I love Olivia Dade. Her books have amazing representation and are full of both laughs and steam. While this one had all of those trademarks, it just didn't work as well as her others for me. We meet Maria and Peter in the midst of their one night stand. Peter wakes up to find Maria gone and is both hurt and disappointed that she ghosted him. To say he is not thrilled to find out that Maria will star against him in their upcoming roles on a hit TV show is understating it. He is less than thrilled about it and makes this known to Maria from day one.
Ship Wrecked is enemies to lovers with forced proximity. These two spend years filming on a remote island. What I didn't love was the timing of the book. There are literal months and years skipped here and so the buildup to their coming together is sort of lost for me. There was way too much about filming and their co stars and so the tension and angst just didn't hit it for me. I just felt like Dade missed something here that she usually does not in her writing.
With all that said, even a rough Dade book is a good book. I was happy to see characters from previous books and liked how she overlapped certain parts of the series. While this wasn't my favorite, I'm glad I was able to read more within this world.

While I'm new to this crazy cast and their journey, it doesn't hurt the story or your appreciation for all things crazy.
While Mac and Whiskers takes some faith to understand, it's only because I had no idea their telepathic connection. (Snickers so hard) Aside from the feline human bond (because this story isn't about Mac and Whiskers), this Hollywood on location novel is a slow burn for all the die hard romantics. One night stand-turned enemies-turned friends and years, YEARS of lust and tension. Yes, you too will be long past ready for the rpf to come true!
Sweet, fun, and full of flawed real people, Ship Wrecked is a good time. And may the chaos award (or Cupid) go to Alex for all that he does.

I really enjoyed Maria and Peter’s story!
The fact that both characters were plus sized was refreshing, and having one character so willing to fight for her body and what she believed in is what I’d like to see more of in romance books.
Per usual, I loved Olivia Sade’s writing style and the spice was perfection. Already looking forward to the next installment!

Maria, a Swedish actor considering a jump to LA, and Peter, a longtime LA resident whose been following his dreams of becoming a leading man in Hollywood for years, meet in a sauna and sparks fly. They spend a night together before Maria leaves without a trace. The two meet again soon after at an audition for a blockbuster show, Gods of the Gates, where they are cast opposite one another as the only two actors filming a slow-burn romance on an isolated island. While chemistry still sparks between them, Peter is adamant that he won't risk his career by having a relationship with a coworker. Over the following years, the two become best friends. When filming wraps up, the two have to decide - is a future together possible for them?
I really adored this one! I loved the body positivity and the way that fatness was approached. I was absolutely obsessed with Maria and loved her standards for how she deserves to be treated in a relationship. This was really lovely and left me feeling more confident in my own skin. I especially loved that this was a romance between two fat characters who found each other physically irresistible. It's hard to find a romance novel with both characters being fat! The only thing I struggled with is that, while this is a third in a series, it was marketed as a standalone. There was a lot of discussion of other characters and events with minimal description that I imagine would have meant more to me if I had read the earlier books. The pacing was also kind of confusing, with time jumps that could be difficult to follow.
All in all, I enjoyed this one immensely! I will definitely be going back and reading the earlier books in the series.
Thanks so much to Olivia Dade and Avon and Harper Voyager for this ARC through NetGalley. Ship Wrecked is available now!

I really want to like this author and her writing but we just do not mesh well. And that makes me very sad because I want to read book with big rep in them because I feel seen in them. But the writing style from this one is different from the previous book I've read from her and the povs where messing with my tiny brain. I may try and pick this novel up again the future.

The smut in this was TOP MF TIER let me start with that. I went into this book blind and sheesh I was not disappointed. With that being said, I’m rating this 3 stars only because I feel like some of the chapters just kept going on. I also love the body positivity rep that’s in this book. Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with this ARC in exchange for my honest review!

This was my favorite book so far in this series. I am a sucker for enemy to lovers and grumpy sunshine even though this was more grumpy and grumpy. This book follows Maria and Peter as they land a part on the biggest tv show. This show is similar to a game of thrones style show so tons of cons ,fan fiction and nerdy stuff ensue. Overall I thought this book was cute and entertains I really loved Maria she was smart , no nonsense and so witty. The combination of her and quiet grumpy Peter just made this so much fun to read. The other books in this series haven’t been my favorite so happy I picked this one up. I would like to thank Netgalley and the publishers for a chance to read this book for an honest review.

I loved the characters and their sentimental story. The sexual tension was REAL. Such a satisfying end to the series

I have not read any other books by this author, and with this book being the third in the series, I was wondering if it could work as a standalone or if I needed to read the first two books to be able to get into this one. My assumptions were correct and I found myself not connecting with Peter or Maria. I wasn't terribly invested in either of their stories, and I wasn't curious enough to keep reading, so I DNF this book at 21%. I could somewhat relate to Peter and his introversion coupled with his social awkwardness and self awareness of it all, and that is what kept me reading to the 21% mark. I think the premise of this book is cute, but since I don't have the background from the first two books, I felt like it didn't really matter to me what happens to these characters. I would recommend this book to people, but I would advise them to start at the beginning of the series rather than starting with this book.

Loved this book! It's always great having larger protagonists, which is one of my fav things about this series. Her confidence was probably the best thing about this book. This one felt a little different from the rest of the series, because it sort of takes place at the same time as the others, but not in the same place. Would have been cute to have more of the original characters popping in.

When I originally request this ARC I didn’t realize it was the third book in the series. You can definitely read as a stand alone book. The 2nd book was my favorite in the series. I felt that Ship Wrecked dragged on. The characters failed to communicate with each other and I just couldn’t relate or connect to them due to the lack of character development. Thank you NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

3.5 rounded up
Ship Racked by Olivia Dade was a delightful and steamy romance that had me hooked from the first page. The premise of two people who find themselves stranded on a deserted island and falling in love was both intriguing and unique. The characters were well-developed, likable, and had great chemistry. The writing was engaging and descriptive, and I loved how the author used the island setting to create tension and build the romance between the main characters. Additionally, I appreciated the diversity and inclusivity of the characters, which added depth and richness to the story. The only reason I'm not giving this book a five-star review is that I felt the resolution was a bit too neat and tidy, and I would have liked to see more development of some of the secondary characters. However, overall, I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a well-written and steamy romance with a unique twist.

Speaking of authors I love, I adore Olivia Dade. I really can't tell you why I put off reading Ship Wrecked because I knew I was going to love it. And I did love it! How could I not? Peter and Maria are so... I don't even really know how to explain their character development. It's just so, so well done. Maria is so strong and confident and sure of herself. And Peter is so rigid and really believes that there is one path forward and has an abundance of respect (fear?) for authority figures. Their dynamic together is dynamite and I really, really loved it. If I had one criticism, it would be that at times it almost felt like the book was paced too slowly and I hated the third act conflict (when do I not these days?), but all in all, this book was marvelous and I'm so delighted by my pre-order cover edition that I just want to hug it and squeal all the time.
Essentially, the plot of this book is that Peter and Maria have a one-night stand together and then Maria slips away before Peter wakes up. But then Peter and Maria are cast as opposites on a Game of Thrones inspired show. The two of them are to act opposite one another for potentially years and it takes a bit for them to get over the past meeting, but it is so so good when it finally happens. I love them. Oh, and did I mention they're both fat? I loved that. I really cannot wait to see what Olivia Dade is doing next. Should I know that already? If so, someone remind me because I don't remember.

I would read Olivia Dade's grocery lists if given the chance. A great entry to the world of Spoiler Alert and All the Feels.

I love Olivia Dade's books. She has such good fat rep, and I always know I'm going to laugh and have a good time along with the fat woman.

I loved this so much, it was everything I was looking for in a fun romcom. It was cute, the characters were lovable, and the cover is so adorable!

I loved the fat representation in this book, but so much of it just didn't work for me. The excessive time skips, not showing enough of Maria and Peter starting to like each other after their fallout at the beginning, and the seemingly drastic change in their personalities: Peter from awkward and anxious to suave and confident, and Maria from sure of her self to insecure. And I hated the six year time jump.

This was so amazing! It was so cute and had the perfect amount of angst and talking through things and I can't even it was so good. I staid up until 2 in the morning to finish because I couldn't wait to know how it ended. Perfectly paced you fall in love with the characters immediately.

DNF - I just got so bored with this one. I was excited because the characters seem really interesting but the plot was not intriguing to me whatsoever. I think books about celebrities or acting are my least favorite 😩

Maria and Peter lead this book with such grace and love that it makes it an amazing read. It’s cute, funny and so perfect. Maria and Peter learning to work and live together is beautiful. It makes me want to travel to all these places and enjoy them. I loved it.
