Thank you NetGalley for the chance to read and review this book!

I'm the one who should not have requested this book, given that it was solely written for little children (no, absolutely not all ages!)

It is very, very sweet and the illustrations are charming and I would get a copy of this for a little one!

This collection of poetry was absolutely adorable and whimsical. I enjoyed the concept of a poem for each letter of the alphabet and found each poem to be varied and fun, but what really made the collection special was the artwork that accompanied each poem. Each image correlated to the poems themselves and give the collection it's wonderful whimsy. While the poems were simple and to the point, they were a joy to read and very fun in nature.

What a fantastic book! The author wrote the majority of this poetry collection when she was 10 years old and her joy, thoughts, and imagination make it fun to read. Each poem is accompanied by beautiful artwork/illustrations which tie into the message of the poem. As you read each poem, its' intended message becomes visualized in the illustration. There is a poem for each letter of the alphabet and the content of the poems vary so that it is a diverse collection. A very impressive piece for a child author and a great read for kids. This book may inspire children to want to write their own poems!

Come Fly with Me: Poetry from A to Z
A collection of 26 poems, one for each letter of the alphabet, this is a quick read. Some poems are better than others. Some were written when the author was ten-years-old and the rhythm or rhyme scheme is slightly off, but the sentiment comes through loud and clear. Lovely illustrations accompany each poem, making the entire collection an enjoyable read. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me an advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

What a great book of poems for kids. The illustrations are colorful and fun. The poems cover a wide variety of topics. Some are sad, some funny, some silly, some sweet. I think this will mainly appeal to elementary aged kiddos. When my kids were little they loved poetry. They would have loved this book.
