This book was enjoyable. Slade finds out he has a child and it is being raised by aunt and the romance begins.... It is part of a series called Slade Security but can be read as a stand alone story. I have read this author before and looked forward to reading more from her. I would recommend this book if you are looking for light HEA.

This is a good book. Another Leslie North don’t put down book. The two main characters are Bethany and Slade. Bethany is a computer programmer and Slade owns a security company. There is an instant attraction. Bethany contacts the security company to tell them know of her sister death. Slade goes to see Bethany. They each have some issues and secrets but together they work them out and find love.

Not one of Leslie North's finest... I missed the magic.

Leslie North really knows how to write a great steamy romance that's quick and easy to digest.
This one is about Slade who goes to check up on his business partner's ex wife's kid who he just found existed. Turns out it's actually Slades kid and he has an instant attraction for the sister who now cares for the kid.
This is a fast paced romance that was enjoyable to read

Continuation of the Slade Security books, this one about Jenson Slade and Bethany. Slade has secrets from his past and needs to come up with some solutions. All seems a bit rushed to me but a different look at Slade.

When I think of romance, I think of books just like this one, that gives all the feels and satisfies every romance junkies' heart. This is a perfect books to snuggle up with on any day. This one took by surprise! Leslie North is one of my favorites!

I don't know how to describe the plot without spoil it, but here is the best way i can't our FMC has to take care of the son of her sister, that passed away, she tries to get in touch with the man her sister married but instead gets in contact with his boss and friend, who also hides something that could jeopardize their relationship even when they clearly liked each other.

Give it a chance, it may be your taste.

This is the second book of the Slade Security Team. It's a short read, enjoyable and makes me want to read the first book to catch up.

I do not know, I just felt this story line was far-fetched and unrealistic. I mostly skimmed it. Insta-lust isn't my favorite trope.

Bethany has lost her sister to cancer and plans to adopt her nephew. She is a computer programmer and can work from home. She tried to get in touch with the father, her sisters ex husband, but his boss and business partner comes instead.
Slade was a former SEAL and now has a security company. Slade has one night stands and doesn’t plan to change. He is big and handsome and has an Alpha personality.
Bethany has no intention of giving up her nephew no matter who the father is. Can Slade get Bethany to let him be a part of her and the boys life?

Ok now I read the other reviews and everyone was complaining about Slade sleeping with both sisters. Now she wasn’t married, she had divorced her husband at the time. Another was you need to read the first book or you will be lost ( at least I was ). Some sex.

Another great read by Leslie North. I was really looking forward to this particular story and it did not disappoint. A story of love and loss. I particularly enjoyed the fact that this series carries on from the Jawhara series

This second installment of the Slade Security Team brings us the story of Jenson Slade who is co-owner of the Slade Security, and Brock's ex sister-in-law Bethany. Bethany is stubborn and independent and not one to back down easily from what she wants. And what she wants is to adopt her deceased sister's son, Jason. Bethany tries to meet with Brock to ask him to let her adopt Jason, but when Brock is not available, Jenson goes in his place. Their connection was instant, but both have a stubborn streak, which made their interactions quite interesting and entertaining. Both also have secrets that will be uncovered which add to the intrigue of the story.
The characters were well-developed and the storyline was interesting and engaging, making this a great addition to the series!

Bethany and Slade were absolutely delicious. I loved their chemistry and connection. I also loved how Bethany gave as good as she got and was the perfect match for Slade. This was a quick and sexy read!

This was a good quick read with a bit of a twist. I mean, the cat’s kind of out of the bag with the title so it shouldn’t be a surprise. I was a little skeeved out by the circumstances of said “secret child”. Working your way through the family, eh Slade? I gave it 4 stars.

As the owner and stoic boss of Slade Security Team you never think of him as a family man but once he meets Jason who he first believed was the son of his partner in Slade Security, Brock. When he realizes that Jason is actually his son, a side to Slade comes out that is surprising but seems completely natural. Just like other members of his team have found, once you meet the woman who is meant to be your forever after, it doesn't matter the circumstances and for him, Bethany is his one and done. While there is one small, awkward secret that they need to navigate that involves finding out that Slade had a one-night stand with her sister, Tayra who is also Brock's ex-wife. This is a wonderful story that just seemed to be the right ending to show that Boss man does have a heart but it only belongs to Bethany and his son, Jason

A relatively short romance, but a good one. A great male lead in Slade who is strong and sexy but put in his place by confident and appealing Bethany. The focus on young Jason and how to look after him is well told and adds to the tale. I really enjoyed the read - not too much violence hinted at but enough to make the Seal plot line plausible to me.

Slade goes to check on his business partner’s ex wife. When he gets there he finds out from her sister Bethany that she died of cancer. He finds that she had a son who has a medical issue. It’s his son from the one night stand he had with her. Bethany wants to adopt her nephew. Slade and Bethany clash over many things. They are passionate with each other. He always wants to be in charge. She doesn’t let him.

The book was well written. I’m loving the series. It is very exciting. When the series is finished, it would be great to have it in a one book collection.

Slade is the Head of Slade Security so when he gets a message that his business partners ex wife is ill and is asking to see him.

Considering the number she did on him leaving Slade decides to check out what's happening before breaking the news to his business partner.

Bethany is in shock her sister is dead and all Bethany wants is to get in touch with her sisters ex husband and arrange to have custody of her nephew which she thinks should be easy since he has nothing to do with the boy.

Slade turns up just after the funeral and is pole axed to see the boy that neither his business partner nor him knew about.

Whilst trying to work things out a few other facts come to light that cause additional problems but the biggest problem is Slade is starting to have feelings for Bethany and that will never do.

This was a great story, the story flowed continuously from beginning to end and was quite sad when it finished, now to wait for book 3.
