I really enjoyed One in a Billion by Belinda Williams. A true heartening story about a woman falling in love with a Billionaire. Even though the concept of a billionaire is so outlandish, the author really grounded the characters in their every day issues and relationships. The best part of this story was the characters and their struggles. Everyone was so human and relatable. It was a truly enjoyable book and I cannot wait to read more by Belinda Williams
A great fun book to read for those who love billionaire romances
MAKING A DEAL WITH A BILLIONAIRE IS RISKY BUSINESS...
Victoria Verity is on a deadline. Soon she’ll be thirty and out of a job unless she can turn her journalism career around by gaining an exclusive interview with Australia’s newest tech billionaire. Except there’s one small hitch—he’s notoriously private.
Seth Pierce hates people making a big deal about his billionaire status, but he knows it’s time to appoint a media adviser. When the perfect candidate walks into his office for all the wrong reasons, Seth is determined to make her an offer she can’t refuse.
Victoria will do anything to land the story, but she draws the line at mixing business with pleasure. Only she’s about to discover that billionaires don’t give up easily. Especially when they’ve found something—or someone—they want . . .
One In A Billion is the third book in the Pierce Brothers series. Each book can be read as a stand alone and features four brothers who are as equally nice as they are naughty.
I had high hopes of connecting with the characters but I struggled a bit.
The first chapter had me scratching my head because In the beginning because Victoria wore a pant suit when meeting seth for the first time, but ended up with a skirt somehow.
I adored their personalities, but I didn't feel any angst or want as much as I was hoping.
I enjoyed how snippets of Seth's family came into the book and the spice at the end was very nice!
The story of Verity and Seth. They meet when she is pretending to be someone she is not. What will happen when he uncovers the truth?
A great read - I like how it is told from both points of view.
After reading the first two parts of the Pierce Brothers series, of course I had to request the third part as well.
When Mr Nice Guy was okayish, I preferred Spoilsport. However, although Seth had made his appearances in the previous books, it wasn’t very much. So in One In A Billion we kind of meet Seth for the first time. And Victoria as well. Who is hilarious.
So, same as with Spoilsport, this story is cute, funny and rom-com. A very relaxing read. If I compare the three books, I still think that Spoilsport is the best of the three. But this one is definitely second to it. Whereas Tom and Luke are more down to earth guys, Seth is a billionaire (which I found a bit strange: if you are a multibillionaire, won’t you share it with your family?). So the scenery is totally different from the first two books. But Victoria is definitely the shining star in this book. She is feisty, funny and ambitious. You gotta love her!
But will Seth love her? Find out for yourself in this cute and funny rom-com story. And I’m very curious to the last of the Pierce Brothers’ stories. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.
This was such a great story.. A couple that you can instantly feel the sparks fly between them. And with the desire for each other love is bound to happen. Falling in love has neve been so easy.
Many thanks to NetGalley for allowing me to have an ARC of the novel "One in a Billion" by Belinda Williams!
This was a quick & easy read for me, and it is easily rated a 4-star read for me! It tells the story of Victoria, who is nearing the age of 30 and is a journalist, hoping to sneak in an interview with Seth, a famous billionaire of Australia, where they reside. She pretends to be a woman named Kim, who he is supposed to be interviewing for a personal assistant position and winds up being his media publicist instead.
Seth takes an instant liking to Victoria, but because she is not keen on the idea of dating a client, he does everything in his power to try and help her - even to go so far as to set her up with a friend of his, named Evan. She is used to this because her best friend Amy is always trying to set her up on dates with eligible bachelors ever since her and Quentin broke up awhile back.
There is so much more to enjoy in this book as well, but I don't want to give away any spoilers!
On a side note, here in the US, Tori is absolutely viewed as a nickname for Victoria, and it's actually pretty common - it must not be the same in Australia though, as the author makes mention of it a few different times.
Upon reading the first few pages I thought this book was going to go the way of many other romance novels I have read before, but it surprised me. It quickly veers of the path of those previous books and makes it’s own way. I found the story line to be engaging and the characters likable. This book was an easy, quick read with a bit of steam and felt much shorter to read then it actually was. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thought and opinions are my own. Thanks to @netgally and @victoryeditingngc for an advanced copy. Pub date 6/20/2022
I love when the chemistry is tangible and it definitely jumps off the page in One in a Billion. In this vanilla love story you will absolutely enjoy the development of the relationship. Lighthearted and funny, you’ll enjoy the supporting cast as well. A fun, quick read!

I would firstly just like to say a big thank you to NetGalley who very kindly forwarded me an arc copy of this book, for my Kindle, in return for my honest review.
One In A Billion is book three from the Pierce Brothers series but can very easily be read as a stand alone with no problems at all. This was actually the first book that I had read from this series but now I am definitely going back and reading all the others and I absolutely cannot wait for the next instalment, all about Noah!!
Victoria Verity is a journalist on a deadline and if she doesn’t get a promotion before her 30th birthday then she is going to quit… her one big chance is scoring an exclusive interview with the gorgeous Seth Pierce - a young tech billionaire who likes to keep himself to himself.
I absolutely loved both Seth and Victoria, they worked so well together and the chemistry between them was amazing and I loved it!
The story was told from a dual POV and I do love this way of telling a story.
Once I had started this book i just couldn’t stop reading it and it was full of romance, funny moments and a little sprinkling of sauce too!
I will most certainly be coming back for more from this author as I love her writing style and the wonderful characters that she creates…..
A self-imposed deadline of her thirtieth birthday has Victoria stepping up her game in order to get an interview with IT genius Seth Pierce. Hoping that this will be the article to land her the promotion she has been in line for. However, she is prepared to give up the security of a permanent position if she doesn’t land the role. Taking an opportunity to turn up at his offices she is able to get an interview with him after a case of mistaken identity but it’s not a media interview, it’s a job interview.
Whilst Seth may have just broken into the billionaire category he does not want this to be the first thing people say about him. A media recluse he is happy for his business partner Byron to be in the spotlight but when a journalist becomes a contender for his PA position he decides now is the time for a personal media plan and hires her as a freelance consultant and agrees to the interview she wants.
Attracted to each other, Victoria attempts to keep things professional, especially as he has been dating Pip for almost four years. But when Seth attempts to tell Victoria that their relationship isn’t what it seems he leaves her thinking that he and Pip have an open relationship. Finding ways to be together their connection grows but as revelations are made public and her birthday arrives, Victoria has some big decisions to make.
This is the first time I have read any of belinda's books but when I read the synopsis I knew it was up my street ! This book is the third in the Pierce brothers series however this is a perfect stand alone as I never got confused in regards to the characters which I know confusion happen with some books that are part of series which advertise that they are standalones.
This is a cute workplace/billionaire romance between kind of employee (don't want to give away too much of the plot) and boss. Victoria and Seth are so relatable and also likeable which makes this a easy read on one sitting read. I loved that we got to see everything through both Victorias and Seth's point of view, especially with the situations which they are going through throughout the book
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book was whimsical and a fun read. The chemistry between Seth and Victoria is amazing and makes this book a page turner.
After reading the book description of this book, I could not resist reading the book. A cute romance budding in the work environment with a friends-to-lovers element to it? Yes please sign me up!
The chemistry between Victoria and Seth was immediately there from their first meeting towards the start of the book. We got to see them become colleagues, then friends, and finally move towards the lovers' stage. Victoria and Seth just match so perfectly with each other and just clicked really well. I love how compared to most stories with a CEO male character, Seth was not portrayed in the usual moody, closed-off, and arrogant way. He was portrayed with a mix of easy-going and approachable but also gets business done when it's needed.
The whole book itself was the perfect mix of tension, romance, friendship, pining, and passion. From the start, the story flowed really smoothly, it felt easy to read and to get swept away with all things Victoria and Seth. Which for me helped make it an enjoyable book to read, one which took me a day to finish. I cannot wait to read more from Belinda Williams moving forward!
Very thankful to have received an eARC of One in A Billion through NetGalley and BWrite.

was a cute and easy read! Victoria and Seth were lovable and relatable. Cute and funny banter between them. I really enjoyed the dual pov as well. A very enjoyable read! I look forward to reading the others in this series!
Thank you to NetGalley and BWrite for this arc!
Thank you to NetGalley and Bwrite for the advanced copy of this book! One in a Billion is a cheeky, albeit slightly cheesy, romcom that is fun and lighthearted,. We follow Victoria, a journalist on the cusp of her 30th birthday looking to grow in her career. One the precipice of a promotion, Victoria is challenged to profile someone in Business who inspires her, and she chooses to shine a light on the notoriously private and uber wealthy Seth Pierce. What starts as a scheming con to get in front of Seth, Victoria is hired as a consultant to build out Seth's personal brand. What she doesn't expect is that digging in to know the real Seth Pierce is surprising and catches her off guard. This book is a quick, light read and I finished it fast! I'll definitely stay on the lookout for more of Williams' writing for when I need a quick fun book.
I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. Cute story, a little cheesy and a bit unrealistic. If you are looking for a fast and easy read this is perfect for you.
The story
Seth is a young entrepreneur who shies away from the limelight even though he’s a recent billionaire. Victoria needs to snag an interview with him to stand a chance of getting that promotion. But when the receptionist thinks she is there to interview to be his PA, she gets her chance to meet Seth. He is smitten, but now he can’t find her!
My thoughts
This is book three about the charming Pierce brothers finding love. I really enjoyed the plot and writing in this one! I loved that the things Seth liked about Victoria were her grace and poise, and that he was attracted to her competence. This is a fun read but the principles that both main characters stand for give this story charm.
A hot, loveable Australian tech billionaire and a witty, dedicated female journalist?! I mean, SAY NO MORE! One In A Billion was such a fun, sweet, easy read!
Victoria Verity is a journalist with a personal deadline... get the promotion at her job by her 30th birthday or quit. With the deadline looming she needs to score an exclusive interview with the notoriously private tech billionaire Seth Pierce and she'll do something risky to get the story! Seth hates people making a big deal about his billionaire status but with the push of his work colleagues he knows its now time to get in the lime light and hire a media adviser.
Seth and Victoria were fun and easy to love characters and I really enjoyed the dual POV in this book. I love having the male POV especially when he is as amazing as SETH! The banter between the two MCs was funny and enjoyable.
One In A Billion is the third installment of the Pierce Brothers series which are all stand alone books but do have a cross over of characters. This was the first book I've read of this series and I look forward to reading the rest of them and the future Pierce brother book which is coming out this year.
Thank you so much to Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op and author Belinda Williams for the eARC of One In A Billion in exchange for an honest review.
