Not one for my must read again list. Unlikeable character and the writing style was too snappy. The subject matter made for a generally uncomfortable read.

Beyond the Threshold is a complicated review for me. While I liked the writing style, the plot was heavy and full of personal trauma. It is a very emotional story about Ricky and his painful experiences as a child. Unfortunately for me, this was very uncomfortable for me to read.
