"The Digger Dance" is about a young boy who likes to watch the diggers at a local construction site. It talks about how everytime the diggers move it's like a dance. The book will appeal to young construction fans ages 3-7
Thank you, NetGalley, for allowing me to read a digital ARC of this book!
I love the idea of describing the diggers as dancing. The author did an artful job showing kids how they can be a digger at home. The play on words is delightful! "After breakfast, I plow through some books." The illustrations did a nice job of showing what was happening. I especially liked the visual of the young boy's frustration of nothing to do on a rainy day. However, I was not wowed by the illustrations. The colors could have been more engaging and current. The paintings reminded me of books from the 1940s.
