I left this final book in the Offspring series alone for a very long time, as despite my like of Bauer as an author, the Offspring books hadn't impressed me. I was hoping that coming to this book fresh, as it were, I would like it. I didn't. Shame. The main series worked for me, but the spinoff didn't. The story rambled and was woolly in description and action. The characters failed to become 3d and thus one's I felt some emotion about their plight etc. Sorry.

Gage is the eighth and final book in the Angelbound Offspring series. I am so sad to see the last of these awesome characters but hopefully, I will get to see them again in future books from the Angelbound world. I had a blast reading Gage as I followed all the characters through battle after battle with demons, ghouls, and other paranormal creatures.

I also enjoyed seeing characters from other books/stories in the Angelbound world. Especially my favorite character, Huntress’s great-grandmother, Myla. I loved seeing everyone fighting monsters together. I really liked seeing Myla fighting with her great-granddaughters and their rhanas.

I enjoyed reading Gage so much that I read it twice, back to back. After reading it the first time and seeing the extra content in the back of the book with the pictures of Gage, Huntress, Axyl, Bastien, Forest, Zag, and Quin I had to read it again with those imagines in my mind.

I always picture each character in my mind as I am reading but never believe that I do them or the author justice and after seeing the pictures of the characters I must say that I was right I do not do them justice at all. Having the pictures of the characters made the story so much better and way more fun.

Ghoul criminals have been stealing ghoul teenagers for months now. The teens are taken to a party and promised the world. After the party, the teens disappear. No one seems to know where the teens are taken or what happens to them but no one probably cares about a runaway. No one will ever miss a runaway as most of them probably have no friends or family or anyone to miss them if they do disappear.

Gage and Huntress have a plan to stop them. All they need is a ghoul teenage runaway. Huntress plans on going undercover as one of the runaways to find out where the teens are being taken and what is happening to them. Can Gage and Huntress stop the ghoul criminals? Can they save the teenagers from the ghoul criminals?

But their plans keep getting interrupted when demons, ghouls, or who knows what comes after them. Someone wants to take Huntress and her sisters. They know that if they can get their hands on these girls their parents will pay dearly to get them back.

Gage like all the books before it in the Angelbound Offspring series is so chocked full of action and some very awesome characters. The descriptions were written so vividly making it so much easier to see it all in my head as it was happening I felt as if I was right there in the middle of all the action. I can’t wait to read more from the Angelbound world.

As always I highly recommend Gage and all the books in the Angelbound world. Grab your copy of Gage today! Be sure and check out all the books in the Angelbound world. Because if you like reading about angels, demons, dragons, ghouls, or any other paranormal creature you will truly love Gage.

Last book in the series and it is just as good as the others! This is #8 in this series but can be read as a standalone. Though I guarantee of you read this you will want to go back and read the others.

Gage is a great wrap up to the “Angelbound: Offspring” series. It’s going to be hard not to give anything away, BUT Christina Bauer warns readers ahead of time that this is not a standalone book. Bauer recommends reading the previous books as many characters make appearances as this is a battle that requires everyone on deck.

Gage is an origin story, but the funny thing is…it’s not Gage’s. It is all about Huntress and where she came from and the battle that needs to be fought for true love and freedom for all glass dragons. This is a most excellent origin tale. Bauer excels in this genre.

Plus, we get to see the entire Offspring gang and then some.

There is lots of action. So much so that our couple battles exhaustion alongside evildoers from every quadrant. The graphics to match the enemies are fantastic.

I really enjoyed Gage. I was thinking that it is too bad that this is the last book when I read the end notes and there is another series! I cannot wait for Dragon Bound, the first in the “Angelbound: Dragon” series.

It was a good ending to an amazing series! I'm sad to see the series go, but excited for the spin-off!

You need look no further. The end of the ride has come and it is one you will remember. The world that CB has built has had much with action, adventure, dragons, mystery, fun, laughs and so much more. If you are a fan of the series you do not want to miss the last installment. Gage gives us more of all the things we have come to love about the world CB built.

The final book in the series. I can't say it is the best book in the series but it didn't disappoint with the coming together of all the pervious characters we have met along the way. This series is definitely aimed at YA, which as an adult can be frustrating at times but i do love the world Christina has built.

I am actually glad she is continuing on writing books in this world and focusing on the glass dragon tribe. If you love great world building or have teenage children this series is highly recommended.

Fantastic ending to a lovely series. Gage and Huntress are great together and it was another fabulous book by Christina! All the faves made an appearance and I can't wait til Christina's next series!

GAGE is the final book in the Angelbound Offspring series, and it brings to a conclusion ALL the stories that have led up to this point. Of course, we finish Huntress and Gage's story, but we are also left with questions unanswered - which leads nicely onto the next series!

I loved how Huntress and Kaps ended up swapping personalities in this one. Huntress goes from obeying the rules to breaking them, whilst Kaps becomes more responsible. I still don't trust Doofus though! Because this was the finale, it was great seeing all of the previous characters again, including those from the original series.

This book is non-stop action and will give you plenty of twists and turns before it's over. I was sad for Huntress' parents but happy they were able to see her one last time.

A great end to the series that I have no hesitation in recommending.

Gage (Book 8, Angelbound Offspring Series) - Christina Bauer

I was given a copy of this book by the publisher in order to provide and honest review.

Christina Bauer is an American author who writes many fantasy stories. Besides the “Angelbound” series she has also written the “Pixieland Diaries” and the “Beholder” series plus many more.

Gage is a dragon shifter and the head of the underground criminal organisation known as L’Griffe. But he is more of a Robin Hood type – yes, he does some criminal type activities but only to protect his crew and any innocents.

Now Gage has found his rhana Huntress. Together they are going to try and slowly restore the glass dragons once more. But as always, a wrench is thrown in the works.

Someone from Huntress’ past is determined to destroy everyone she loves, everyone in the realms to power a magical spire and unless a demonic horde to lay waste.

Now Huntress, Gage, Gage’s crew and everyone they know all team up to bring down the biggest evil that has been faced by any of the Angelbound Offspring yet. Hopefully it will be enough to save them all......

“Gage” is the grand conclusion to the Angelbound Offspring series by Christina Bauer and sees Huntress and Gage face down – well any of the Angelbound Offspring characters we have come to know and love. This story has all the elements you could want as a reader. A nice teaser that draws you in and gets you hooked, then keeps you in its clutches after mysteries begin to unfold and you race through the pages - the twists and turns the characters face; constantly on the edge of your seat hoping they survive. It’s sad to see the series coming to an end yet it’s a beautiful and fitting ending for Huntress and Gage.

Delighted to have another offering from the incredibly talented Christina Bauer in my hands and this book did not disappoint.

This book focuses on both Huntress and her rhana, Gage. We have almost alternating chapters from each of them,,seeing the story unfold through their eyes.

For our couple to survive the challenges before them, travel to the past using four cleverly hidden Aeternum cubes, cubes left by Huntress' parents.

During their visits to the past, both Huntress and Gage are able to see through the web of lies spun by Pasiphae.

This book was a total joy to read, not only for the fast paced action, but also for all the cameo appearances by characters you will have come.to know and love if you have read any of Christina's other books.

Definitely add this to your TBR pile, or better than that, buy the book and read it, you won't regret it!!

It was good to see all of my old friends make an appearance in this final Angelbound Offspring book. Huntress and Gage make a good pair. They are supportive of each other. It was a fun read.

Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for my eARC in exchange for an honest review.

I received this free eARC novel from NetGalley. This is my honest review.

I really enjoyed the storyline and seeing the characters change throughout the story was a great character development. The plot was great and kept my attention. This was a great wrap up to the series!

#8 in the Angelvound Offspring series is about Gage. Be still my heart! Gage is very busy being the law for the dragon shifter mafia, L'Griffe. But there are others who want to upset the balance! Gage and Huntress are great characters. Good story plot! Thanks #netgalley and #MonsterHouseBooks for the eARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine.

Fantastic read. I have been reading books by Christina Bauer since the very first Angelbound, and I was not disappointed with this one. In fact, reading this book made me want to go back to the beginning of the Angelbound Offspring series and reread them. I enjoy how lighthearted and snarky these books are, while also showing strong female characters. I highly recommend this book and basically every book written by Christina Bauer. The reason this book wasn’t given a 5 is because my favorite and #1 will probably always be the original Angelbound with Myla and Lincoln. I enjoyed that many of the characters throughout the series made an appearance, a great ending to a series.

This story follows Huntress and Gage as they fight to protect the remaining glass dragons, along with the rest of the world. No pressure. With rumors of a demon Horde rising, the pair must quickly decipher the true identity of their enemy and how to defeat them. They do this with the help of Gages’ crew, Huntress’ family, and some new characters from the past. This story is a new twist on some Greek mythology. Good read!

Gage is the leader of L’Griffe and this dragon shifter mafia takes care of illegal and legal aspects of dragon shifters on Earth. The other groups of non-humans also have their own gangs. Usually, they stay away from each other, but when the demons create The Horde, the balance of power shifts considerably. Gage knows they must conquer this new threat and, lucky for him, his love interest’s family are fierce warriors. They learn that the leader of The Horde is an old foe long thought dead. Will this group be able to overcome all the obstacles that come their way?

Gage is the eighth and final book in the Angelbound Offspring series. Bauer mentions at the beginning that she didn’t do her usually backstory reminders and that readers should have read the previous books first. I second that thought. This story jumps right in and the characters fight evil and their personal passions in their usual way … which may be confusing for those who start here. I enjoyed the cameo appearances of some of my old favorites and was sad to think this is the last book. I’ve read most of Bauer’s works, though, and who knows where they might pop up in the future.
