I wanted to love this book but I’m afraid it fell short.
Brick and Rose have so much potential but there was very little character development, I finished the book feeling like I didn’t get to know them. This left me feeling their story had been rushed, it felt very one level.
I’m going to pick up another of Winter Sloane’s books as the general idea of the story I enjoyed and I’m aware she has other series I may like more.
