In this book we meet Kyra a nurse practitioner on the cusp of getting everything she has spent years working towards, a job practicing in London. But before she can go start her new life in London, she finds out her estranged father passed away and left her a town in the middle of nowhere that she must deal with first. Before she can sell her father left a list of jobs she must oversee in the town first, forcing her to go to the town and spend some time there. The first person she meets in town is Aiden, a former navy seal turned cowboy who will do anything in his power to try to keep Kyra from selling the town to developers which could force his sister and nieces to have to leave their home. So Aiden and the rest of the town will do everything in their power to get her to fall in love with the town, and maybe even more. The characters were great, the setting was breathtaking, and the magic of Christmas runs throughout the book. I’m really hoping this is a series and a book with either Lyric or Tess is in the works to come out soon! I received an ARC from netgalley and focus is my honest review.
I enjoy Sara Richardson books and this one was as good as the others I have read by her. Kyra and Aiden are both good people and it was nice to not read a book with drama involving other men and women. Just a story of two broken people finding peace with themselves and love with each other. Really good.
Loved this sweet romance cowboy book! The story was a lovely, feel good book that I couldn't down. I highly recommend!
This is a solid romance with a touch of Christmas. Kyra Fowler, a pediatric nurse practitioner, inherits a small Wyoming mountain town of Star Valley from her estranged father. The last time she had contact with her dad he left his wife and Kyra behind and married the mother of Kyra’s best friend. She’s given herself a few months to deal with the inheritance with plans to sell to the assets and begin a new job in London. Aiden Steele loves the small town that has been the refuge for he and his ex-Navy Seal friends. It is also home to his sister and nieces. He suggests a plan to make Kyra fall in love with Star Valley so the town wont change and be developed.
The characters are nice and there is a good sense of community. I thought the plan was manipulative but Aiden realizes it on his own and has some guilt about it. There is mid level steaminess which fits nicely. I thought a few things were predictable and I was confused as to how big the community is because the only children ever mentioned are his nieces. I have read another series by the author and enjoyed this enough to look for the next adventure.

This was soooo good! I fell in love with all the characters in the small Wyoming town of Star Valley and wanted to be right there with them!! Talk about a small town with a great big heart.
Aiden and Kyra are two people who are emotionally broken, he's an ex Navy Seal with survivor's guilt and she's a nurse who believes her father abandoned her all these years ago. Now she's inherited Star Valley and moves there temporarily so she can clear out the house and sell the town. The best laid plans don't always work out!! Before long, the warmth of the town's people and the sexy Aiden, make her second guess her decisions of where she wants her life to go.
This is written from the heart and it shows throughout the story. Add in all the Christmas preparations and the romance and you've got a book you won't want to put down!!

Wishing on a Christmas Cowboy by Sara Richardson is the perfect story that puts you in the mindset for a Christmas romance. With endearing characters, touching and thought provoking plot lines, and the joyous holiday preparations that create lasting memories for loved ones. Witty and wry banter and a sharp dialog keeps the pages turning…not to mention a scorching chemistry that singe the pages.
