If you want to learn more about yourself and others, this compelling guide to type 3 (out of 9) of the Enneagram is a must read. Authors Liz Carver and Josh Green shed fascinating light on the personality type of the Achiever, Performer, and Motivator. Highly recommended!

Pros: The Enneagram is my favorite personality typing system because of its focus on motivations. I have found it so helpful to understanding family, friends, and coworkers and use it often in leadership positions as part of training. I'm hoping to read each of the books in this series, so I can deepen my understanding of each type. One of my favorite things about this series is the books are very visual--I love the graphics and charts. I appreciate that the authors first wrote a book about discovering one's Enneagram type, which then directs people to know which individual book to read.

I am an Enneagram One, but I relate a lot of the achievement and goal-oriented aspects of Threes. However, I also struggle when volunteering with Threes because of their focus on self promotion and seeking attention. This book helped me understand a Three's inner voice and struggles. The chart about how Threes interact with the other types was especially enlightening!

Cons: This isn't a con but is more a note on something I didn't expect from the description. This book is very much a workbook for Enneagram Threes rather than a book explaining what it means to be an Enneagram Three to all readers.

Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group – Fair Winds Press for the opportunity to read this book!
