I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Ellie and adventures in her vintage caravan. Following her life saving surgery she and her best friend embarked on a holiday in the caravan. The caravan broke down in Magpie Cove where they made the most of their time while awaiting for the van to be fixed. A truly lovely story of love and friendship which I find hard to put down. I loved how she took courage in both hands and began cold water swimming with a group of local ladies. It was a really heartwarming read.
Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.
As Ellie is recuperating from recent surgery, browsing on eBay she buys a vintage Airstream.
Her job is busy, working as a lawyer, and with time needed to get better in order to do her job, with her friend Fee go on a trip in the motorhome to the West Country. Thinking that they’ll have trouble driving on the narrow Cornish roads, they do manage to drive through with any problems.
But then, it breaks down, and it’ll need some repairs, they find a house to rent on the beach, in Magpie Cove.
The repairs take time, and meanwhile Ellie and Fee get to absorb themselves in the good things from Magpie Cove, making them think of changing the way they live their lives.
The story, was not only about Ellie moving to another area and finding love, but also about her recovery both physically and mentally.
Dream of Magpie Cover by Kennedy Kerr was a lovely read. I thought the story was great and enjoyed the characters in the book. A fun, fast paced read!
Loved the setting and the storyline was brilliant, and a lovely cast of characters to boot! Taking time out to recover from cancer and finding a whole new life style takes some guts, making new friends and finally a new home.
Highly recommend

Thank you Bookouture and NetGalley for the ARC, this review is my personal, unbiased opinion.
At home recovering from surgery, in a moment of unheard-of spontaneity, Ellie McTavish buys a vintage Airstream motorhome from eBay. Needing time to recuperate from her work as a busy London based lawyer, Ellie and her friend Fee decide to take the motorhome on a trip to the West Country. Even driving the smallest model Airstream motorhome could cause chaos in the narrow, high banked Cornish roads, somehow Fee and Ellie manage without causing county-wide gridlock. Thank goodness for fiction.
When the vehicle breaks down, and while waiting for the motorhome to be repaired, they rent a house on the beach in Magpie Cove. Repairing a vintage vehicle isn't a quick and easy job. During the coming weeks, Ellie and Fee experience the good vibrations from Magpie Cove and start to consider changing their lifestyles.
I was expecting a whimsical story about someone improving how they currently live, moving to a new area and finding love. Whilst all this did happen (no spoiler – it's in the blurb) the book follows Ellie's slow recovering both physically and mentally from her serious operation.
A glorious cover with a thought provoking and romantic book. Visit Magpie Cove for a life changing experience.
I received an ARC of Dreams of Magpie Cove, by Kennedy Kerr. I really liked this story. With all Ellie has been through, all she wants to do is help others. Such an uplifting read.

A story with a topic very close to my heart and I read it without a tear but it could be a tear jerk. Set in a lovely place. A story of finding confidence and being true to yourself and falling properly in love. A very good read
