I am so glad I chose this as my first Christmas book this year because it was everything I look for in a holiday book! It also might be my favorite in the Bromance series! I loved the grumpy sunshine trope and of course Colton was swoon worthy! I loved Gretchen and was really cheering for a happy ending for her after everything she went through. Definitely check out this book if you’re looking for Christmas fun, family drama, witty banter, and steam! Thank you @berkleypub for sending me an egalley of this one!

The perfect Christmas book to start the season off. I’ve loved ever Undercover Bromance book so far and this one was no different. I absolutely loved Colton and Gretchen’s story. It kept me intrigued the entire time. I could not get enough. This one will definitely be a reread for future Christmas seasons.

Another excellent installment in the Bromance Book Club Series!

Colton's story is one that fans have been looking forward to for a long time. Gretchen, who we meet in Undercover Bromace, is our heroine. Both Colton and Gretchen brought different things to the story. The pressure someone can feel to always be happy. Desperately seeking validation and praise from their family. Knowing what you want and need out of life, not just what you think you deserve.

This holiday centered romance is really so much more than a holiday romance, and I think that worked well for me in particular. Yes, there are definitely holiday elements to it, such as parties, lights, and a heroine who doesn't love Christmas because of her toxic growing up. But, this book truly is about so much more, and I love it for that.

I have a couple of people I would love to see get their stories next. We will see who it is soon though!

I have officially read every book in the Bromance Bookclub series and I can honestly say that A Very Merry Bromance is hands down my favorite.

This installment focuses on Colton and Gretchen during the holiday season. I loved the use of the grumpy/sunshine trope with a fun Christmas Carol like twist- Gretchen serving as the story’s Scrooge with Colton being the most lovable Bob Cratchit.

While this story had very clear holiday undertones, it did not read like your typical Hallmark Christmas romance. Like Lyssa Kay Adams’s previous books, A Very Merry Bromance deals with very real issues. Family drama takes the center stage, with sibling abuse being addressed.

Gretchen and Colton seemed like a strange pairing to me initially but very quickly proved me wrong. Their chemistry was electric and their private bedroom moments were both steamy and heartfelt. One of my favorite romances of the year, I highly recommend A Very Merry Bromance!

Lyssa has done it again, y’all! I adore the Bromance Book Club series so much, and Colton’s story is no exception. ⁣

To the world, Colton is a ladies man, but deep down, he is a very driven, devoted man. Gretchen strives to be more than just the daughter of a wealthy family - she wants to help people who need it most. Colton loves everything about her, but Gretchen doesn’t want to give him a chance. ⁣

So when Gretchen asks Colton to be the face of her family’s next whiskey campaign, he agrees on one condition - go out on three dates with him. What ensues next is whirlwind of romance, charm, angst, and the perfect amount of sexual tension and steam.

This is a perfect holiday romance!

Y’all know I don’t read very many series but The Bromance Book Club is one that I have religiously stayed on top of.

In the latest installment A Very Merry Bromance Country music star Colton gets a second chance with Gretchen “Scrooge” Winthrop. She wants him to be a spokesman for her family’s whiskey brand and he agrees on the condition of three dates. Will he be able to win her over and reach her the magic of Christmas?

The Bromance Book Club books always have the perfect amount of real life issues mixed with romance, steam and humor. They are the ultimate light hearted feel good books in my opinion. A Very Merry Bromance does not veer from the perfect formula. Highly recommend this one for the holiday season!

I’m absolutely obsessed with the Bromance Book Club series and this one might just be my favorite. Set around Christmas-time, this 5th book in the series follows country music star, Colton Wheeler, as he chases a woman he hasn’t been able to get out of his mind for over a year. Heartwarming and perfect for the season. A quintessential rom-com.

This a cute Second-Chance Romance, and this is the 5th book in the Bromance Book Club series. I have read the other books in this series before picking up this book, but I do feel that you can read this book as a standalone. I love this series so much, and these characters are just so awesome. This book is everything I wanted from a book in this series. Of course, there were some very funny moments, hot steamy moments and cute times in this book. I really fell in love with the main characters in this book, and I think you really get to feel all their feelings, and I was rooting for those characters with everything I have. This book has so much Christmas in it, so if you are looking for a Christmas Romance with a lot of Christmas this is the book for you. The ending of this book was just so sweet cute and everything I wanted from this book. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Berkley) or author (Lyssa Kay Adams) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.

The Bromance Book Club series is pretty much everything a romance reader and lover could ask for. Famous, wealthy, attractive men forming a romance book club to better get in touch with their emotions and understand women? Wish it were real and in my town!

In the fifth installment, we see country singer Colton attempting to woo former one-night stand and immigration lawyer, Gretchen--who also happens to be an heir to a whiskey empire that wants Colton as the next face of their brand. Colton tries to get Gretchen into the Christmas spirit and his good graces before he considers the offer.

There's a lot to love in this book--the holiday cheer, interesting backstories, strong leads, and a bit of steam. This book would have probably been a 10/10 for me if it hadn't been for the ending, which left more questions than answers and failed to tie up some loose ends (though I can't elaborate more without serious spoilers). Let's just say the epilogue could use an epilogue. But the overarching story was still stellar, and it's a five star read for me. Let's hope we get a cheese man book next!

Thanks to Berkley for my eARC! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

5 stars - 8/10

Such an amazing edition the story. I admit I waited a while to read this to get closer to the colder and more Christmas season and I’m so happy that I did. I love this story and I adored the characters and the vibes were just as perfect. 5/5 very happy and content stars!

Everyone’s favorite country music star, Colton, gets a second chance at love with Gretchen. She ghosted him after one magical night, and he’s been pining for her ever since. Gretchen hates Christmas, but when an opportunity arises during the holidays to help her community, she can’t say no, even if it means convincing Colton to be the new face of her family’s whiskey brand by Christmas.

I just love the Bromance Book Club series so much!! Although you can read this book as a standalone, you should read the entire series because it’s fantastic! During the summer of 2021, I was fortunate enough to receive an eARC of Isn’t It Bromantic?, and I decided to read the previous books first. I immediately fell in love with these characters and devoured the first 3 books in one weekend, and I was beyond ecstatic when I found out the 5th book would be Christmassy! What could be better than a Christmas romance book in my favorite romcom series!? Nothing!

I was so happy to revisit these lovable guys, and I loved everything about this book! Grump/sunshine is my favorite romance trope, so I absolutely loved this reverse grump/sunshine book! Gretchen really put Colton through the ringer, but I couldn’t get enough of their witty banter! Colton was so adorable and upbeat, even when dealing with the Grinch vibes emanating from Gretchen! While the Russian will always be my favorite of the group, Colton certainly gave him a run for his money in this book! This is definitely a series I will reread, and I’m already eagerly awaiting the next book!

I didn’t expect to love Colton, but my god, I do.

I didn’t expect the country star to be the one pining after a woman who has so much emotional baggage she believes she’s not worthy of love.

I didn’t expect Colton to break down her walls and be the one person she could rely on.

I loved them individually, but I loved them so much more together. And I loved the twists and turns Adams placed in this story. There are some phenomenal villains to hate in this book, and I’m proud of Colton for the actions he took to protect her.

This series is wonderful, but this particular book warmed my heart, had me on the edge of my seat, and kept me wanting so much more. I HATED seeing it end.

This is by far the best bromance book to date. Previously Noah and Alexis were my favorite couple but Gretchen and Colton blow them out of the water (respectfully). I love that Colton is the Sunshine. Having seen him as the sassy secondary character in previous bromance books, I’m so glad that we are able to see his sunshine personality and warmth come through.

I love that Gretchen is a realist and hard working. She’s definitely a great personality to level out Colton’s dreamer creative nature.

There were two parts to the story that I would have wanted to be fleshed out a little more clearly: the tree house scene where Colton tells Jack that he’s a good person but doesn’t want to talk to him anymore that evening, and the book within the book. The Colton/Jack interaction felt incomplete, like something was missing to prompt such animosity from Colton. The book within the book could have had a few more parts (but if it took away from
Colton/Gretchen then I don’t want it).

Adams writes intoxicating and indulgent romance. Her dialogue and banter feels effortless. Even her “super star” characters feel down to Earth. I want the Bromance universe to go on forever.

I adored this book! And, we've selected this for our Romance Book Club December pick! Can't wait to see what our group thinks!

I adore this book!!! Colton quickly is making his way to the top of my favorite list!! I loved him and Gretchen so much. I love the reverse grumpy/sunshine trope so much. I loved the interactions between the two of them. they were always such sweet moments. This book is such a great addition to the Bromance universe and i am not prepared for this series to ever end!! My only complaint about this book is that it felt like there weren't enough book club interactions! I feel like we only got a few chapters of the book and also not as many interactions as normal. BUT that is not a bad thing since i loved this book! I think this will be such a fun holiday book to read this season!

Sunshine and grumpy?? more like Grinch and Elf! I love the christmas version of the grumpy/sunshine trope and really loved seeing these two characters within the Bromance book universe. This ensemble of characters is so fun and I enjoy reading them with every book.

"'Tis the season for a Bromance Book Club matchmaking mission! This time, they're pulling out the mistletoe for everyone's favorite country music star, Colton, and his second chance at love."

I love this series and this is a Christmas one!

Colton is the sexy country singer in the Bromance Book Club. Gretchen is an immigration attorney trying to help those who get lost or mistreated in the legal system. After what happened between them the prior year things are difficult between them to say the least.

Loved how passionate she was about making a difference and helping people, despite her families wealth. Her jaded  outlook puts her in a grump position to Colton's sunshine especially about Christmas. As she tries to get him to say yes to a proposition from her family he is making a proposition of his own. He wants to try to get her into the Christmas spirit with some dates.

I love a grumpy sunshine esp when the girl is the grump lol.

Colton has his work cut out for him but he's going to make this second chance stick. The banter between them is so cutting and snarky and he loves it. Which melts her guard a bit.

Love this series!!  Love all the guys are there to cheer him on and give advice when he messes up. Gotta love those instruction manuals.

Thank you berkleyromance and netgalley for the e-ARC for the honest and voluntary review.

Thank you to @netgalley @berkleypub and @berkleyromance for a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you to @prhaudio for a free download of the audiobook.

This is the latest installment of the Bromance Book Club and it didn’t disappoint. Colton, the country singer super star, is wrestling with the direction of his career. Gretchen is offering him an opportunity to be a spokes person for her family’s whiskey brand. The two had a one night stand a year ago, and Colton has been pining for her ever since. This is the perfect opportunity to get Gretchen back in his life.

This book gets all my stars! Gretchen is a total Grinch and I just love how Colton is able to peel away her built up layers to really see her. His humor and willingness to protect Gretchen no matter the cost, made me love Colton!

The abuse Gretchen endures from her family made me so angry. But true to the Bromance way, the realization that family doesn’t always mean blood is in full demonstration. I just wish the ending didn’t feel so rushed…but maybe that was because I didn’t want this book to end.

Such a fun holiday time. I loved being back with the crew and it's been too long. I was so excited to see this hero get his HEA with a little Holiday Cheer thrown in.

One Night Stand that you run into a year later. The chemistry is still there but some convincing is needed. Paired with fame and trying to keep your privacy, you're in for an adventure.

If you have loved this series so far, you will have a great time with this book.

Ruthie – ☆☆☆☆
This is the fifth book in the series – and I really would recommend that you read them all, and ideally in order, although each one deals with another member of the book club finding his happily ever after. Colton has been the most elusive to date, so it is great to see him get his chance too.

Gretchen and Colton have one perfect night – before she runs away, not wanting to taint him with the disfunction of her family. He is unable to put her out of his mind, and the Bromance Book Club gang finally step up to get them the happily ever after they deserve.

Watching Gretchen see what she so desperately would love from a family, and seeing Colton realise just how horribly her family treat her – the whole thing is nearly derailed by the sympathy/pity angle – but then the gang remind him of the romance of a big gesture... and we all get the outcome that we really wanted all along.

Really enjoyable read, and great to catch up with all the previous couples and their families.

M/F Romance

Colton is living life the best way that he knows how. With his good friends by his side and his family being taken care of. When he is blindsided by his producing company, Colton isn't sure how he's going to get back to making music that he's passionate about and that is also something that his company likes.

Gretchen is trying to make the world a better place for those less fortunate. She works like a dog day and night to help those around her. But with her family, she knows that they will always be the way they are. With the exception of her Uncle Jack, nobody in Gretchen's family cares about her. She has known it for almost her whole life.

When Gretchen and Colton first meet, it's just one night. But Colton can't forget Gretchen. When they meet again, Gretchen is now tasked with helping Colton want to be the new face of her family's business.

As Gretchen and Colton get to know each other – faults and all – both will have to decide if happiness can outweigh responsibility to family and job.

This is a love story that is made from the manuals that Colton and his friends read. It's fun at times, serious during others, and has a love that you know will last forever.
