This is a sweet, sexy and emotional story, it is about second chances, love, forgiveness and rebirth, Thomas and Erin are plagued by pasts that torment them, their relationship starts off on the wrong foot but little by little as they begin to know each other, everything begins to change and feelings begin to bloom and I loved it, I love how they support each other and help each other heal.
This book caught me by surprise in several ways. I didn't expect it to be written the way it is, firstly. It's as if the author tried to paint with words just as the characters paint onto canvas. For the most part it flows beautifully, but there are some scenes that this approach makes things seem jittery, and others it seemed sticking to that style was a struggle.
The characters... they're a mess, I'll be real. I liked Erin's strength for most of the book but then her reaction to what happens towards the end seemed super dramatic, even with her history, especially when she'd been so understanding up until then. Thomas became better as he opened up more, but even after hearing his full story I wanna shake him (and his parents- like what the heck guys?!). They're 100% as frustrating and annoying as actual people and I can appreciate that realness.
Overall, I enjoyed this one but felt a little like something was missing? I really can't put my finger on exactly what it is... I'd recommend giving it a shot to see what you think of it!
Now, I’m quite picky with books. I love reading and have read so many—I was genuinely surprised by this book. The premise is addicting and the characters are so easy to love—this author truly created a great novel. The main premise is interesting—age gap, professor/TA romance. Love it!
A steamy emotional complicated romance.
It about getting
to know one another and all theirs faults and find that they are the for you.

I really liked this book. I love reading romance novels, and I could really relate with the characters of this novel. I spend years and years drawing and then did a year in an art college. I loved it, and so I loved learning about the main characters of this romantic book.
This book combined my two loves, namely art and literature. How beautifully this story was told too. I liked the style of writing and the plot, the beautiful descriptions of the paintings created, and the colours in them. I liked the stormy relationship between the main characters. It makes the story seem more real as life isn’t easy, just like the story in this book but in the end love always wins.
This was my first book I’ve read by this author but I’m hoping to read more in the future. I recommend this novel for any fans of romance novels.
