Nora Harmon has a lot to be thankful for: two great kids, a stable marriage, and now, a dream career. Software consultant Jane Bell wants Nora on her team. She’s offering a fantastic salary, flexible hours, and a chance to travel the world. It sounds too good to be true, but Jane won’t take no for an answer.
Jane acts more like a friend than a boss, and Nora’s personal and professional boundaries begin to blur. Jane is smitten with Nora’s perfect family particularly her daughter and far too attentive to Nora’s husband. Nora can’t help but feel insecure and unsettled.
Maybe Jane is everything she says she is: a lonely woman in need of feeling the love of a kind and decent family. Maybe Nora is just being paranoid.
Maybe not.
Read in one sitting really enjoyable read totally recommend

It was pretty obvious from the beginning where this book was going but it was an enjoyable ride nonetheless. A quick and fast paced read about Nora and her normal family, who’s lives start taking a weird turn once Nora takes a job with Jane Bell.

Nora’s 13 year old son had more common sense and emotional intelligence than Nora’s husband but whatcha gonna do.

I have never read anything by this author before, and I thoroughly enjoyed this fast pace thriller. Is Jane really who she says she is? Read it to find out. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC>

Nora has the perfect life, two adorable children, a loving attractive husband, a home with a white picket fence, but why is she so discontented? When Nora is approached by business owner Jane, Nora accepts the job after Jane won’t take no for an answer. Why did Jane pursue Nora for the job, why is Jane trying so hard to enter Nora’s life both as a boss and a friend? Suddenly things don’t seem quite right in Nora’s perfect life anymore. And who is this strange man who Nora keeps seeing? What is revealed will shatter Nora to the core.

Jane Bell catches Nora Harmon about the time Nora is beginning to feel stagnated in her current position. She’s no longer excited to get to work. Even worse, she is beginning to realize her children are growing up and she has less time to enjoy them.

Jane Bell, a software consultant, offers Nora twice the money, more time with her family, and a cushy office. So why are those caution bells ringing wildly in her ears? What is the catch here?

Nora is getting comfy in her new position with IMPACT when Jane begins to lavish her with little surprises and uncomfortable when Jane gets chummy with her husband and daughter. Only her son, Trevor, (smart kid that he is) watches Jane with a jaundiced eye.

Where did Jane come from? Where did she really get the money for her start-up?

The suspense is ramping up, the tension is spiking. Nora’s hubby and daughter think Jane is a benefit fairy and they’re loving it. But as Nora gleans additional clues, her grateful reservations change from anger to fear and jealousy. And, she is beginning to see the secrets she’d tried to keep hidden are about to be revealed.

It’s a head-scratching nail-biter. The well-plotted and paced mystery hooked and kept engagement. The protagonist for the most part is sympathetic although maddening at times. Her family perhaps too good to be true, but on the whole an entertaining saga.

I was so tense while reading this one!! I wanted to reach into the pages and tell our main character that "too good to be true" is a thing, "trust your instincts" and "don't just think it - do something about it". There is all kinds of crazy here and the story is riveting.

Such A Beautiful Family
T.R Ragan
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Give me a minute while I try to find the words… This book was crazy good! I’m not sure how people come up with the plots of books but I am definitely giving major created to T.R because I haven’t read many plots such as this one! This book was interesting from the beginning and you definitely will be missing out if you do not read this!

Wow! I totally loved this psychological thriller by TR Ragan! My first book but definitely not my last. It was so well written and expertly executed. Lots of great characters that kept me invested in the story. Lots of twists and turns as sell as big on the creep factor.
Highly recommend.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book

Thus was a great read, even though I feel as if I have read this exact story before. The Jane character was written well, and easy to distrust and dislike. I'm so glad so only wrangled herself so far into the family, as sometimes it's taken too far. Great read.

Arc from netgalley

This was your predictable thriller. Nothing bad to say but nothing remarkable either. All in all a solid 3 star

This was my second book from this author I listened to the audio book of Count to three and it was incredible so I had high hopes for this book and I do have to say it as a good read! The prologue hooks you in from page one although it’s a very different story, the events are hinted along throughout the book and other characters in Nora’s life have to pick a side. If it’s to good to be true it probably is! This book did not disappoint!

I’ve enjoyed other TR Ragan books more than this one.

This is a predictable thriller; yet it is an enjoyable read. The main lesson learned: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

A fast paced thriller. It really begins with a bang and keeps that pace up. I like that in a book. I really enjoyed reading this book. It was exciting, had me on the edge of my seat. Made my heart race.
It was very well written. Great plot. Everything i hoped for from the book.

An enjoyable, easy-to-read, engaging thriller. The characters were a bit one-dimensional but the plots and pacing kept you engaged. A good holiday read. Thank NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC.

This was actually a 3.5 star book for me but I rounded up! I enjoyed the ride but I knew what was happening. We are following Nora, she is married to David and they have two kids, Hailey and Trevor. They are typical and happy. Nora is approached by a woman named Jane who wants her to work at her company called Impact. Jane will not take no for an answer and eventually accepts the position. You can see the red flags from the beginning of this relationship! Jane starts showing up at Nora’s house and buying expensive gifts for Nora’s daughter. Just weird behavior for a boss to her employee. I very much thought I knew what was happening and then I questioned it and then decided I was right! I did, however, enjoy the ride!

Fast paced read that kept me guessing for quite awhile. Enjoyed the dynamic between Nora & her family, and empathized with her struggle to be a good wife & mother while still meeting her own needs.

I enjoyed the unraveling of the story & unease that built as Jane engrained herself into their family more & more.

Such A Beautiful Family stands out as one of the better books written about interlopers who wreak havoc on the protagonist and her family. Nora is smart, savvy, and happily married with children, but even her confidence and assertiveness are no match for hurricane Jane, who is determined to wreck her life. I enjoyed this novel with its unique twists and turns that kept me reading until the last page. A recommended read.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Thomas & Mercer for providing an ARC to read and review. This review will appear at https://baysidebookreviews.com and its Instagram page on release day. *NetGalley Top Reviewer*

This was my first T.R. Ragan book and it did not disappoint! I had no idea what I was getting into because I went in pretty blind and I would suggest that to any other reader as well. This book was so twisty, creepy, and intriguing and I loved it from the very beginning. A horrible accident, a cover-up, and revenge are all weaved into this tale and Ragan did a beautiful job at creating suspense with her words and imagery. I found myself placed in the setting with the character. I got chills and was on the edge of my seat and literally biting my nails at times because I was so anxious. Especially in the last 25% of this book. The speed and suspense were wild and I was there for the journey! I also really loved the creepy holiday vibes at the end of the book. I love Christmastime and I love thrills, this was the perfect combination of both! While I did predict some of the outcomes, I don't think it took anything away from the storytelling because the finale was a shock for sure. This will definitely not be my last T.R. Ragan read!

Thank you NetGalley and Thomas & Mercer for the copy of Such A Beautiful Family. This was my first book by T.R. Ragan and I loved the writing style. The characters were great and Jane was so creepy I couldn’t wait to see what she was going to do next, even though a lot of it was predictable. I thought Nora should have anticipated some of Jane’s shenanigans. Hailey was a typical teen and what she did was annoying but understandable. The stand out was Trevor who was smart and perceptive and was the star of the book for me. The story was pretty simple if you have read lots of thrillers but the writing and the characters made up for it.
