This is another in the Detective Josie Quinn series and another great one. I personally think reading the previous books gives you some great insight into Josie’s past and why she behaves the way she does, but the author does a good job of looping in past storylines into the present as to not get confused. I continue to love Noah, and the unique relationship that continues to grow between him and Josie. There are lots of moving parts and the book flies by with pleasure. Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I love the Josie Quinn series. They are quick, action packed books that you can get lost in. Josie is a very strong female character who does not let anyone push her around. The writing style makes you feel like you are in the book. In this story Josie is faced with defending one of her own. A body is found at a fellow officer’s house and the officer is missing. Josie is determined to get to the bottom of the crime. One thing I love about Josie is she wants to find the truth, even is the truth is not what she wants to hear. Josie is delightful to read and an excellent role model.

With 15 books in the series, some of the older ones are being republished. (I didn't even notice when I requested this book that it was a reprint. I saw "Lisa Regan" and "Josie Quinn" and clicked!) It is nice to go back and see how Josie and her teammates have evolved. This is my review from the first time I read the book, slightly revised:
I sure am glad Josie is back as a detective and not the chief of police. This is where she thrives! and it shows in the writing and the stories. It was a bit odd having her in a relationship with Noah Fraley, considering I mentally picture him about 15 years her younger and a bit like Barney Fife. But all that doesn't distract from a good solid mystery that spans a couple decades and across the country. I also liked that it gave Josie some additional law enforcement contacts for possibly future interaction and more exciting mysteries for Josie and readers!

I really like the detective Josie Quinn series. Having recently finished #14 in the sequence, I was excited when I saw this offered on NetGalley,, thinking I had somehow missed the latest book. After reading a few pages, I realized something was out of sync, double checked, and found that this is a reprint in paperback of #4. No matter, I had missed the earlier stories, having only discovered Josie Quinn at #6.
It was a little disarming at first to go back in time especially knowing Josie’s future, but I enjoyed filling in more of her back story, especially the beginning of her relationship with Noah and why she and Gretchen are such good friends and supporters of each other.
Taking place in Central Pennsylvania, this story finds Gretchen, a fellow police detective, under arrest for the murder of a young man her front yard. When she admits she is responsible, Josie refuses to believe her guilt and sets off to prove her innocence.
If you like well written, fast paced police procedurals/thrillers with good character development, and are not familiar with Lisa Regan, I would recommend her. I can’t wait for #15.

Her Final Confession (Detective Josie Quinn #4) by Lisa Regan

Each one of them keeps you on the edge of your seat. If you are looking for a new series, this one is fantastic. You can read the books in order or as stand-alones. Lisa Regan is a sensational author and always delivers a thrilling adventure!

Thank you, NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing, for sharing this exciting book with me. Your kindness is appreciated!

Can't go wrong with Lisa Regan and the Josie Quinn Series!!!! I LOVE this series, great characters, always another murderer to catch. Filled with murder, mayhem, twists/turns, angst, and love.

This series just keeps getting more and more intense! Highly recommend this if you love a good crime novel and good characters that you will fall in love with! How could Gretchen kill someone or did she? And bodies keep appearing....who's behind it all and what is Gretchen hiding? Also enjoying this new cover!

This is book 4 in the Josie Quinn detective series. I have read them all and love this book. I would definitely recommend you start with book 1. They just continue to get better.

This is a reprint of a book i have already read.
If you love a good Crime Fiction series check this out. I would suggest starting with the first book but these could be read as Stand alones if needed,

I have no idea where the title of this book came from, but it was a good read.
Police officer Josie's friend and co-worker is missing and there is a murdered young man in her back yard. Josie has to solve the case. oh, and Josie is also falling in love with a different co-worker.
This was a great installment of the series. It kept me reading up late and my heart raced at the end. There were no ridiculously implausible twists. Recommended.

A body is found in the driveway of a police detective. The detective is nowhere to be found. Josie is convinced there is something else going on while everyone else thinks the detective is guilty. There are all sorts of twists in the book that kept me guessing. It is part of a series but could be read as a stand alone. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC of Her Final Confession by Lisa Regan that I read and reviewed.
This series only gets better as it goes on. Josie Quinn has to be one of my favorite female lead characters in any series that is out in any market of books out there. She is the full package and when you are reading a book in this series you are going to have an excellent story with a kick butt female cop who knows how to get the bad guy and take the reader on one great ride on the way.on
As for this fourth book in the series Josie is trying to help prove
her friend and member of her team, Gretchen, did not kill a young man in cold blood in her driveway even though Gretchen is pleading guilty and going down for murder without a fight. With the help of her boyfriend partner, Noah, Josie will have to dig into Gretchen past and find out the truth to what happened that day in the driveway and what a serial killer is doing in her town.
This is another great story by Lisa Regan and she just makes Josie Quinn better. I loved this book. Noah and Josie work so well together and it was great watching their relationship grow. I can't wait to see where the characters go next.
Needless to say Her Final Confession gets five out of five stars.
