This was definitely a sweet romance. I loved how Alex and Harley interacted, and how each of them went above and beyond to help the people they loved. I also liked how Alex bonded with Phoenix. Overall it was a quick cute read. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced reader copy.

SINGLE PARENT. HOT NEIGHBOR. easy, fast read. helped get me out of my slump!!

There’s a professional line in the sand. One I refuse to cross. I can’t afford to if I want to keep my secrets safe. To keep my life from falling apart again.

Those boundaries are tested when he moves in across the hall.

My new neighbor might just be the sexiest man I’ve ever seen. He’s also my patient’s brother which is why he’s off limits. But with him this close, I find it hard to ignore my attraction to him. To deny the spark between us. To avoid the magnetic pull I feel.

Because Alex is everything I’ve ever wanted in a man.

Kind and sweet, with a dirty mind and a touch that lights a fire inside me.

And he loves my son.

Which scares me the most.

It’s not just my heart at risk. The closer Alex gets, the more I fall for him, the more I risk exposing everything I’ve worked so hard to keep hidden.

The story begin with Alex getting help for his substance abuse sister, Daphne. As their parent still around, he have to lie on their background info to get her to be admitted to a rehab. It was there, he met Harley to who he is instantly attracted. The story continue with how he end up being her neighbour and meeting her son. Having feeling the same for Alex, Harley tried to avoid it from develop further as it is unethical as she is Daphe’s counselor. With the complication that she have with her son, Harley doesn’t need anymore complication in her life.

It is an sweet read for me. Love the way Alex tried to get help for her sister and his willingness to risks everything for her. Loved watching on how the relationship between Alex, Harley and Phoenix developed.

I really enjoyed this book! I loved watching the relationships grow and see where some of them didn’t. Alex, Harley, and Phoenix were such loveable characters. This book dealt with some tough topics, but I felt like they were very well written. This is the second book of Rachael Brownell’s that I’ve read and I will definitely be reading more.

Thank you to NetGalley and Rachael Brownell for this arc!

This book has so many faults but at the same time I couldn’t help but love it. She gets mad he lied when she spent the ENTIRE time lying about something similar? Then let’s not forget the kidnapping. Also, when they both confess everyone in their lives just easily forgive them? Huh? YET I couldn’t help but love them as a couple. After reading the first paragraph and seeing the cover- I really thought the book would be spicier. I was a bit disappointed about the lack of spice. I’ve covering my eyes about all the issues and giving it 4 stars because I felt the burn between them and loved them as a couple.

There are some TW so double check before reading.

I was given and Advanced Reader Copy by NetGalley for an honest review.

I thought this was a sweet story!
Both have someone they are protecting and will do anything for that person. For Alex, it’s his sister. She’s recently overdosed and their parents don’t seem to care. They just want to push it under the rug and act like nothing is wrong. Alex won’t let life fail his sister so he pretends their parents are dead to get her into rehab. His plan seems to be working well until he sees who he’s just moved next door to… Yep, none other then the woman with the perfect behind who is his sister’s new counselor at the rehab center. Talk about conflict of interest….

Falling for my Hot Neighbor is a fantastic read. I loved this one so much. You feel the emotions and everything that surrounds Harley and Alex all the way through. I love how Alex tries everything he can to get his sister the help she needs. He risks everything when it comes to her care. There is such a spark as soon as Alex and Harley meet. Harley is lovely. I love how she works to try and help those with addiction problems. She has her own reasons why and you feel for her in every step she takes. I love her relationship with Phoenix. You get why she holds back and tells half truths about her life. You get why Alex holds back on his own truths. Emotions, angst run high. Half truths and half lies run amuk. Alex and Harley have this beautiful build to their relationship even as all the secrets start to come out. I love how Alex is with Phoenix and Harley. There is just something so special about this book that will take your heart and will not let go. I fell hard for Alex and Harley. I could not put this one down at all. ⚠️ TW: Substance abuse/ Rehab

The story centers around Alex getting substance abuse for his sister Daphne. There, he meets Harley, to whom he is instantly attracted.

He ends up being her neighbor and meeting her son. Their friendship boarders on unethical, as Harley is his sister's counselor.

I loved the bonding they did as friends and how their story developed. ❤️ The bond he had with Pheonix was awesome too. 💕🎮

Overall, a great read unless you have any triggers with substance abuse, as it is a main part of the story. 🤗

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this eARC!
