I received an Advance Reader Copy from the publisher via NetGalley. This in no way impacted on my view.
When Lady Easton found the girl she would launch this season, she never expected that Caroline Upton would be more comfortable in a stables or at a horse race than in a society event. As the eldest daughter of a horse mad baron, Caroline had been around horses her entire life, and a bet made between her father, the Prince Regent, and Lord Easton has lead to her becoming Lady Easton's new protegee. Relying on her organised nephew, Richard, Lord Bertridge, to help her survive the season in Brighton, Lady Easton has her work cut out for her.
This book was definitely a lot more enjoyable than I was expecting. When we met Lady Easton in the previous books, she was always a stickler for punctuality and rules, and I thought that would be a little grating, particularly when I saw that Lord Bertridge was to be the love interest, as he was exactly like his aunt. However, Caroline was his opposite in just about every way, and the perfect partner for someone like him. They helped the other to either follow rules more or less, depending on what they needed. The scene of him striding into the sea to 'save' Caroline, while telling himself he didn't love her was so good, and I think Richard is definitely someone who tried so hard to fight his feelings, but it was in vain. The Undaunted was a lovely story in the series!

A Feisty Lady Caught in a Web of Endless Rules
Caroline is a down to earth young lady, used to living and talking freely at her father's house. She even drinks gin with the stable hands. She calls an innkeeper by his first name; perish the thought. After a secret bet between her father and one Lord Easton, she finds herself whisked off to London for a season, under the chaperonage of Lady Easton, a lady who lives by the strictest of rules. Caroline cannot be late for one minute without causing a major household upset. Then, there is the lady’s vexing nephew. He is an attractive fellow, if only he were not a stick in the mud. However, she very much enjoys watching his boxing matches, something a lady should never do. Caroline finds herself caught up in rumor and scandal, but she also finds herself falling in love with the unlikeliest of people. Can a lady who does not follow rules, and a man who strives to live by them find a way to meet in the middle? If you like clean Regency romance with humor, you might enjoy this story.

A very fun, enjoyable read. From secondary characters to the plot, it was enjoyable and kept me entertained.

I enjoyed this cute Regency very much! I do love a buttoned-up hero who the heroine has to teach to have a little bit of fun. The secondary characters, and the social situations in Brighton, are also captured well - this is a light-hearted read with plenty of gentle humour. I'm looking forward to reading the others in the series!

This book was really fun. I loved the main characters and it managed to be funny, which I like, and also perhaps a touch more historically accurate than some books in this genre manage!

Caroline is the latest of the young women to be presented by the Society of Sponsoring Ladies, but being set loose on the scandalous city of Brighton may end up too much for her reputation.
Of course I snapped this book up on NetGalley as soon as it became available – I’ve been really enjoying this series, and it turns out that this is probably my favorite of the lot.
I loved the leads, and the ways they differed and suited each other. Caroline has had a secure if somewhat unconventional upbringing, while “Bertie,” whose parents were rather volatile, responded by becoming excessively buttoned up. It was interesting to read how they reconciled their differences.
I thought the humor really shone in this book too, especially in the character of Bemmy and the presentation of the pineapple! There were a good number of hijinks throughout, but nothing egregious or really period-inappropriate, which I appreciated.
Really hardcore romance readers might be a little disappointed by the page count devoted to Caroline and Richard’s relationship, but I think it make sense considering the weight placed on the theme of both characters changing, one to become more proper and the other more improper, so that they meet in the middle.
I eagerly await the next book!

The Undaunted by Kate Archer was a lovely, romantic read. I enjoyed the characters in the book. I thought the first couple chapters were a little slow but the story did pick up nicely. Can't wait to read more by this author.

Another worthy young lady in this third installment of A Series of Worthy Young Ladies! Kate Archer books are well-written and enjoyable reads and I'm loving this series, . When Lord Easton chooses Caroline, a racing crony's daughter, as the quasi-daughter for his wife to sponsor, Lady Easton is not impressed. She will have her work cut out for her so she enlists the aid of her nephew, Richard, who is as much a stickler as his aunt. Although Lady E has a bride selected for Richard, that he whole-heartedly endorses, he will find his heart yearning for Caroline, a woman who is the anti-thesis of what he expects in a wife. Can't wait for number 4.
Thank you Kate Archer, Dragonblade Publishing and NetGalley for allowing me an advance copy for my honest feedback.

This is Book 3 of the delightful and fun series, A Series of Worthy Young Ladies. The series is based on six matrons of society, mourning the fact of not having any daughters of their own and coming together and combining their resources to help launch young ladies into society, and thus creating The Society of Sponsoring Ladies. In this installment, Lady Easton now has her turn at finding a young lady to sponsor, only it is Lord Easton who has chosen for her. Miss Caroline is the daughter of one of his horseracing acquaintances, who he also has a gambling obligation to. Lady Easton runs a strict household, and Caroline throws things a bit off-balance with her independent, care-free spirit. Lady Easton's nephew, Richard also prefers law and order in the household, and he is determined to make sure Caroline follows the rules. What ensues is a fun, humorous battle of wills as Richard struggles to maintain calm and order and Caroline is constantly getting into mischief. As much as she irritates him, he is also enthralled and attracted to her. Two completely opposite people, who couldn't be more perfect for each other!
This was a thoroughly fun and entertaining story with many laugh out loud moments and I had such a great time reading it. The characters were endearing and well-defined and I found myself rooting for them from the start. A highly enjoyable story and I am happy to have had the opportunity to read!
I received a complimentary copy from Dragonblade Publishing via Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.

I love how it time period novel . The humor could be a little dry at times but it worth the read. Has a slow start for me but after a few chapter you really start to get into and what to know more about the characters. Definitely a romantic comedy.

I am thoroughly enjoying this series by Kate Archer, and eagerly look forward to each book as it comes out.
I chuckled over Lady Easton and her Butler, and their six clocks in the house. Even Richard Camden, The Earl of Bertridge was very uptight about time and planning things out. I liked the freedom Caroline was given in her life, especially by her father, Baron Dunn. Caroline and Richard were total opposites, but were attracted to each other.
I highly recommend this book and series!

This was one of the funniest books I have read in a while. Whilst the humor was mostly dry, it was so hilarious that I found myself laughing out loud. In a household driven by clocks and the strict adherence to rules, Lord Easton has very little say in the running of his home having been well trained by his wife. However, not to be outdone by her friends, Lady Easton takes on the launching of Miss Caroline into society at the insistence of her husband, who has some gambling obligation to Caroline's father. Independent, free-spirited Caroline bounces into the Easton household to the clicking of clocks, only to find that her life is about to become governed by time and the stickiest of rules, and not only that but Lady Easton's nephew, the Earl of Bertridge, is going ensure that she abides by them. Into the fray comes Lady's maid, Bemmy, who has a very interesting approach to life, one that consistently leads Caroline into trouble with Lord Bertridge, who after all is there to ensure that Caroline is properly launched into society. Numerous compromises have to be made, but the unlikely pair finds middle ground and ultimately their perfect match. I received a copy of this highly entertaining novel as a gift through Dragonblade Publishing and NetGalley and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Miss Caroline Upton is sent to Lady Easton to make her "come out". She is put in the limelight by the one and only Prince regent and Lord Easton.. Richard Camden, Earl of Bertridge also helps Lady Easton by trying to guide Miss Upton.
I will admit I have not read the first 2 books so I was really lost through the first chapter. However, I try to remain objective for at least 4 chapters before giving up. I am so glad I did. I absolutely adore this book! It describes how wonderful amazing and confusing love can be. I laughed out loud and even read parts of the last chapter to my kids because they can relate. My word this is definitely a read again and again. It was just that good. This is a new author for me. I think I will go and purchase the first 2 books in this series.
I have already recommended this to my sisters to read. Anyone who has a passle of kids or who are complete opposites with their spouse need to read this book!
I recieved a free copy so that I can tell you what I honestly think. Hope you enjoyed my review. Now go enjoy the book.

I really enjoyed the character of Miss Caroline Upton. She is the eldest daughter of nine siblings and mama is due to have another baby. She is always blooming, as the family calls it. Her father trains and races horses and she goes with him to different races to help him when he needs support. After a successful race, her father makes a deal with Lord Easton and Prinny to take Caroline and place her under the care of Lady Easton so that she can have a season at Brighton. With Lord Easton and Prinny’s help he is hoping that she will meet a worthy young man. And this is where the fun begins. What a colorful story line and so much fun to read. Thank you for the interesting plot and delightful characters.

This lovely Regency is 3rd in the series but easily stands alone. Be warned, however, that if you’re like me, you will want to go back and read books 1&2 (The Meddler & The Sprinter) immediately ! Thoroughly enjoyable series - looking forward to #4., when the Society of Sponsoring Ladies takes on their next challenge. Terrific light-hearted escapism!

Lady Easton is one of the Ladies who have declared their wishes to help worthy young ladies find a good husband. Unfortunately her husband has suddenly decided he can make decisions for himself, and his friend's daughter is now to be launched in Brighton of all places.
Miss Caroline Upton is the eldest in a large family and has spent a lot of time with her horse breeding father in various stables. The chance to go to Brighton is exciting.
Richard Camden, Earl of Bertridge is a man who lives by his own very strict code. He knows what happens when emotion gets out of control. Like his aunt, he prefers everything to run like clockwork.
A very amusing historical romance full of wonderful characters. Even the butler and the maid are great.
This is the third book in the series but each one can be read on it's own. This one shows us that opposites often attract and we don't always know what we want.
Great fun.

This was the first book in the series that I read, but that didn't interfere with my enjoyment at all (although I really want to go back and read the first two because what is hinted at from those books sounds like they are fun reads). I felt like there was a lot of Elizabeth Bennet in Caroline - she's independent, speaks her mind, has a thing for a good looking stuffy grouch, etc. But I would have expected more awareness on her part about how insincere men could be. In some ways she is wise beyond her years and in other ways very naive. I was not a fan of the whole fainting thing after being yelled at by Richard - it made her seem weak and crying would have served the same purpose for the story. As for Richard, it is easy to understand why he was the way he was once you learn about his parents. I really enjoyed watching him accept the new chaos in his life but open himself up to something new. The best part of this love story is that these are two characters who truly love one another for the person that they are; neither asks the other to change but they do bring out new qualities in one another. The moments with Bemmy, Bramley, and the Eastons add just the right amount of comic relief. The story has great pacing and main characters you are rooting for right from the beginning.

The Undaunted by Kate Archer is another in her series, a Series of Worthy Young Ladies, the premise being that a group of titled ladies who lament their lack of daughters decide to expand their largess to worthy young ladies who do not have the financial means to make their come out. Sponsors, if you will. The latest is just a little different. It seems Lord Easton, who learned early in his marriage to not have thoughts of his own, has decided upon a young lady for his wife to sponsor. Not only that but it won’t be during the season in London, but rather the summer in Brighton. Lady Easton is flummoxed. Bramley, the butler, is also out of sorts. She and Lady Easton run the home with precision, with planning. This won’t do. She is a young lady who doesn’t conform. Lady Easton calls upon her friends for advice as she prepares to travel to Brighton, where her husband has preceded her to find a house. One she will surely disapprove of.
This is a most amusing novel as well as a romance. The romance actually takes second to the story of Lady Easton, Bramley, and her nephew, Richard Camden, Earl of Bertridge. Caroline Dunn is the daughter of Baron Dunn, who is a highly acclaimed horse trainer and breeder. It was part of a bet made with him that brought Caroline into their home. The lady, the butler, and the nephew were all sticks, the stickiest of sticks actually and Caroline was used to a little more freedom. She had eight younger brothers and sisters and so her father took her everywhere. She enjoyed life and wanted to have fun. She did grow up during the book so that it all worked out well. Another point of amusement is her maid, Bemmy, who had Lady Easton totally fooled and caused mayhem in the household. The whole thing is a book worth the read, with humor that is not normally found in a Regency romance. Opposites attract. A terrific story of scandal, innocence, and mirth. I like it.
I was invited to read a free e-ARC of The Undaunted by Dragonblade, through Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are mine. #netgalley #dragonblade #katearcher #theundaunted

A straight laced Earl and a troublesome miss equals outrageous hi jinx and chaos. Lord Bertridge could not possibly be prepared for the whirlwind that is Caroline Dunn. She is everything he is not, adventuresome, witty and carefree, while he is staid, calm and dull. But somehow, these opposites attract. Lady Eastwood being the same stick as her nephew, struggles to manage the chaos and somehow survives. The most fun is found in ladies maid, Bemmy. Her on the spot thinking keeps Caroline out of great many scrapes, even if it is typically her idea to start with. And poor Bramley, trying to run an orderly house may never be the same after Caroline Dunn.
The story is outrageously funny and utterly charming. The ladies society never fail to bring fun and levity to these debuts. It is funny every time when their charge inevitably ends up married within their entire house. It truly makes you wonder if lol their efforts aren’t a little overdone in public, when all they need to do is introduce them to their own family. These characters are all so easy to love.

An enjoyable entertaining read. Caroline is being brought out by rigid Lady Easton. Her stickler nephew Richard steps in when he sees that the Prince Regent and his friends are paying too much attention to Caroline. Caroline's maid and the butler were also very enjoyable characters . I highly recommend this sweet, low steam read.
