A book that I was waiting for with great impatience and that I devoured far too quickly !

FINALLY the book of Garrett ! While waiting for the release of this book, I reread the entire series to help me be more patient ... And it's so weird to think that Garrett who was SO cute when his teeth came out had become a grumpy and sexy biker =D

What I particularly liked :

- the ever-rich universe ! I love all the specificities of this author's vampires (the mating marks <3), all the different factions that clash ... Addictive !

- the multiple plots that are exciting ! The mystery around Destiny's past intrigued me a lot (I was SO NOT expecting the truth !) but it's mostly the big intrigue with the Seven and that crazy Ulric that kept me on my toes (that scene at the end ... I think I was just as PANICKED as the other characters xD) I can't wait to see what's going to happen now !

- the main characters ! Of course, I always liked Garrett (a sexy and badass vampire without being as medieval as his father ... Well, not too much ;)) but Destiny was a very good surprise ! I loved her very "girl next door" side, the way she remains so courageous despite all the hardships she has suffered (LOVE when she stands up to Dage AND Talen !)

- the secondary characters (special mention for Jordan and Katie whom I loved seeing again !)

- the romance that was both sexy and cute !

In short, a book that will mark a turning point in the series ! I can't wait for the next book ! For fans of urban fantasy and boiling hot romance, I recommend it !

This series just gets better and better.
Garret's Destiny checks all the boxes for a steamy, thrilling paranormal book that we all love to read.

In Rebecca Zanetti’s latest Dark Protector book, “Garrett's Destiny”, Garrett Karys finds his fated mate. Their HEA tale is a wicked ride, filled with action, adventure, fun family and friends, and perhaps the most epic love story of the series.

Like many of us, I’ve known Garrett Karys since the day he was born. We’ve watched him grow up throughout the Dark Protector books, he’s always been impressive, and he’s been full-grown for a while now. But, damn! Garrett is hella-hot! He’s matured into a smart, intuitive, dominant, demon-vampire male. King worthy! And definitely Destiny worthy.

Destiny Applegate is independent, adventurous, and has a strength of character that is a perfect match for Garrett.
From the first page to the very last page, their story is a compelling, action-packed, swoon-worthy read. I loved every second!

Rebecca Zanetti has done it again with this fabulous book!! It will grab your interest from page one & leaves you wanting more!! Garrett & Destiny have quite the journey with action, humor, romance and many twists & turns. She is an incredible author that never disappoints & I can’t wait for the next book!! I received an arc from the publisher & Netgalley for an honest review.

Garrett is pulled in multiple directions as he has ties with the vampires, demons, and bear shifters. To top this off, he is also part of a secret (not so secret anymore) Seven who apparently broke the laws of physics. I have been waiting for Garrett's story ever since we saw hits of him falling for a deadly woman that would try to kill him. Even though I was prepared for this plot, I was not prepared for the plot twist!

Destiny is a woman who wants to live life to her fullest. This is a great attitude that many people try to live by. For Destiny, it is a must because she does not have long to live. Brain cancer is a terrible wasting disease and there is no cure for it. Destiny is a conundrum. Her innocence and exuberance in spite of a life without love is pretty amazing. Her boarding school experience reads like what I wished I had for training. Between the mind, body, and spirit, it looks absolutely ideal. Unfortunately, there are nefarious reasons for her training which is a bummer.

When I think of sleeper agents, Destiny is the ideal person. I love this concept in spy movies and now in this paranormal romance. Ms. Zanetti does a wild job of creating her character and I love it. Destiny is a pivotal character in this long drawn-out storyline. I feel as though this book finally moves the storyline forward more. And yet, there are now more questions and more subplots that need to be played out.

Even though this story is supposed to focus on Garrett and his bondmate, this book is all about Destiny. Garrett is not exactly window dressing for her but comes pretty close. Destiny is making the big moves and helping Garrett with the never-ending agenda he must work on for his family. This is not the golden age of supernatural relations. This is the dark age where allies breakaway and families are torn apart. Destiny seems to be the bond which brings them all together and gives Garrett direction. She is definitely helpful to his cause - and a bit more critical to the end game than Garrett would prefer. I cannot wait to see how this plays out and who will be featured next. This paranormal romance is recommended to readers who enjoy twist, turns, and surprises.

Garrett's Destiny finally gave us Garrett's story and I enjoyed the mystery of Destiny. The author kept me guessing and while my wish did not come true, it was still great story. I enjoyed how her twistwed life came to be and how strong that made her. I think some of the events were anticlimactic but needed to happed in order for the final battle to occur in the next book(hopefully).

Garrett is a majorly intense alpha even rivaling the book about his dad where we get to watch him grow. I really enjoyed seeing this side of him. I found destiny to be super adorable and easy to like. Innocence looked really good on her character and they made for a great couple. I really cannot wait to see how this all plays out in the end.

Pardon me while I completely fan girl over this book! I feel like I've been waiting FOREVER for Garrett's book and I have to say that this did NOT disappoint! If it weren't for kids, a husband, and a job I would have finished this in one sitting. It never lagged, never felt rushed. Zanetti has such a way of drawing a reader in and keeping them captivated the entire time. Definitely recommend reading the other books in the series (the WHOLE series) first. Then you can fully appreciate all the cameos of past couples including the Prides which were my favorite until this story! Highly recommend.

4.75 Stars 🌟

I have been invested in this series from the very beginning. This may be labeled as book 15, but there are a HECK of a lot of novellas in this series. I wouldn't be surprised if there were close to another 10 or 15 books in addition to these 15 books. The reason I mention this is because this world is extremely developed. We have gotten to know so many wonderful and unique characters. We've seen families being built, children born and now those children are having children of their own. I remember when Janie was a child and now her daughter Hope is at the center of the current storyline. Come to think about it, Talen and Cara were one of the very first couples and they are Garrett and Janie's parents - so we have truly watched Garrett grow up.

About this book. We are getting to the end of this story arc. Garrett was one of the last characters that had not yet met his mate and it was apparent in the last few books that he was becoming more and more detached and reckless as he waited to find her. Wouldn't you know, it is always when you least expect it.

We have been following the storyline of Ulric and it was becoming apparent that everything is coming to a head. Garrett is a part of the Seven. He and Logan were the two characters that completed that requirement and they had 2 of the keys identified as well as the Lock (who we always knew was Hope) and now the Keeper. Things are getting crazy in the Realm as the secret of the Ritual is now out. There is a lot of grumbling among the species because of the side effects of the Ritual have made things a bit wonky. That's what happens when you mess with the universe. When the laws of physics start changing, people are going to be concerned.....

Things are building and as a reader, you can feel the very last pieces clicking into place. I don't think I realized how connected Garrett was in the entire scheme of things. This book made me realize all of the connections that he had -that he fostered and developed and considered sacred. As Destiny says, he is an Enforcer and brother to the Grizzlies, a member of the Seven and an heir to the Royal family of the Realm. Lots of ties and different directions trying to pull at him.

As usual, this book was full of action and once it began moving, things really never slowed down. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars completely was because for some reason, the ending felt rushed to me. I would have liked a little more even pacing as things evolved because there are a heck of a lot going on but for the most part, I enjoyed the heck out of it.

I don't know how many more books we have until the end but I know that the whole Hope and Drake storyline is still yet to come. I hope that Hope knows what she's doing because I can tell you that I want to punch Drake in the face....but I digress.

This is NOT a stand alone. Yes, you could probably read this book and it could make sense for the single book that it is, but it loses EVERYTHING if you do not understand what is going on in its entirety. There are so many nuances and relationships in the Realm...between the Realm and the Shifters, the Demons and the Witches. Not to mention the evil Kurjans. It is time to buckle your seatbelts because I think we are in for a WILD ride...and I CAN NOT WAIT!!!!

Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this ARC. The feelings above are mine and mine alone.

I have been waiting for this book for FOREVER and I was definitely not disappointed. Destiny's secrets just keep coming! I also loved being back at headquarters for part of the book, getting to see past characters is always fun. We are getting closer and closer to the finale and, as usual, there's never a dull moment! This is one of those books that is difficult to review without spoilers so I'll leave it at that.

“You’re my mate,” he said simply. “You/re my responsibility, and my word is law.”

Garrett’s Destiny is the 15th book in Rebecca Zanetti’s Dark Protectors series. I am constantly amazed at how she can keep me coming back after all these books, the depth of the characters, the twists and turns and the steam are just perfection.

We’ve been following Garrett for what feels like forever, his parents are Talen and Cara from book ONE, and in the past couple of books he has been dreaming about a strong, fierce female riding with him on his motorcycle. Imagine his surprise when he is pulled to a not enhanced, completely human Destiny, whose not only average but dying from a brain tumor. Now Garrett has the responsibility of Seven, The Realm, killing Ulric and trying to cure his mate. There is a lot at stake and going on but I loved every second of it!

Garrett is finally getting his HEA, I feel like I need to yell that! He as sacrificed so much to be in the Seven, he loves his family so deeply that having him dream about Destiny and finally meeting her is wonderful! I loved that Destiny was not what she seems, that there was so much mystery around her and that she kept Garrett on his toes! Their make out sessions to sex were super hot!

Garrett’s Destiny has everything I love from a Zanetti Dark Protectors book. An Alpha “touch her you die” vampire/demon, a strong heroine, heat and suspense. In this book we got so much of the continuing love triangle of Paxton, Hope and Drake!!! The appearances of past Dark Protector couples - Talen, Cara, Katie, Jordan, and Janie and Zane (who are one of my all time favorites), made me so happy.

This section of the series seems to be coming to a head with the big battle with Ulric looming, trying to determine what’s Hope’s role in it all and who will be standing at the end. I can’t wait to see what happens next!!

Thank you to the publisher (Kensington) for an e-ARC through NetGalley. All thoughts are my own. Garrett’s Destiny has a pub date of October 25, 2022.

Every time I read a new book in the series I think I have a new favorite couple. I think I have a new favorite couple! lol. Garrett was super intense. It's so weird to see him grow up in the series and then bam, you get his book and he's this majorly intense alpha that rivals his dad's book. I really like this side of him.

Destiny was just as awesome. She was adorable. Like really adorable. She wore innocence well. And then you get to see another side of her and it really did work for her. Her and Garrett together were such an awesome couple.

We are one step closer in the overall plot. It's getting exciting and I truly can't wait to see how this all plays out. I'm also going to be sad when it's done. I just love all these characters!

I’ve been waiting for Garrett’s story for what seems like forever. It was definitely worth the wait. Garrett has been search for the woman in his dreams, the one that is his fated mate. When he meets Destiny, he determines there is no way she is his mate, but he is drawn to her. Destiny has a few surprises and some of them aren’t so pleasant.

Secrets are finally revealed and alliances are made. Can’t wait for the next book. Things are definitely coming to a head.

I received a free copy of this book from Netgalley.

Destiny has a brain tumor and doesn’t have much time left, so when Garrett invites her to take a trip with him, she willing hops on the back of his motorcycle. It helps that she recognized him from a dream. But then he takes her to the Realm to have their doctors figure out how to save her, she learns that there is more out there than humans. They also discover that there’s more to Destiny than meets the eye, and there’s a rush to figure it out before it’s too late.

One of the things I really enjoyed about this book was seeing so many characters from the previous books. It was nice to catch up with everyone. Even though Garrett’s family is mad at him for joining The Seven, they don’t hesitate to support him and Destiny, even though they didn’t know her.

The Hope/Pax/Drake triangle is still going on. Drake is still a mystery to me, and I can’t tell if he wants to use Hope for his own purposes or if he genuinely cares about her. Pax also has his own secrets; I’m looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds.

Things with Ulric are coming to a head, and it appears the final battle is approaching. While I’m sad this part of the storyline is nearing its end, I can’t to see what happens.

This is the fifteen book in the series, and I would recommend at least starting with book 8, Vampire’s Faith, as this is where the storyline involving The Seven versus Ulric begins. Each story has been building off of that, and I feel if you start here, you might end up confused about some things.

Once again, Rebecca Zanetti has outdone herself. It’s hard for a series to remain fresh when there are so many books in it, yet she manages to keep it so flawlessly.

Four and a half
Finally Garrett gets to meet his Mate and this story just sizzles from the very beginning ! Garret is pulled in so many directions with alligences that truly test not only him but the forbearance of those who love him. Convinced that his future lies with a dangerous female who will match him for ferociousness he is totally blindsided by the ever so sweet and innocent Destiny who somehow feels she knows him. Destiny is ready to live her life to its fullest and Garrett is exactly who she wants to experience things with but the insanely bossy male doesn’t trust her but then again maybe his instincts are right and danger is right in front of him !
This was a fabulous addition to the series as things are hotting up and the Kurjons and their leaders now have the ability to go out in sunlight. The Realm is slowly coming to terms with the disastrous acts of the Seven but there’s still a lot of trust to regain as Ulric gets closer to his freedom and the senseless deaths of so many who should be protected.
This book simply hurtled along with shocks and revelations that will definitely reverberate in the next book. I loved that Destiny wasn’t afraid to argue with or disobey Garrett although I’m not sure she actually helped their cause but alas my lips are closed. This had my favourite Protectors front and centre with humour and touching moments that delighted this reader. I think the next instalment will be a hot mess for these characters as things have most certainly come to a head but I’m onboard for more particularly if the younger generation of characters get to shine because this world is exciting and full of possibilities.
This voluntary take is of a copy I requested from Netgalley and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair

OMG I am having a hard time calming down to write this review, because I am so excited! I have loved this series since book one. I have watched(read) Garrett grow up and have been waiting forever for his book. I was so worried about reading it, feeling there was no way it could live up to my expectations. I should never have doubted Rebecca Zanetti. This book was everything I wanted and more. I can't say too much because I don't want to give away any spoilers. I will say that Garrett was sexy and protective. He was such a badass warrior. I love Talen. For the longest time I called Garrett mini Talen. Talen is my favorite so of course I loved that Garrett was so much like his father, but Garrett was also his own person which was perfect.

Garrett was just so great he really needed a amazing heroine to be worthy of him. Dessie was such a mystery when she first came on the scene that I didn't know if she would be good enough for Garrett. A few chapters in and I fell in love with Dessie's sweet, smart, brave and unique personality. Her and Garrett really had a connection that felt deep and real. They made a great couple and I fell in love with their story.

One of the things I loved the most about this book was we had a lot of time with Garrett's family and past favorite couples. It was like coming home and I enjoyed every minute of it. I could have used a bit more really. I can never get enough of the Kayrs!!!!!!!!! Like ever. The Janie/ Zane news was amazing. I also loved getting caught up with Jordan and Katie Pride. I really enjoyed the Hope /Pax/Drake love Triangle and I'm not really a triangle person. Although I love Pax and would be fine if Hope ended up with him I really want Drake and Hope to be the end couple. I would love for Hope and Drake to bring peace to the Kurjans. The Kurjans need some redemption which I felt started a tiny bit with Kalin. Besides who doesn't love a bad boy redemption. Some things happened in this book that shocked me. Rebecca Zanetti is an amazing writer and when I think I know where she is going with a story plot she pulls a 180 and surprises me. I loved every single minute of this ride and I can't wait to see what Mrs. Zanetti does with Hope's book. On a small side note I hope Hunter gets a book maybe even Katie and Jordan's twins could have a book. Really I would love all the kids to get stories because I never want this series to end!
If you haven't tried this series and you love paranormal romances start with Talen's book Fated. They are one of my top 5 all time favorites series ever!

Wow! Loved This Story!

This is the first time I’ve read from this author and this series and I have to say, it’s amazing, has seriously hot characters, steam level hot and doesn’t fail to please. I couldn’t put the story down until it was finished and missed my lunch it was that exciting and engrossing! I will be reading all the stories within this series which came before.

Garrett, one of the Seven, Nephew to the King of the Realm is part Vampire, part Demon and a main player within the Grizzlies. He’s looking for his long awaited Mate. He knows she is meant to try to kill him so when Destiny (Dessie) walks into the bar they are in, he’s instantly attracted to her.

Dessie only has a short time to live, she knows she’s dying but although innocent wants to live what life she has left to the full and the instant attraction between Garrett and herself needs to be explored.

Garrett tries to resist her, he knows as a human she cannot be his chosen mate but his mind and body are telling him differently. I won’t say anymore as I don’t want to spoil this amazing story but if you love paranormal romance with a twist and some mystery. Seriously hot Alpha Males with loads of sex appeal,

AMAZING! FANTASTIC! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! HOT, HOT, HOT!

I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC copy and all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thank you Kensington Books and NetGalley for allowing me to read an ARC copy of this book and to find a new Amazing Author I love!

Reviews left on Goodreads and Bookbub will review on Amazon once released.

I always look forward to returning to the world of the Dark Protectors, and in this, the fifteenth book, everything is coming together. The question is, how will Rebecca Zanetti get us where we need to be.

Garrrett Kayrs has a lot on his plate: heir to the throne, one of the Seven, and his search for his mate who just might try to kill him. Destiny has spent her life secluded, raised at remote all girl schools and only leaving when she is diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor. They meet in a bar and the games begin. She recognizes him from a dream, he is drawn to her and can’t understand why, she’s human, seems much too delicate to be his mate, and he is sure she is hiding something.

I enjoyed Garrett and Sam as they rode with the bear shifters, the bears are always so much fun. The back and forth between Garrett and Destiny was awkward for both of them, she felt she was being honest, he was sure she was hiding something. But still, the attraction was there. Soon they were heading back to headquarters and the mystery of Destiny just kept building.

This series has been building to this point, and a lot happens in this book. I loved seeing more of Hope with Paxton and Drake, and so many of the characters from the beginning of the series.

Thank you to Kensington Books and Netgalley for this advanced reader copy of Garrett’s Destiny and this is my honest review.
