This anthology was quick paced and very easy to digest. I loved how different the stories were and how diverse the characters in. The first story really pulled me in and I loved the writing. I would recommend this anthology to anyone looking for something a little spooky and to get you out of a reading slump.
I think the only think that was stopping me from giving a full 4/5 stars is that some of the stories just fell flat for me. However, this is the good and bad thing about anthologies. While some stories don't work out you can manage to find new authors to read.
On the plus side I just want to say I love the Author choices and this cover is absolutely stunning.
This cover is absolutely amaze-balls!
A smart fantastical collection of all the things I love in SFF. Starting with the diverse cast of authors. This lent itself to the short stories choked full of representation. There is beauty in diversity which makes this collection relatable. So thankful I was able to read.
Thank you to Netgalley and Penguin Teen for sending me an early copy of this book! All opinions are my own!
From the moment I saw the cover for this book, I just knew that I needed these vibes in my life! And I was oh so right! This was a group of amazing stories from some of the most amazing authors, and I adored literally each of them. There was not a single story that didn't hit the right spot in one way or another. I absolutely the way that they were all paranormal but they also feel so real, so human. They each had such a connection to the soul and the human experience, and it was amazing!
My favorite part of this book is how diverse it was. There were characters of all backgrounds and identities, and it made the beauty of it that much better. It made it so much more relatable and gave much more depth to the collection as a whole. The stories covered some very deep topics, such as identity, self-love, feminism, family/home, and so many others. I loved that it was able to go into these kinds of topics and really be so touching even in such short stories.
Not to mention that the writing in each and every one was so beautiful!
If you're a fantasy/paranormal fan, make sure to check this book out! You won't want to miss what these amazing authors have presented!

overall, a common theme was that everything felt a little forgettable and underdeveloped. some of the stories were really interesting and sweet, but most of them were kinda cringey and bland. however, i absolutely LOVED all the representation and diversity- it was so well done.
As with all anthologies, there were some five star stories, some three star stories, and some that simply weren't for me. But overall my favorite ones were Kendare Blake's, Chloe Gong's, Julian Winters', and Casey McQuiston's! They've always been some of my favorite authors, so I was particularly excited about their stories (and quite possibly a little biased). But the paranormal romance theme was definitely one of the best I've seen in an anthology book, and it's something I've been missing in YA since the early Twilight/Fallen/Beautiful Creatures days. I would definitely recommend if you enjoy quick, short, fun stories from your faves all about supernatural creatures with all the romance you can handle!
Unfortunately, these stories just didn't do it. Almost all of them had the potential of being gripping, but due to the short amount of pages given, there was just too much going on. I normally enjoy anthologies a lot, especially once with diverse line-ups (such as this one!), but the stories were far too complicated to be told in a dozen pages.
I did discover some authors to check out, but except for that, ETERNALLY YOURS missed the spot for me.
I was really excited for this anthology, but unfortunately I think most of the short stories were more misses than hits. The standout for me was Chloe Gong's short, and I would love to read a longer version of that story!
This is an incredible group of authors!! For most of the stories, they were so addicting that I didn’t want to stop reading every story.
I unfortunately only made it through two of these stories before I decided I simply couldn’t stomach it. They don’t seem very well thought out, and I was hoping for way more creepiness. Not a single bit of creep to be found here.
