This activity book will suit 4-6 year olds. There is a good range of different activity types although the coloring activities could have been more extensive. There were a lot of observation activities that required counting or locating an item, so great for getting the little ones to focus. A very basic story of Mary, Joseph, and the birth of Jesus is threaded throughout in such a way that this book could appeal beyond a Christian audience.
This book was so adorable, I loved everything about it, the illustrations were so well done, they suited the book perfectly, the story was amazing as well, even thought is very short I could really connect with the characters. I’m sure the kids are going to be just as enthralled with this amazing book as I was. I will definitely recommend! Thank you netgalley and the publisher for this early copy
This is a delightful activity book based on the story of the the Nativity.
The birth of Jesus is chronicled with cute drawings of animals and people, and a variety of interesting tasks for a young child to attempt.
Between the placing of stickers, the drawing in of faces, the colouring in of pictures, and exercises like "spot the difference", it should provide quite a lot of entertainment and engagement for children.
Through this process, it is also ensured that the story told in the book remains well-lodged in the children's memories. I really enjoyed seeing the variety of activities on offer for young readers! I give it 3.5 stars.
This is a lovely activity book for younger children and having read it here I am going out to get it tomorrow to go through with my grandchildren as it has been put together so well .
Great to tell the Christmas Story for 3 to 7 year olds
Young children will love the pictures in this activity book. they are very bright, colourful and appealing.
They will also enjoy listening to the Christmas story being read to them as each page is short enough to hold their attention. The fifty lovely stickers are another attraction.
More able children at ages 3 and 4 will be further challenged by the activities which include pencil control, number, colour and pincer grasp by peeling off the stickers and placing them in the book. This activity book would make a good present in the run-up to Christmas.
