When Flora’s life falls apart, with losing her job and broken romance, she decides to travel to Finland and head up north to Lapland with a van. Meeting grumpy Connor, in charge of the campsite, it leads to sparks and arguments. Fun read, of a woman who loves Christmas and a man who hates it. Fun read and would recommend.

Thus was a warm quirky romance about Christmas and lice. Not much else to say but it was a sweet read.

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. A great Christmas story about never giving up even after another break-up, losing your job, and your best friend moving away.

I loved this book so much! It felt like a warm mug of spiked eggnog in a book! It had holiday spirit and magic, romance, seasonal cheer, humor, and big heart. You will love the enemies to lovers romance as well as the characters who have shops at the camper van holiday market!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves holiday movies and romances!

A nice Christmassy relaxation book.
I have read a lot of books by this author and have enjoyed them all.
Christmas vibe perfect for when you want to let go of the stress and get away from it all.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book.

This is an adorable novel about being true to yourself even when it isn't easy.. I loved Flora's escapades and reality enjoyed seeing her succeed in life and love.

Flora loves Christmas. It’s the most important thing in her life. When she’s fired from the Christmas shop she works at in England, she starts anew by selling almost everything and moving to Finland to live the van life. I wanted to love this story, but somehow the lack of maturity in the 30 year old ruined the story for me.

I cannot understand how this book has such high ratings....such drivel, I kept going hoping for something...anything to happen. I am actually kind of mad at myself for finishing it, but when it ended, there was still 10% left so I kept hoping.....it was a preview for the next book.

This may be the most festive Christmas book I've ever read. I mean, it literally drowns in holiday spirit! It never got to be too much though- the writing is witty and fun. The setting was spectacular and unique. The setting details were fabulous. I felt like I was transported away and dropped into a Christmas land. It was so fun!

Flora loves Christmas. She could live it every day of the year. So when she loses her dream job, what is she to do? With advise from her best friend, Flora decides to open a year round shop in her Camper van, What better place to open but Lapland, the home of Christmas. Things though don't go quite as planned. Will Flora find her happily ever after?
Such a fun book. It is a cozy romance book which makes you want to grab a blanket, a warm drink, and a cozy spot. If you don't end up singing carols by the time you finish, then you really are a Grunch! I received a copy through Netgalley. A review was not required.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Harper 360 for my copy of Flora's Travelling Christmas Shop by Rebecca Raisin in exchange for an honest review. It published October 11, 2022.
First off, I would like to preface that I loved the two previous Van Life books from Rebecca Raisin. So, it pains me to say, this book was not like the others. Flora was just so annoying. I wanted to like her, I wanted to root for her, I wanted to be on her side, but all along, I thought she was such a one-dimensional, paranoid, ridiculous caricature of someone who loves Christmas.
I thought it was kind of going for a meta thing to "realize" that it was like a Hallmark movie, but instead it just kind of used being like a Hallmark movie to keep things going along how they were.
To be honest, I just couldn't keep doing it and skimmed the last bit. I didn't care about Flora's relationships. The antagonist wasn't really that bad, her boss wasn't that awful, nor was Connor.
Anyway, the setting was lovely, and there's all sorts of Christmas goodness, but you have to put of with Flora to enjoy those parts.

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I have read a lot of books by Rebecca Raisin, and I enjoy this Traveling series of hers the best out of all of her books. This is the third in the series and I loved this one as much as the other two.

DNF @ ~41%. Flora doesn't ever take responsibility for her part in things going wrong with her life, and it's frustrating, to say the least. I like that she wants to take chances and has big dreams and follows them, but it's really difficult to get over her personality and character flaws. I found Flora, and the writing as a whole, to be a bit try-hard. It's decent fluff enough, but I won't be finishing it because it was frustrating.

Thanks to Sophia Wilhelm at Harper 360, I was given a copy of Flora’s Travelling Christmas Shop by Rebecca Raisin to review.

Rereleasing on November 15, 2022

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Flora is eccentric and has her own quirks. She will speak her mind before thinking about it, so she has had many failed relationships and not any luck with jobs. Just when she thinks its going to work out with Luke, he dumps her. She is shocked and saddened.

Livvie is her best friend and roommate. Flora lives with Livvie rent free, since her life is so unpredictable. Flora works at a Christmas Emporium, but the only problem is she fired for being a little too gracious with helping customers out, which goes against the store policy. Livvie ends up moving to L.A., but before she moves, she gives Flora the idea to be her own boss by having a pop up Christmas Shop, will Flora be able to get the idea up and running? Will this give her the new start she needs? Will this lead her to a successful relationship? This book will have you turning the pages to find out Flora’s fate!

A unique story with quirky likable characters that makes it fun and entertaining! This book will even have you chuckling at times! A well told story that will leave you feeling satisfied in the end! A great book to add to your Holiday TBR list.

3.5 stars.

Flora's Traveling Christmas Shop is exactly what you would expect it to be. A fun, Hallmark-movie-esque romantic Christmas romp. There wasn't much actual travel going on, but it was still a fun and festive read.

I haven't read anything else from this author before but apparently a character or two at least is in Ms Raisin's other books?

Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read an ARC of Flora's Traveling Christmas Shop in exchange for an honest review.

I love a good Hallmark Christmas movie so I was excited to read this book; it has everything you would want in a Christmas story - interesting setting, the potential for romance in a new town, a cute main character. But that wasn't what I got. The main issue is Flora. I like my stories to be believable and for the most part, Hallmark stories are; there's a capable person running a business that just needs a little help. Flora is the complete opposite. She's a terrible employee so the thought of her as her own boss is terrifying. She's possibly the most self-absorbed, clueless person on the planet. I could not finish this story. I could not see how she could be likable so I DNF this one.

I love all things Christmas and books related. I love the ideal Hallmark movie of where the heroine faces adversity and her heart questions in the same beat. Flora is such a character, but notched up about 20 times to an almost overwhelming degree. In what can only be termed as a millenial life crisis as she nears 30, we find Flora embarking on what could only be described as her life's journey to bring the spirit and joys of Christmas to others, including unsuspecting Connor who is the grinchiest of grinches in Nordic form. Flora's character, and believe me, she's a character, will frustrate an older reader but she is who many of were at that age-questioning our life's journey, exploring options we may not financially or socially agree with but truly seem like adventure to us. Flora finds an acceptance in the Van Lifer community she encounters along her way that provides a familial aspect of her choosing rather than the one she was born into. You see an underlying current of making your own way in this world on your own terms, which is something that we all often strive for, or realize we missed the chance to explore later in life. An enjoyable read, a build up to a rather quick ending but overall would recommend for the holiday season, especially if you are a Hallmark Countdown to Christmas fanatic.
