Although a good book with a lot of steamy scenes in it... I really wished it was a bit longer of a book... It went too fast for me... Maybe a bit more drama perhaps?

Good book but could use more editing and plot development. I liked the premise and the characters! Loved the relationship between Rose and Brick.

who doesn't love a good motorcycle story. I love me some bikers and that was love for me. Give me a biker who loves you hard core and that was it for me. Will read more of these bikers.

This is a good story, though there were several spelling and grammatical errors, and some missing words. Also, it didn’t flow as well as some other works, but the story was fun, and sweet, and while it is insta-love it didn’t come off as hokey at all. Both Brick and Rose are solid characters that are easily relatable to. While this story does include human trafficking, there are no details given, and the results of what is mentioned are acceptable for readers.
Things moved at a rapid pace, but not a lot was fleshed out with the characters. You had insta-lust turning to love very quickly, and for sure the heroine had to have some daddy issues since her father (and her brother) was a giant loser, and the hero (Brick) was 20 years older than her. She was looking for someone to take care of her (I could hardly blame her with the hand she was dealt).
This is a fast paced, instant attraction romance.

Rose is wanted by an MC bike club because her brother stole from them. Brick comes across her and finds her in need of help before he knows her story. He finds himself drawn to her and not only wants to protect her but wants her as well. He first must come to terms with himself, then his club which at first is a problem for some, then with the other bike club which is an enemy of theirs. Rose has no problem being with Brick for once in her life she feels safe and someone is protecting her. This at times is a very powerful story with really strong characters. If you like biker books this should be a book for you.

I did enjoy Rose and Brick even if it was pretty fast burn. They were both likable enough and Brick was adorable with Stefan. This was pretty low angst and like like I mentioned previously, it was nice to have that instead of the typical old lady vs hangaround drama.

All in all, the plot was fine, the characters were nice, but nothing particularly blew me away or stood out. And if you’re a big fan of MC romance like myself then you may not like this as it’s very light on that whole aspect.

Tough, muscled and good hearted MC vice meets strong willed, hard working female who has had it very rough. Chemistry from the get-go, action and emotions prevail. A fun weekend or vacation read.

On the fence with this book, over all I did like it… as a fast pace MC book. It didn’t connect with me. I couldn’t get vested but did finish book. It seemed very short and quick and need more. Yes, there were plenty of action scenes but also… “what?? scenes” I’m not sure because some sentences counter act what was just said – need more proofing. I am going to keep tabs on this author and will check out other books by her.

I really enjoyed this book. I thought the plot and characters were really well developed and I thought the book was really good. It kept me entertained and I couldn't wait to see where the story goes. I loved the motorcycle club part of the book. Also I loved the romance.

This book started with so much promise, but for me, it just didn't deliver. It's quite short and as a result, we don't really get any depth to the characters. A short book doesn't mean that you can't have a connection, but here it was a bit lacking. The romance just happened and much of the story was this happened then, this happened and then this, but I didn't feel pulled into the story. This one just wasn't for me.

Perfect MC Smut

Fast paced and gets to the point
Very quick but good read

Would love a quick follow up at some point with Brick and Rose

ARC provided by NetGalley. If you want a quick and fast read to fulfill your MC smut for the night, Winter Sloane delivers with this one. You will get whiplash from start to finish, but I hope she gives us more with a series to check back in on Brick.

I was hooked immediately! The world building was amazing and I fell in love with Brick and Rose. I've found a new favorite author.

Thank you NeTGalley for the eARC. I have one complaint about this book...it was TOO SHORT! I wanted to keep reading about this couple! I wanted more details into their lives and I cannot wait for another book! This was so good. I dont know if there was a book 1 but I am going to look for it now and anything else from this author!

Overall this was a good read. It was fast paced and plenty of action and excitement. You want to keep reading to see what happens next and how Rose rises up to the next challenge. I do wish we got to know Brick better, such as his family, favorite beer or drink, things he enjoys doing in his down time. We learn so much about Rose but don’t really know anything about Brick.
“Brick had a silencer equipped. Razor also came prepared for the firefight, so he wasn’t worried. Gin told him the locals wouldn’t tattle as long as Brick paid them for their silence”. Who has the silencer? Is it on the rifle? When do they make silencers for rifles?
“He approached her. Rose seemed distracted, looking at Stefan. This close, Brick could smell the soap he used on her skin. His shampoo. Fuck, but she smelled delectable.” He used on her skin, he didn’t take a shower with her so how could he have used soap on her skin?
The end of the book ends with this “ “Penny for your thoughts?” Brick asked, gently handing Sam back to her. He gave Sam’s head a kiss. Smiling, Rose told him.” what did Rose tell him?

This book was a quick read for me. It had some typical MC story elements but the plot could have been flushed out more. It all seemed very rushed. Within 24 hours Rose is attacked with a molotov cocktail, picked up by a different biker, feels comfortable leaving her nephew with a strange woman, and jumping into bed with the biker. I would have liked a little more plot to flush it out.
That being said it was an entertaining read.

I... What did I read?

OK, first I want to say the premise, average. Most biker/MC Romances are the same. Burly smexy biker rushes in and saves girl giving her new lease on life. This though, this had some pretty ok potential but it was only like 30% of the story. I kept waiting for more and it never came. Also, an editor or proofreading would benefits this title.

I hate that this is the type of review I'm leaving but if I paid for this book, I'd be furious. There's no quality here. It's a rush slap-grab shortie that the author needs to pull back and try again.

This book held so much promise, but it fell flat. The plot was interesting, I WANTED to like the characters, but everything was one-dimensional, with a hint of angst and suspense. The romance lacked depth. This was my first book by Ms. Sloane, and it will be my last.

**3.75 Stars**

Rose is doing all she can to make it and provide for her and her nephew by working three jobs. Her useless brother seems to have gotten himself wrapped up in something dangerous with one of the MC's and has left her and the baby as a target. Brick is the Vice President of the Ruthless Reapers MC and happens to come to Rose's rescue, saving her and her nephew and offering protection to them.

I really enjoyed both Rose and Brick as the main characters and found the story to be very engaging. I liked that Rose was an independent and strong character. She wanted to work and support herself and not just have Brick support her. Brick's Addiction was a very quick read, more like a novella. Insta-love/lust isn't totally my jam but the story was still overall enjoyable. This was my first book by this author and I would definitely be interested in reading more of this author's work in the future.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own. Thank you to Netgalley for the advanced copy of this book.

An absolute improvement on the series starter, this book is an instalove romantic escapade through the familiar background of an MC background

Unusually I didn’t feel the “brotherhood” bonds so usual in this trope, with the president seemingly absent and unsupportive of his VP and his choices

Despite this, the story is a fairly pacy read and if you like damsel in distress heroine and a gruff strong willed hero
