As someone very familiar with Bletchley Park, it was good to read a story by an author who's obviously been there. A nice festive read with great characters and a good story.
This was a beautifully told festive read which really encompassed the spirit of Bletchley Park. I really enjoyed this one for all the intricate details and the tale of spy-craft being interwoven with this beautiful tale, plus I really liked learning more about what it was like for women at Bletchley. I'd definitely recommend to any historical fiction fans.
A very enjoyable read. I’ve been getting in to wartime fiction a lot recently and this didn’t disappoint
An amazing as sweet romance at the heart of WWII. I hope to read more from this author in the future! Molly Green is great.
And this is why I love historical fiction because of books like this. It's heartbreaking, gripping, entertaining and educational. Though it can be read as a standalone I wish I had read the first book.
I really found this book this book interesting.
We start with Rosie getting married but circumstances happen and she doesn’t marry Hugo. Rosie decides she needs to help the War effort so she joins WRNS but is dismissed. She ends up at Bletchley Park where she ends up meeting Hugo again. Will they end up together or not?
I liked the characters and found it fascinating what they did at Bletchley Park.
Well written and how the woman civilians were treated to how the woman who were in the forces.
Many thanx to NetGalley, the author and publisher for allowing me to read and review this book.
Another good read from this author although I felt it a little slow to start. Most of the characters and scenarios were believable, I found that the relationship between the 2 main characters at the start of the book was a little strange, to say the least!
A different take on a WW2 story which was informative and entertaining.
As with her previous series The Victory Sisters, this series is focusing on a different character with each book. The first followed Dale's story and this time round is her friend Rosie.
Stood up on her wedding day when she was 17, Rosemary Frost (Rosie) longs to join the WRENS however fate would have it, after a friend of hers has word in the right ears, that her war efforts would see her working alongside Dale at Bletchley Park. It seems Rosie is fluent in Italian and is a dab hand at maths - both of which work in her favour with her newfound position.
As luck would have it, just as she is getting used to her new normal and getting comfortable, the new Lieutenant Commander is introduced - Hugo Garfield, a face from Rosie's past. Fighting her feelings for this man she thought she would never see again, Rosie sets to focusing on the job at hand but her skills are questioned and so she tries to move past that by moving to another hut and making new friends.
But the past has a way of catching up with you...Can Rosie put it behind her without it ruining her job?
A WINTER WEDDING AT BLETCHLEY PARK is naturally predictable but an enjoyable read all the same. I love Molly Green's easy reading style, making the story come alive and immersing the reader into another time and place. She brings fact into fiction without bogging us down with history. I love the steady pace and the heartwarming story that kept me reading until the very last page.
Overall, an enjoyable heartwarming read and I look forward to the next in the series.
I would like to thank #MollyGreen, #Netgalley and #AvonBooksUK for an ARC of #AWinterWeddingAtBletchleyPark in exchange for an honest review.

Loved the second book in the series. It has a brief crossover with the first book. But it's not necessary to read that one. Loved the relationship between Rosie and Poppy. What a tough choice Rosie had!
I am fascinated by the work that went on at Bletchley Park during WW2. The title of this book caught my eye immediately. I love the dedication at the beginning to those, especially women, who served without understanding their contribution at Bletchley Park.
Rosie wants to do her part for the war effort and ends up at the highly secretive Bletchley Park only to encounter someone from her past that she never thought she would see again.
This book was well-written. I was drawn into the story immediately. I really cared about the characters. I was a little disappointed that the action doesn't move to Bletchley until 100 pages into the story, but the focus of the story was Rosie not B.P., I would have preferred more of a historical fiction than a romance, but that is just my own preference.
I particularly enjoyed learning a little bit about what it was like for women at Bletchley Park during WW2.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Rosie and Hugo were meant to be together but life took control. Six years later Rosie had changed beyond recognition but who does she bump into. Is it too late. Are they both different people. Have too many things happened to both of them during the war years. A true love story.
What a lovely follow up book this was to the first one - you don’t need to have read it other than so you’re familiar with the set up at Bletchley Park. Book 2 has great characters you can get into and a very enjoyable storyline.
A fabulous second novel in the Bletchley Park series by Molly Green.
Rosieis jilted at the altar at 17. When she thinks life can't get any worse than that, war breaks out. Six years later she signs up to help with the war effort but is unceremoniously sacked when they discover she has a secret. However her skills lead her to a job at Bletchley Park, where she meets a familiar face. Can she get through her past to make her future?
An easy read, that works well as a standalone. The reader does meet characters from the first book again, but this story doesn't rely on them having previous knowledge.
I do enjoy these books and this one I read in one sitting. The characters are all so friendly and helpful. Putting on a brave face during very difficult times. More please from this author. My thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for giving me the opportunity to read this book in return for an honest review.
I love any books set at Bletchley Park during WW2 and this one didn’t disappoint. A lovely story with a good family feel, a love story gone wrong and a determined young lady. You won’t be able to put it down.
I hope there will be more books in this series as both of them so far have been great. Having been to Bletchley Park it makes it easier to picture the place and of course what happened there. If you haven't been I would recommend a visit. Love, heartbreak and love again, it is what makes the world go round even in times of war. I highly recommend you read this. 5 stars
Thanks to Netgalley and publisher for this ARC
Love and duty in World War II.
I can’t help it! Anything to do with Bletchley Park grabs me. A place of secrets and mystery. The British War machine well and truly in gear. Rosemary Frost’s travails and hurts are put aside as she turns to joining the WRNS (Wrens) as part of her war effort. Only that becomes a bitter disappointment. But she wasn’t forgotten and a friend, John Palmer, had a word in the right ears. Rosie is good at math and speaks Italian. She signs the Secrets Act and ends up at Bletchley Park. Just as she’s becoming comfortable, a new CO, Lieutenant Commander Hugo Garfield turns up. A man she has HISTORY with. Can she push down her feelings, feign the consummate professional, and work with him? A winningly woven novel of spycraft and personal history. Very enjoyable.
An Avon ARC via NetGalley.
Many thanks to the author and publisher.
Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and Molly Green for the chance to read this ARC on return for my honest opinion.
I had not read any books by this author before. I think I had this series confused with another about Bletchley but it is possible to read this as a stand-alone book.
I will, however, be actively seeking the first in the series. I need to know what happened to the Dale character.
I found this book enthralling from the first page. Why was Rosie jilted? Who was behind her not hearing from Hugo?
It was slightly contrived that that should meet at Bletchley but fitted into the narrative well - and still kept my interest.
I have an interest in Bletchley and the work done there so found this a different aspect to the work, from a different perspective fascinating.
This was one of those books that I wanted to read till the very end rather than go to sleep but was equally sad when it did finish - in a very satisfactory way.
I would thoroughly recommend this author
Rosie should have been married by now. But her fiancée left her at the altar six years ago without explanation and her heart is still trying to recover. Now she has been denied her dream job in the WWII effort as she has an illegitimate child which is against regulations. Her family life is a mixed blessing which causes her joy and pain. The past has a way of creeping into the present. But thankfully someone values her skills and potential and she becomes a codebreaker at Bletchley Park during WWII. She also meets tender and kind John and makes friends at her new job. War destroys so much but it cannot kill her spirit!
Historical Fiction lovers, this book has your name on it, especially if you enjoy romance as well. Author Molly Green writes with that special extra bit of something which evokes the entire gamut of emotions. Not only that but the historical information is fascinating to read about, such as the Utility Clothing Scheme and codebreaking duties.
My sincere thank you to Avon Books UK and NetGalley for providing me with an early digital copy of this fabulous book, the second in the incredible Bletchley Park series. The first was amazing, the second just as good...makes me wonder what the third will bring!
This is the second in the series by Molly Green but it can definitely be read as a stand alone. This book focuses on Rosemary who got jilted at the altar by Hugo when she was just 17. Six years later, she begins a job in Bletchley Park at the time of World War 2 where she happens to.meet up and work with Hugo again. Will Rosemary and Hugo finally get their happily ever after?
This series is so well written and gives the reader a brilliant insight to the fantastic work carried out in Bletchley Park during the war.
I hope this series continues as I love the setting of Bletchley Park.
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the advance read of this title. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
