Those Buzz Books are awesome, you can dive in a lot of new books - doing a list for what to read next or what you might be interested in! Fantastic for reading between Doctor´s Appointments or something like that. Or when you are just tired but also want to read bit!

Thanks NetGalley for this opportunity to get a view on which books in the romance genre was to come in 2022. There are so many great titles, some of them, which I have already read, but some of them, which I still have on my tbr or now added to the list. This is a great speak peak and a good inspiration for upcoming reads.

I found this an interesting collection with some excerpts I liked. Romance being a superhit genre deserves its own collection and I got a good view of the anticipated books here.

Another amazing sampler. I absolutely love seeing these and what they have for future releases. This gives you just the right amount of content to decide if you really want to support the author and content provided!

Buzz Books are always my favorite ways to sample new authors, especially the romance edition. This set of excerpts made me excited to try a few new authors and new books from old favorites. Especially the Kate Clayborn!

I get excited when these teasers are put together. It always adds more TBR to my list and helps me find what I like in a romance.
Highly suggest if you’re looking for your next great read!

As a recent finder of these Buzz Books I can tell you with 100% certainty that I am obsessed with them. To be able to get a window into these anticipated reads, and to get to know the authors a little bit more. I don't know if my TBR can handle it.

What a wonderful concept to introduce upcoming books. Perfect for book sellers or avid readers looking to plan our their reading year.

Buzz books tease got me again. I don't think the right excerpts are included in these. Nothing that really makes a reader stop what they are doing and buy the books. This makes me sad because I am a huge fan of 5 of these authors works and I couldn't even get fully excited to read those.

I enjoyed this buzz books romance list and appreciate the fact that readers had the opportunity to read excerpts from their favorite and up-and-coming authors. It was perfect! I am always on the look out for new Jasmine Guillory and Kennedy Ryan books and I have already written them down for my never-ending TBR. I’m excited to read these books in the future and looking forward to reading the next list for the new season/year.
Thank you to the authors, Publishers Lunch, and Net Galley for advanced copies of excerpts from these books.

There are so many of these books that I am excited to keep reading. SOme of these authors' names really grabbed my attention, and I think samplers like this are super helpful in allowing readers to anticipate upcoming reads, and weed out ones they may be more or less interested in.

This was my first Buzz Books-Romance and I will definitely ask to read one of these again because I was introduced to so many hopefuls for this year, 2023! I enjoy the Romance genre and it was great to read snippets of authors I already enjoy and to "meet" new authors and settings/characters. This is an exciting concept//way to learn about new books.

As with, Buzz Books Great Reads Fall/Winter 2022, it's obvious from a simple scan of the book covers that minority inclusion was of ultimate importance with this collection. Stories from various backgrounds are great, but not when so disproportionate to the overall population. If we assume that intelligence and storytelling are equal across different populations, which we should, the books included should be more equally represented.

On a completely different note and topic, I didn't see anything here I was interested in. I'll admit that Romance isn't on the top of my "wanna read" list, but I usually find a few. Of nine I looked at here, only one prodded me to probe further, and ultimately I passed as it is the second in a series.

Note that this is a much smaller edition than the Great Reads Fall/Winter, with only 15 titles included.

If you'd like to see the books included (most anyway), you may find them here: https://bookshop.org/lists/buzz-books...

Thank you so much for this, NetGalley, and the publishers on the list.

Having a small taste of so many authors was such a treat. Particularly with Scarlett St. Clair, Jasmine Guillory and Abby Jimenez was just the icing on the cake as I already favor these writers, but being exposed to the others was just as helpful.

As someone who enjoys contemporary romance, I always feel like I've become more critical and picky in how much I enjoy my HEAs. Scarlett's Queen of Myth and Monsters has me on the edge of my seat and Abby Jimenez I typically just get sucked in (along with my feels).

Feels like there's a little something for everyone in this complilation.

A great teaser of all things romance planned in 2022. Nothing that really took my fancy but might appeal to others. Hard to tell with limited chapters.
Thank you to netgalley for the arc in exchange for an honest review.

Reviewing each excerpt as I complete them in this collection of Romance books.

Georgie, All Along by Kate Clayborn [3.5 stars]: I am middle of the road but leaning more towards liking this one. It follows a celebrity assistant who suddenly finds herself unemployed and traveling back home. There was a little of what I think is the love interest. The little synopsis mentioned sunshine and grumpy trope, so that should be fun. I think, however, that I will like this one a lot better in audio format. It was very descriptive and wordy and sometimes that is hard for me to read physically and easier to listen to.

Where the Sun Rises by Anna Gomez & Kristoffer Polaha [3.5 stars]: I really liked the girl's perspective but I'm meh on the guy's perspective. The imagery of Hawaii and in general was very beautifully written.

Gigi, Listening by Chantel Guertin [3 stars]: The opening of this one seemed very chick lit and didn't draw me in as much. It was okay.

Drunk on Love by Jasmine Guillory [3 stars]: Not enough story for me to really get sucked in or have any sort of feelings but I love Guillory so I'm sure I will like it - it's on my TBR already.

A Witch's Guide to Fake Dating a Demon by Sarah Hawley [5 stars]: IMMEDIATE LOVE. This one was also already on my TBR but I have to get my hands on this as soon as it is out.

Just My Type by Abby Jimenez [4 stars]: This book is now Yours Truly but it is set in the Part of Your World setting and I'm so excited about it because fake dating. Need immediately. It was also already on my TBR.

Something Wild and Wonderful by Anita Kelly [4 stars]: Officially adding this to my TBR. It's a MM romance and Ben and Alexei are the most adorable cinnamon rolls ever.

Zora Dizon Books Her Happy Ending by Taj McCoy [3.5 stars]: I liked the voice but wasn't super invested in the story yet. So it's more a toss up if I will read it or not.

Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan [4.5 stars]: I'm always a little weary of the soulmates that divorce plot because I'm a little sensitive there (I haven't experienced it but I'm scared of the possibility) but I really liked this first glimpse. I think this one will break my heart in the best way. Added to my TBR - it's already released!

The Many Dates of Indigo by Amber D. Samuel [2 stars]: The beginning of this one really didn't capture me. It was a little on the dry side.

End of Story by Kylie Scott [3 stars]: This one was a little cheesy but I'm not opposed to reading it. It follows Susie who inherits her aunt's house and the handyman turns out to be her ex's best friend, Lars.

The Boxing Baroness by Minerva Spencer [5 stars]: Not my genre at all but oh man, I am obsessed with this one. Need to get my hands on it. Marianne seems like she's going to be such a fun character and a total badass. And who doesn't love a dark, mysterious, brooding love interest.

Queen of Myth and Monsters by Scarlett St. Clair: Skipped because this is a sequel. But added the first book to my TBR because it's a vampire fantasy romance. Seems like it errs on the side of high fantasy.

The Falling by Anna Todd [2 stars]: I can kind of go either way with a military book because I've been an army wife for 16 years. This one is definitely not for me, but I could see someone who maybe didn't have any relation to the military being okay with it. The storyline was a little harder for me to follow too.

The Rewind by Allison Winn Scotch [2 stars]: This one didn't really capture my attention either. It's a nostalgic set in 1999 second chance romance.
