I'm gonna start saying that I wasn't expect enjoying this book so much.
This book was literally so funny and cute.
1st you have January a social media Queen and daughter of a hotel mogul. All her life goes around as to show how "perfect" it's her life. Untill the Day she mets Enrinque her New driver. Their relationship starts whith full of banter and jokes, while he drives the socialite everywhere and that's how he start seeing January for her, and as people say the rest is history.
What I enjoy so much was the mexican part of Enrique family, his and my dad has the same name, and his Sister has the name that my dad would have gave me if my mom haven't used her chancla.
Anyways thanks NetGalley and Gigi Blume for this ARC, I really enjoyed the book so much.
This a cute little romance! At first I wasn’t really a January fan, but as the book went on she grew on me! And I thought she great character development through out the book!
Enquire was super funny and I loved his chapter the inner dialog had me laughing so hard! I loved his family too, I do believe this is the first in a series for the bothers and the author did a great job of giving us info and getting to know the other members of his family.
His sister Francesca was my favourite! The romance in this was Pg only kissing but they where sensual and greatly written, and the last part where they are in Mexico was so sweet, i definitely enjoyed this and it would of got a solid 4 stars if the romance went more than kisses!
I had fun reading!
Thank you NetGalley and Sodasac Press for providing me an arc in exchange for an honest review.
REVIEW: It was ok. I liked it, but I felt like something was missing. January and Enrique had chemistry and I enjoyed the jokes, but the end it was quick, like “I just want to finish this”.
I had fun with the Precio brothers.
And I liked January at the end, but I didn´t felt the changed in the story, it was suddenly that way.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I'm a big fan of the representation in this book. A really great natural integration of a Spanish-speaking family.
I think the story was unique and funny.
I would've liked their connection to flow a little better, but I do really enjoy their little moments of chemistry.
I enjoyed this one a lot. An original and fun romantic comedy.
Here's the thing, I love the premise of this book. It's giving "It Happened One Summer" vibes, with a spoiled rich girl (January) meets a gruff guy (Enrique) and cue the tension.
But, unfortunately, the execution of this story just wasn't there. I wanted to love every second of it, but I couldn't. It seemed rushed. It was insinuated that January showed a lot of growth in her character, but we barely saw surface level anyways. I found myself more interested in the Percio Family dynamic instead, which I know is part of the play here because the author intends for it to be a series following the Percio brothers, but I wanted more of that family than I did the fmc.
Like I said, I wanted to love it, but couldn't. 2.5 🌟
Thank you to NetGalley, Sodasac Press, and Gigi Blume for the opportunity to read and review this book!
This was a fun and flirty read from start to finish. The Hating Game meets Paris Hilton in this enemies to lovers romcom. A few other classic romcom elements are sprinkled in such as over protective guy, only one bed, but it is all in a fun and unpredictable way. It had enough sparks and sexual tension that you don’t miss the sex.
I loved the cover, title and general plot, I just didn't vibe with the writing. I wasn't a fan of the fmc's "voice". Her inner dialogue and general personality just bothered me and i quickly lost interest.
Thank you for the ARC!
Unfortunately, I had to DNF this book. I found the writing extremely cheesy - even for a rom-com. I need fleshed out characters who make me feel like there's really something to root for. I unfortunately didn't feel that way here.
Give this book all the stars and take my money. I felt like I was there and I loved it all.
Enrique and his loud, larger than life family are amazing, realistic, and unique. January's only child existence is a harsh contrast. In the most beautiful way these two find themselves fighting an attraction they worry shouldn't be but when it finally happens it is perfection. I would give this book more stars if I could. I am now officially in love with it.
January and Enrique are delightfully funny from their witty nicknames to their endearing pranks. The relationship was just the right amount of "we shouldn’t" mixed in with "but we have to" and I loved every second. The whole Precio crew has my heart.
The Hate Zone is up there among my favourite books. I am honored to have been given an advance copy of this book for review.
Enrique thought he was going to drive around an executive. Wrong, He is driving around the daughter. January comes across as spoiled and annoying, She is always dealing with an ex who is out for media attention and a psycho ex-bodyguard. It is hate at first sight for these two as they engage in hilarious banter and pranks.
My favorite part of this book was the banter between Enrique and January. They were non-stop laughs from the time they hated each other until the end, including the time that they didn't hate each other. The scene with the chickens in the bedroom and what resulted was golden. I loved Enrique's family, but there was a lot of time spent on his family that could have been spent on developing the plot of the book revolving around the ex and the bodyguard. I feel like those were dropped in for drama and not really developed.
Overall, a good read! Thanks to NetGalley and Sodasac Press for my advanced copy! I voluntarily read and reviewed this advanced copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This book was a huge NO for me. It sounded like a straightforward enemies to lovers story, but it honestly felt like a one note reality trash tv show. Enrique truly has a horrible customer service that the writing wanted the audience to believe was sexual innuendo. January is the typical spoiled princess that entire’s life was to prove that she wasn’t. Enrique loves cars; January loves Yorkies, and somehow that’s enough for them to realize they’re in love with one another.
Needless to say, I will not be reading anything from this series in the future.

Sometimes a heavy heart needs a little time spent in the fun zone, and Gigi Blume certainly delivered this in bursts and all the good vibes with this laugh out loud romantic comedy!
January and Enrique were the perfect tease, and I loved the banter and sparring between them, their forbidden temptations a delight as these opposites attracted. I enjoyed the clash of both worlds and the chaos of it all, and seeing how perfectly January fit into the Precio family warmed my heart. There’s just something about the love and energy of these big family’s that I can’t get enough of!
Blume’s style and voice had a casual buoyancy to it that made for an easy read and delivered an extra spark to the personalities upon the page, and the weaving of Enrique’s Mexican roots, and January’s French connections was an extra treat. The only thing that I did miss was having an opportunity to get to know these two a little deeper beyond their interests and family dynamics.
This was a light, fun, feel-good read perfect for the summer! A closed door romance with a bit of flirty banter and cheeky innuendo’s, this is perfect for readers wanting to enjoy the sun and good times without that extra heat ☀️
Thank you NetGalley, Sodasac Press, and the author for the advanced copy of this read and for allowing me to share my honest review.
I read the first novella version of this story last year, so I was a little concerned I’d feel like this was a repeat, but it really didn’t. The Hate Zone is much longer and the characters are more developed than in the novella, so it felt more like getting to know a friend better, not like rereading the exact same book. This story is fun, silly and sweet. I’m looking forward to the whole series about these brothers!

I honestly don't know where to start. I read Messy Love in anticipation for this one and I am so glad I did because it was a great way to meet the Precio family. And once you do, buckle up. It gets nuts. In a hilarious kind of way.
If you like steamy kisses, enemies to more, chickens, puppies, misunderstandings, silly nicknames, big crazy families and some laughter, get this book.
I enjoyed this closed door enemies to lovers romcom! I especially enjoyed the banter between the characters! I love the family dynamics between the Precios! I can't wait to see what comes next in the series!
*note- contains innuendos and PG-13 interactions
I received an ARC through Netgalley and all opinions are my own.
The Hate Zone by Gigi Blume
⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
This was a humorous, closed-door rom com that didn’t lack any tension or angst. The hate to love trope is not my favorite, and I had a little bit of trouble getting on board with the characters, but the second half of the book brought a little redemption for me.
I have found that I don’t always love a celebrity character or the average joe+celebrity/star-crossed lovers trope. Especially when the celebrity star is presented in a poor light. I felt like the personalities of the characters in the first half of the book were completely different from the second half of the book, so it was a little confusing.
Overall, I enjoyed some of the banter and humor in the plot and I liked the characters in the second half of the book. I wished for a little more plot and a little more story between the characters, but it ended on a good note.
This book gave me some serious non-steamy It Happened One Summer vibes mixed with When in Rome vibes.
Perfect for you if you like:
Hate to love
Celebrity MC
Closed door with ample angst
👍🏻 Clean with no language
🌶 Closed door, but some innuendo and kissing

"His kiss is everything comforting and beautiful."
Definitely a cute book but was not as cutesy/steamy romantic as I had hoped! Enrique ends up being a chauffeur for a rich girl, January Madison and he immediately falls for her beauty. He struggles to work with her daily without flirting, especially when she's starting the banter with him.
When all hell breaks loose and she can't go home because of paparazzi, he takes her home to his family to hide her while things die down.
I kept waiting for a steamy romance scene and I never got to one and I think that's the only downfall of the entire book I had. If you want a more PG romance this is definitely for you!
The Hate Zone was a fun, easy, and light read! I loved Enrique and January! Their antics are cute, sometimes hilarious, and I love the easy banter between them. This book is a slow-burn but Enrique and January's chemistry is present and strong from their meeting and it just grows as this book goes on!
Because of the blurb, I expected a bigger prank war, but instead, it felt like a small part of the book. However, the pranks were hilarious and I loved how they handled them since that was fresh and new in terms of a prank war!
This book is clean with no steamy scenes besides kissing and fooling around. I got a religious vibe as if that's why it didn't go any further and I wasn't a massive fan of that, but it didn't make or break the book for me!
I really really love everything about this book! By reading only the first paragraph I already knew I’m gonna love it and I DID! Never a dull moment. From their cute pranks to the puppies and chickens 😂😂😂 up to the adorable Precio family. One of the funniest and cutest RomComs I’ve ever read. Highly recommended 💯
