis Publishing and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a cute book with bright and colorful illustrations in which Little Tractor learns a valuable lesson about being brave and conquering your fears. I think kids will enjoy this book because who didn't love tractors when they were young.

Bravery. Courage. Confidence. Self-esteem. This are inextricably linked and inter-changeable with children. Quintart has crafted a beautiful book that opens up the conversation about what it means to be brave and that there are many different kinds of bravery.

Little Tractor must overcome his fears to help in an emergency. In order to protect his friends, he must face those fears. He is nervous about speeding down a big hill. The book is a great way to show children they can balance being cautious and taking risks, as well as doing what is needed in an emergency even if they are afraid. First time experiences can be nerve wracking for children but this book empowers young people and validates their anxieties and worries. Bravery and courage are great themes to discuss, as well as believing in yourself, trying new things, and overcoming challenges.

Adorable, hand painted style illustrations are fun and engaging. Plenty of great lessons for kids to learn. This story was both entertaining and educational, which can be a tricky balance to maintain in a children’s book, and I will be suggesting it to teachers whenever possible. Incorporating social-emotional topics such as this into children's picture books is a tried and true way to teach important life skills in a way that is fun. This would be an amazing addition for classrooms, libraries, counselling offices and more.

Little tractor was a picture perfect example of small children learning or going through something for the first time. He was able to overcome his fear and help his friends in a time of need, as well as others while on his journey. I enjoyed that his father didn’t push him to try to do something he didn’t want to do and that he made the conscious decision on his own to overcome it. Cute illustration and good message.

5 STARS!

Similar moral to the story as “The Little Engine That Could”, I found the “Little Tractor Is Brave” to be creative, well-written, and even more articulate and impactful than most children’s books. My children enjoyed is just as much, if not more, than I did.

A sincere thank you to NetGalley and Clavis Publishing for providing me an advanced copy of “Little Tractor Is Brave” in exchange for an honest review. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to read this story and leave my review voluntarily.

A successful, dramatic little read for successful, dramatic little readers. Here the little tractor doesn't like the idea of speeding down a hill in the rain, but might have to change his mind when some of his friends amongst the critters on the farm end up in danger. Good levels of cutesiness in the animals and details in the pictures – fine double-page spreads throughout – aid to enjoyment, yet don't get in the way of the ease and pace that the narration has. This little tractor is bang, indeed, to mangle the original title.

I asked for this book to share with my 2.5 year grandson (who loves vehicles.). He loves it. Can we read it again? What more could you want?

This is a great story of finding courage for children. The author did an excellent job of conveying a very important life lesson. The characters and images are colorful and visually appealing. Little tractor experiences self-doubt, but his father is there to encourage him. Then, when faced with a challenge, little tractor summons up the courage to help those in desperate need. It is an important lesson for children to know about courage and being a good friend. Curl up with your little ones and share this story.
