This book tells the story of a little tractor who is afraid to go out in the rain. One day when it is raining there is an emergency and the animals need his help. He learns that facing fears and being brave is important and something that he can do! This is a sweet picture book that I'm sure little truck lovers will enjoy. I would recommend this book to children in the 3-6 age range. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book!
Ah-dooooor-able story about bravery, working together and helping others following THE CUTEST tractor you ever did see- we're going to call him Lil' T.
Lil' T LOVES spending time with his dad learning and doing new things but he was really scared to race down the muddy hill in the rain.
After a little encouragement, Lil' T follows his dad up the hill and begins to race down when he goes too fast and slides off into the grass. POOR LIL' T! For the next few days, he hides out inside and is too frightened to face the rain and mud again.
When disaster strikes, his friends come to ask for his help- Lil T' overcomes his fear of the rain and mud and sets off to rescue Annette and her chicks. By working together with his animal pals, he is able to not only save Annette and her babes- but a trailer full of furry and fluffy friends along the way.
This was such a sweet and simple story about courage and facing your fears combined with themes of friendship, kindness and teamwork- told through lovely, vivid illustrations.
Little Tractor reminds me of The Little Engine that Could.
Little Tractor wants to be big and brave like his Daddy Tractor but is struggling. That is, until a disaster happens and he has to step up to save the rest of the farm.
I liked the premise of this story. I loved that all the animals on the farm had names and we learned them even though they weren't a big part of the story.
The illustrations felt a little flat to me but still worked overall with the story.
Overall, a good book!
Such a sweet book about perseverance and bravery! Perfect book for elementary students. Bravery isn’t about not being scared, but doing something anyway when you know your friends need help! Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the early read.

Little Tractor is indeed brave. Although he wasn't very brave to start with, he finds courage in the desperate of times when he finds himself in a place to save his friends. Little Tractor is Brave is a short and sweet story about a little tractor who steps it up and chooses to be brave to help out others in need. Daddy Tractor wants to go racing down a hill with Little Tractor when it starts to rain really hard. Little Tractor tries it out but ends up slipping and skidding in the mud. So scared after this incident, Little Tractor vows never to go out in the rain again. Until one rainy day, Little Tractor is needed to help save his friends. Will he be brave and go out even when's it scary in the mud and rain? What will he do?
