I received this ARC via Netgalley and Hachette Book Group, in return for an honest review. Excellent modern-day English country manor house mystery! Told from the varying perspectives of three women actors who performed or will perform the same female detective role. I loved how the author developed the relationships between the three women and used it to further the storyline. Even better, there’s a possibility of at least one sequel to come!

Perfect cozy country house mystery for all mystery fans. This delightful book will have you absorbed from the beginning. The characters are incredibly lively and you’ll enjoy getting to know them.

What a great premise….a British country house, a murder game, three amateur detectives working together…and yet this was disappointing. The writing was pedestrian, the pacing tedious and the climax and denouement improbable and prolonged.
