This is the third book I’ve read and they just keep getting better! I absolutely adore Seth. This book was definitely a favorite of mine.
One In A Billion is the third book in the Pierce Brothers series by Belinda Williams. I will always snap up a copy of any of Belinda Williams’ stories as they release because she never fails to deliver a very entertaining read. I have enjoyed all her books, so far, and this story was no exception. This one also turned out to be one of my favourite reads from her (to date). This is a seriously fun romantic comedy, a ‘billionaire’ romance- with humour, banter, chemistry, and just enough tension to keep things interesting. A notoriously private tech billionaire. A determined journalist on the hunt for a career saving story….. and a tempting offer that can’t be passed up, all make for a really fun read! Another captivating story in this superb series!
Business journalist Victoria needs an exclusive interview with publicity-shy tech billionaire Seth Pierce in order to secure a promotion. Through a series of misrepresentations, she winds up moonlighting on the side as his media adviser, all while both of them are trying to ignore those certain fluttering feelings.
Victoria and Seth are characters you'd want to be friends with. Refreshingly for a 'billionaire' I also like that Williams chose to make him personable and not the arrogant arsehole that is the standard characterisation of most billionaire romance novels.
A welcome appearance was also Seth's brothers and their partners. I also enjoyed side characters such as Pip and plot developments with her which was a nice surprise (normally not a trope I like and would DNF because of it, but the unique spin on it was a clever twist).
However, I do though take issue with the author's hamfisted idea of feminism which irked me. Choice is not the definition of feminism; its the economic, social, political liberation of women. Seth hiring all women is not being feminist, it's just hiring all women. (And women are also just as much the agents of the patriarchy, too!). Just because someone labels something as feminist doesn't mean it is.
This is the third in Belinda Williams' Pierce Brothers series. Like the previous two books, these are are carefree, fun and easy reads. Best enjoyed with a comfy chair and a hot beverage.
Thanks to BWrite and NetGalley for the ARC. My sincerest apologies for taking a year (:/) to publish this review.
I really enjoyed this book. It was very well written, easy to read, with a set of engaging characters and a palpable budding romance. The chemistry was burning off the page!!
An easy read cheesy romance is sometimes all we need! Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and review this title.
Cute contemporary romance with lots of steam. I didn't realize this was part of a series, but I would like to check out more from this author.
This quick and easy romance read was enjoyable. Seth and Victoria have a will they won’t they held back by Victoria’s fear of a workplace romance. I loved the side-story about Pip and Sadie which felt very wholesome. There was a little bit of smut but not too smutty if that’s not your thing!
I really enjoyed this book. It was very well written, easy to read (which I love in a romance!) and I really really enjoyed the characters, their growth and especially the budding romance. The chemistry was so well written and I was swooning and pining with them. I read this without having read books one and two, will get to that now, though!
This book was a super easy read that I managed to finish in the space of an afternoon. This book, despite being the third book in a series, is a standalone novel that was super easy to get into. Definitely do not have to have read the first two books to enjoy this one, because I didn't. The relationships between characters were sweet and well developed. Really liked the chemistry and growth between Seth and Victoria. Amy and Pip are also excellent friends and I definitely want to read Amy and Noah's story, because I liked Amy so much. All in all, I enjoyed this read! 3.5 rounded down.
This is the third book in this romance series about 4 brothers but this is the only one I've read and its perfect as a standalone.
I really enjoyed this nice easy read, and I loved that it was about a billionaire in Australia for a change. Not much of a steamy read but I loved the banter and how the characters developed.
Thanks to B Write Publishing and Netgalley.com for this complimentary eARC copy.

The relationships between characters were sweet and well developed. Really liked the chemistry between Seth and Victoria. Amy and Pip are also excellent friends and I will definitely want to read Amy and Noah's story, because Amy was such a likeable character.
Some lines in this book bugged me a little and for a book pushing the feminist aspect, those parts were quite unfeminist.
All in all though, just a very lighthearted read. Thank you to Netgalley for an eARC of this book in exchange of an honest review.
A charming little romance story. I hadn't read either of the first two books in the series but I didn't have any issues picking this one right up. The characters are written well and had great chemistry from the beginning. This book was a really quick read for me, which is exactly how rom-coms are supposed to go! I also enjoyed the good balance between the character development and writing. Definitely recommend for those who enjoy authors such as Abby Jimenez, Emily Henry, and Helena Hunting.
I liked a lot the relationship between Seth and Pip and between Victoria and Amy. Since this is a series about brothers in the same family, I expected to see them have a bigger role in the story and I was sad when it didn’t happen. I’m looking forward to reading Amy and Noah’s story! In general, this was a quick, fun and enjoyable experience so don’t miss the chance to read it
Another great book! I love the style of writing by Belinda Williams and really enjoyed her previous book. (I stil have to read the 1th book about these brothers and it is already on my bookshelf, but because you can read this book also as a stand alone in a serie it doesn’t botter. Again this book contains a strong woman, a handsome Guy and the story how they end up together. If you love funny well written love stories this again is a must read!
This was my typical cutesy romance read and I loved it. The banter between the main characters was off the charts and really helped me fall in love with them romantically. They had so much chemistry and sexual tension. It was a quick book but I enjoyed it all. This is a standalone book, and the whole series is a standalone so you don't have to have read the first two books to read this one.
This fun romcom. I love that this is told in dual POV , not something I see a lot in this kind of book.

One in A Billion is a quick and easy read and one that will delight the senses as sparks fly. So, kick back with a drink and a few hours of quiet time and enjoy the story.
This is my first read from this author and this book convinced me to read more from her.
I loved this book a lot. I am biased to shy nerdy guys , Seth was not shy but he filled the Hot Nerd role perfectly. I loved when he transformed in an Alpha at some places.
Victoria has my heart.. I would even say she was the first FMC that I LOVED after a very long time. I have read many novels before this one but recently, no FMC has won me over as much as Victoria. How much in control she was.. She didn't just swoon and fell over for the hot guy but held her ground. I admired her a lot.
I gravitate towards the MMCs more but in this one, I loved the FMC more.
Even though the story was a bit closed-door, it didn't need the smut to make it an amazing book. I adored this feature of the book. Being a journalism student myself, I cherished that aspect of the book.
One In A Billion is the third book in the series, Pierce Brothers, and this one's about the second eldest, Seth Pierce and Veronica Verity. Veronica is a journalist and was one of the candidates for a promotion, unfortunately, the subject she had in mind for her piece is extremely private and doesn't do much interviews. So, she changes her strategy and goes to his office to personally ask for an interview, but the receptionist mistakes her for someone else who was coming in for a job interview, and Victoria ran with it. Let's just say, he found out who she really was after an intensive search and appointed her as his media adviser.
I really liked the portrayal of the characters. I liked how Victoria is not afraid to take risks, which is obvious when she makes a deal with herself wherein if she doesn't get the promotion by the time she turns 30 then she'll quit her job. I also like how down-to-earth and easy-going Seth is. The portrayal of the characters were good, too. Amy was cool and a loyal friend. Pip was a really cool girlfriend, too.
Overall, I liked the book. It's a light and fast read. Although some parts could be improved, it's still a nice book.
I thought this story was adorable. Victoria and Seth had great chemistry from the get-go but circumstances were standing in their way. I liked that both of them were straightforward about their feelings and priorities, even if they weren’t honest about absolutely everything. The story had good balance between character development and plot, and the writing was great. I think some people could be put off by the power dynamic but to me, Seth and Victoria were evenly matched in that way. I actually liked that they didn’t get together immediately. It made the story more genuine in that it matched the MCs personalities.
***Thank you to NetGalley, BWrite and Belinda Williams. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. All opinions are my own.***
Belinda Williams has authored another fun and exciting novel with One In A Billion, the third book from her Pierce Brothers series. This slow-burn romance is quite engaging and I especially enjoyed the evolution of all the characters. The story takes place in the land down under, specifically Sydney, and the descriptive settings truly provide the reader with a genuine appreciation of the harbor.
Journalist Victoria Verity wants more out of her career. She has been working in the same position for an on-line magazine for a number of years, and has high hopes of being promoted to the department head position. A story about self-made billionaire Seth Pierce almost guarantees her the promotion, however, Seth is a very private entrepreneur. Luckily, Victoria not only gets the story, Seth hires her to be his personal media consultant.
Seth's brains, wealth and failed former relationship has caused him to be quite leary of true love. He is a man full of goodness and goes out of his way to help those he cares about. Seth is an amazing CEO and his employees truly enjoy working for him. Meeting Victoria and spending time with her changes his attitude about love.
I enjoyed this book as well as many others by Ms. Williams. The romance between Victoria and Seth slowly sizzles and its culmination is very hot. I liked getting to know them as well as their friends and colleagues. Ms. Williams writes with a very clear voice and she balances the many happenings with the greatest of ease. Overall, this is a nicely written story with main characters that are easy to fall in love with.
