I did not manage to finish the audiobook although I thought I had downloaded the whole thing, that was not the case.
I listened to first percent of the book and was very involved in the content. Although I'm not sure I enjoyed the narrators way of pronouncing fungi, it was definitely worth the listen.
I highly recommend this for anyone interested in the nutrition within their food. I would have reviewed this better if I had the chance to finish the book
This book was both insightful and well-researched. It included many informative nutritional benefits, some of which directly correlated to my lifestyle (now and future goals) However, I believe every person can benefit from reading this book. It's a must-read no matter your walk of life or nutritional goals..

Loved this thoughtful and fascinating explanation of the importance of the soils that our food is grown in. Filled with surprising and insightful facts and an excellent reminder about the importance of maintaining good farming practices for soil health which in turn effects both our own health, as well as the health of our planet.
Thank you to HighBridge Audio and NetGalley for allowing me to listen to a pre-release of this audio book. My review is voluntary and all opinions are my own.
What Your Food Ate provides some very valid points, interesting insight, and food for thought. My biggest issue with listening to this book was the narrator, quite honestly. I had a hard time staying focused because of her robotic-sounding voice. Beyond that, while the book had some points I disagreed with, it was all presented nicely and, overall, was a good read!
Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for providing me with a complimentary audiobook in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are entirely my own.
