Really cute cookbook. It has a nice variety of recipes and important lessons such as hand washing. This is mom and Daniel Tiger-loving toddler approved!

I enjoyed making most of the recipes with my kids and loved seeing their faces as they tried their own creations. The directions were easy to follow and simple for the kids to take direction and help with. The majority of the recipes had very simple ingredients.
I was not able to ever access this for whatever reason the download didn’t work. But my girls love Daniel Tiger and I’m sure it is great
My kids absolutely loved this book. I will be purchasing these for Christmas presents for the nieces and nephews. Keep up the great content!
My daughter is a huge fan of both Daniel the Tiger and cooking. This book was absolutely perfect for her! We loved it and it will be getting a lot of use at our house! Definitely recommend for all the young children.

45 Grr-ific Recipes

I received a digital copy of this book in exchange for honest review.
I don’t know about you but I have always wondered how to make veggie spaghetti and any number of other foods featured on Daniel Tiger. This is a great book for child and parent fans of the pbs kids show that is this generations dose of the wisdom of the one and only Fred Rogers.
5/5
This was such fun way to engage with my littles with more than just reading! The pages are so pretty and colorful and had the kids excited to create the recipes!
Thank you Netgalley for my ARC in exchange for my honest review!
One of my grandchildren is a big fan of Daniel Tiger. So I requested this to look at with him. Fun and entertaining. We will try out some of these ideas.
This is such a charming cook book for kids who (like mine) adore Daniel Tiger! It can be so hard to get them to try new healthy foods, but I’m so excited to try some of these with my picky eater.
I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.
3.5 stars rounded up to 4.
The Official Daniel Tiger Cookbook is a fun, bright and colourful cookbook for children to do with their grown up. This book would make a great activity to do with your child as a rainy day activity, bonding activity or quality time activity as well as for fun! The book starts by giving the child some important safety information such as not to use things in the kitchen without a grown up and how to wash their hands properly to prevent contamination to the food. Each recipe has a photo of the finished dish for the child to visually see what it will look like and if they want to make it. The book is broken down into sections and each recipe is easy to follow and make. These are very simple recipes and designed to get children more interested in food and cooking which is a great idea for fussy eaters. I marked the book down half a star because each recipe had the ingredients in an illuminous box in the corner which was very hard to read as the writing inside it was in white lettering and I could barely make it out. I think Black lettering would have been more readable.
This cookbook is just so colourful and has so many kid-friendly, nutritious recipes. The instructions are clear and there are images to accompany the recipes. Adults will also enjoy the variety of recipes that are simple, yet satisfying. Any fan of the series will love this book of recipes. I have bookmarked quite a few to try myself!
This cookbook is a great opportunity for parents to get children involved and excited about cooking. With kid-friendly drawings and descriptions as well as real photos of the foods, kids will get excited to choose recipes and help make a variety of meals and snacks. Each recipe includes the prep and cooking times and other important information. There are modifications for gluten and dairy in some of the recipes and a list of safety rules and steps to follow. I think this book will be a hit with children in the age 2-7 range. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book!
This cookbook is so cute, and my kids asked for their own copy as soon as we finished looking it over. Unfortunately, we haven't gotten a chance to make any of the recipes, but we are heading to the store as soon as we're able to grab ingredients.
The inclusion of all the different characters and foods specific to their family/culture, especially some of the newer characters, was phenomenal and showed the inclusivity that we love so much with the Tiger family. The inclusion of different dietary restrictions and mentioning of allergens in cooking was a huge win. It helps tie the cookbook into the show that much more for the little ones and bridges the gap between screen and page.
I think, as a parent, that my favorite part of this cookbook was how it opened up with kitchen safety and proper cleaning tips. Even my partner nodded at this, remembering how when he was growing up it was something that was meant to be common sense according to his parents, but that is actually vital for children to learn when starting out. The little included section on allergies that share a bit from the episode where Daniel finds out that he is allergic to peaches? That was so wonderful to see. Most children aren't taught about this until they are much older and have a horrible experience with the subject; whether it is a friend or themselves who has a terrible reaction out of the blue.
Overall, I will be ordering a copy of this book for my family the moment I can. Until then, I have a few recipes to test out. ^_~
My son loves Daniel Tiger and he loves helping me cook. As someone who loved Mister Rogers Neighborhood growing up, Daniel Tiger holds some sentimental value to me, too, so this book was so fun to go through with my son. We found some fun recipes to make with him to help him gain confidence with cooking and he loved the idea that he was cooking with Daniel Tiger, too!
While I don’t love cooking with kids (hello, MESS!) my family and I have enjoyed tried some of the simpler recipes like the Mango Lassi and my kids have awarded me Mom of the Year already, so this one is a winner!
The Official Daniel Tiger Cookbook is a collection of 45 kid friendly recipes. Each recipe is accompanied by colorful photos and easy to follow instructions. While younger children will need help with some of the preparation, older children would be able to make many of the recipes on their own with minimal supervision.
The introduction includes a section on kitchen safety including the 5 steps of handwashing for kids (and adults). I like that the author included some questions (which recipe did you like the best) for kids in the back of the book along with some space for adults to make notes.
I tested out a few of the recipes, including “Daniel Tiger’s Favorite Peanut Butter and Choc Chip Cookies”, and they turned out great.
This cookbook would make a fun gift for any Daniel Tiger fans or families with younger children who enjoy helping in the kitchen.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing!
this cookbook was an absolute delight ! It is filled with a great diversity of recipes that are easy to follow, the pictures of the different dishes all seem delicious !
I am a a mother to a three year old, and we have been OBSESSED with all things Daniel Tiger since he turned one! We love Daniel Tiger books, and I was so excited to see this new book coming out later this year. Bonus because it's a cookbook - something we can both enjoy. Lately Ronan has been loving to help me in the kitchen so this book is literally p e r f e c t for us! With simple, fun recipes, fans of Daniel Tiger, cooking, and or activities to do with your toddler will definitely enjoy this one. I can't wait to own this book when it comes out!
Thank you Andrews McNeel Publishing for a digital copy of this book! This book is due for publication 9/8/22 and we definitely recommend it!
