Mansplainer is a delightful end to the Last Man Standing series. Nash is so determined to win Grandma Betty’s last gift that he decides to enter into a marriage of convenience, not fall in love and divorce once he has the precious present in his hands. Series readers know that fate probably has other plans…. This is a story to be devoured in one sitting; funny, poignant, revealing and super sexy. Nash hooks up with Chelle, who has had it up to her roots with men telling her how to live her life and now she finds herself married to a know it all if only temporarily. So why can’t the two of them stop trying to seduce each other? I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley. Most highly recommend.

Omg! I have been stuck on reading just murder mystery books for a very long time! I totally got burnt out on romance books! But when I saw that Avery had a book I thought mmm I guess ill try?! And wow! Every romance book I've read lately has been a DNF! I just roll my eyes and move on to a murder mystery like half way through! Well not this book! I absolutely loved it! This book had intrigue, an interesting storyline and was so funny! I highly recommend reading this book! It was so worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me! A big thank you to Avery Flynn for your amazing words!! You've definitely got me thinking to try more romance again! Thank you!

This is book 3 in the Last Man Standing contest between the Beckett Cousins. Up for grabs is a present from their deceased grandmother Betty, but no one knows what it is. 2/3 of the Becketts have found love and Nash Beckett swears he isn’t going to suffer the same fate. He’s been set up by his mother to meet Chelle who has a challenge of her own - she has to be married so her douchey uncle doesn’t get his hands on her foundation. She doesn’t want love, she just wants to be able to keep helping her community through her foundation. She’s 42 and has well and truly given up on love, preferring to write about it in her books she doesn’t intend to get published.

This is fun wrap up to this series. Nash is a good character but a bit of a pain given he tries to solve everyone’s problems. It’s his identity though, and you can see how this role has been born through the responsibility within his family - he’s kind of lost without it. Chelle is constantly challenged by this aspect of Nash, even though he’s trying to ‘help’ her. She’s an older protagonist at 42 (yay for having an older representation) strong, intelligent, and she doesn’t need a man to make decisions on her behalf.

As expected, Grandma’s gift - a tad anticlimactic …. But good to have the series wrapped up in such a nice way.
