Good book. Everyone in the TCC heard Natalie's confession of her feelings for Jonathan when her online chat with her best friend accidentally went live at the club's Fourth of July bash. Since then, she's been avoiding him and everyone else as best she can. Finally, she decides to leave town for a while and let the gossip die down. She checks into a Galveston resort and looks forward to a week of peace.

Jonathan has been aware of Natalie's crush for years, but with a bad marriage and divorce under his belt, he has no intention of ever marrying again. He blames himself for the failure of his marriage, so he keeps his liaisons superficial and spends all of his time working on the family ranch. When his worried parents force him to take a vacation, Jonathan finds himself checking into the same resort where Natalie is staying.

I enjoyed seeing the relationship develop between Natalie and Jonathan. Natalie is a curvy woman who was bullied as a child because of her weight and still has self-esteem issues. When Jonathan looks at her, he sees a sexy woman he'd like to spend time with. Neither can deny the fiery attraction they feel. After one night together, Jonathan proposes a week-long fling to end when they return to Royal. Natalie agrees because she will take what she can get but suspects that her heart will pay the price.

Natalie was right. The more time they spent together, the deeper her feelings for Jonathan grew. Throughout the week, he made it clear that marriage would never be an option, but she couldn't help hoping he'd change his mind. Some scenes between them fueled that hope. Even though Jonathan often feels things with Natalie that he's never felt before, he suppresses those feelings, sure they wouldn't last. He stubbornly sticks to his "no marriage" mantra until Natalie finally believes him.

On their return to Royal, they attempt to return to their previous lives, but both are miserable. Resuming their affair in secret seems to be the only cure. Once again, Natalie risks her heart, but she can't stay away from the man she loves. Jonathan may be cracking under the onslaught of his feelings, but his fears continue to hold him back. When Jonathan's ex-wife confronts Natalie, it brings her fears to a head, and she pulls back. I loved seeing Jonathan finally see the light with the help of his brother Jayden. I loved his emotional reunion with Natalie, and his big moment at the end was a neat tribute to their beginning.

I am a big fan of Yahrah St. John. She has a way with her magic pen of making her characters come to life. You are pulled in from the cover to pages in between which leaving you seeking out more of Yahrah books. You can’t go wrong reading a book Yahrah. This is the 5th book in the “Texas Cattleman Club Ranchers And Rival Series”. Jonathan is a super sexy alpha rancher and the oldest of 3 his siblings Caitlyn, Alexandra, Jayden. Jonathan has been thru a bad breakup with his ex-wife Anna and has vowed to never marry again or open up his heart. Anna has done the unthinkable and she doesn’t think that she should share in the end of her marriage. Natalie has just confessed on Facebook Live to her best friend Chelsea Grandin her secret crush on Jonathan Lattimore at the Texas Cattleman’s summer bash. Now that Natalie’s secret is out Jonathan is avoiding her like the plague. Natalie heads to Galveston for a vacation and to get away from her Facebook Live event. Jonathan’s parents thinks that he is working to much and needs to getaway; so they book him a trip to Galveston. Natalie and Jonathan meet and both decide up on a vacation fling. What happens in Galveston stays in Galveston or does it. The oil rights between the Lattimore’s and Grandin’s are still a topic of discussion.

Waiting patiently for Jayden Lattimore’s journey to romance.

Now that the vacation to Galveston is in the past and Natalie and Jonathan are back in Royal will they seek each other out, who knows that Natalie and Jonathan were Galveston, what’s going on with the oil rights, can Jonathan open up his heart to Natalie and have an HEA?

I received an ARC via NetGalley and Harlequin - Romance (U.S. & Canada), Harlequin Desire and I am leaving my review voluntarily.

Quick Summary: A hot and bothered romance

My Review: Vacation Crush was something else! I was not ready for that kind of 0 to 100 sizzle. The thing that made this story stand out was the sweetness of the crush mixed with the highly passionate partnering. Natalie and Jonathan found something special in each other. Once they decided to really take a chance on being together and to cast aside their doubts and fears, all things worked out for the good.

My Final Say: The Texas Cattleman's Club has been an incredible find. I cannot wait to read the next installment. Bring it on!

After confessing her unrequited feelings for rancher Jonathan Lattimore in an accidental livestream, Natalie Hastings makes a hasty retreat from the gossips of Royal, Texas and checks into a resort where she bumps into Jonathan and they have a vacation fling.

My thoughts: Overall I loved Natalie & Jonathan together they had such amazing chemistry but it definitely took Jonathan sometime to realize he had genuine feelings for Natalie even though everyone and his mom knew exactly how he felt about her before he even realized it. So majority of this book was based on the intense sexual tension they had but also Jonathan thinking that he wasn’t capable of loving or carrying about another human being after his marriage ended in shambles. Jonathan blamed himself for his marriage ending and blamed himself for his ex wife terminating her pregnancy, so he felt like he was not capable of being in a serious relationship and continued to push his feelings for Natalie away.

I received an ARC from Netgalley in return for a review. Vacation Crush is the fifth book of the Texas Cattleman’s Club Series featuring the Lattimore and Grandin families. Entrepreneur Natalie Hastings is mortified when she realizes she expresses her feelings for Jonathan Lattimore in front of the whole town at the Texas Cattleman’s Club event.

Jonathan saved Natalie from bullies when she was 13. Her crush never subsided and has blossomed to full blown feelings. Jonathan is a rugged man who has worked on his family’s ranch for years. From the Stetson hat to cowboy boots, he is a sexy cowboy from head to toe. When Natalie was finally ready to “shoot her shot” in college, she discovered Jonathan a married man, then divorced. Unbeknownst to Natalie, Jonathan’s feelings are the same and he avoids like the plague. Interestingly, he finds her full figure sexy, while she doesn’t like that about herself.

While coincidentally vacationing at the same spot, Natalie and Jonathan throw caution to the wind and explore their physical attraction. Ms. St. John captures the strong chemistry between them. It’s explosive and each love scene is steamy. Vacation Crush includes the elements of a fun, summer read: Sexy hero and heroine, plenty of heat, a little drama and a satisfying ending. I highly recommend it.

Natalie has crushed on Jonathan forever. After a failed marriage, he’s not looking for long-term. Can a vacation fling lead to more?

I’m loving this series. Even though the books are written by different authors, there’s a strong sense of continuity. The books can be read as stand-alones, but they’re fun to read as part of a series.

Natalie and Jonathan are hot together, but Jonathan’s ex really messed him up. I was glad Natalie stood up for what she wanted instead of giving in to his insecurities.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

This is a Cowboy Romance, and this is the 5th book in the Texas Cattleman's Club: Ranchers and Rivals series. I have not read any of the other books in this series, but I think this book can be read as a standalone without any problem. This book gets very steamy at times. I did really like the characters in this book, and I also liked the storyline. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Harlequin Desire) or author (Yahrah St. John) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.
