Vivid world-building deeply rooted in African folklore and religion, unique and relatable characters, and mythical creatures that defy western expectations WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT?! Beasts of Prey is an absolute must-read and I cannot wait to continue this trilogy.

Readers will go absolutely nuts over this new novel!
I wished it was the full book because I didn't want it to end so soon.

In this SNEAK PEAK, we are introduced to Koffi, a beastkeeper, and Ekon, a potential Son of the Six. We are only provided three chapters, in addition to the introductory prologue, so I cannot comment on the overall story, but the writing is great, very easy to read, and definitely intriguing!

This was a short sneak peek (only about three chapters), but it was enough to catch my interest in this story! I was introduced to the main characters and it seems like their storylines are pretty separate. The zoo full of magical creatures was interesting and the other plot had some sort of upcoming event that was a bit unclear but I wanted to know more. I would consider checking out this full book based on the preview!
Thanks to NetGalley for this sneak peek ARC.
