I would happily recommend this book to new crocheters. It’s nicely presented and useful for skill building. Burger has dove a great job with her book.

It is super easy and super fun reading and doing the projects. The author clearly stated what to do, with simple projects to do to boost your creativity. Completed with pictures that help you to understand better what to do, this book will motivates you doing more crochet projects.

Super Easy Crochet for Beginners is a great book for anybody wanting to learn to crochet. I have been wanting to learn how to crochet for some time and this book included instructions on choosing materials and tools, along with several beginner projects. The pictures included were helpful in illustrating what the author was trying to explain. It was easy to follow and I'm excited to begin working on my first projects!

Super Easy Crochet for Beginners is an easy to follow guide on how to begin crocheting followed with tips and plenty of projects to start you off. The projects increase in difficulty as you go further through the book but the steps seem easy enough to follow and there's plenty of photographs throughout too. Crocheting is something I want to get back into learning as I began a few years back but then life has taken over. This seems a great book yo get me started again and I've spied one of two projects I want to have a go at within it too.

A truly covetable crochet book. Easy-to-understand instructions and gorgeous patterns all beautifully photographed. Perfect for beginners but experts will find lots to inspire here too.

I want to begin by stating I have been a crocheter for about 15 years now, so I'm not really a beginner and the intended audience for this book. Going in, I wanted to look at it with fresh eyes--I found that there were many parts that I forgot were a struggle when beginning crochet, so the author did a great job in thinking about all the different aspects of crocheting. In general, I would recommend this to a beginner!

I knew some crochet already, and this was still a great guide to have! It breaks down the steps in clear ways! I also really loved that this guide has skill-appropriate guides! Will definitely have to get a physical copy to look at!

In this book, Burger explains various crochet stitches and techniques in a linear fashion, helping the absolute beginner work up to more complex projects.

While I was not an absolute beginner when I went into this book, I had only recently started learning, so I found this to be a helpful resource. The author explains how to do the basic stitches through clear instructions and lots of photographs, with sections about troubleshooting any issues with the piece that may crop up. The author also explains useful things such as how different hook sizes and yarn weights work, as well as how to read patterns and charts.

However, I wished there were more patterns included. There's one per chapter, so that you can practice the stitches and techniques you've just learned, but giving more would have given the reader more kinds of things to practice, and more choice in what they wanted to make. As I wasn't particularly drawn to any make in this book, the only item I ended up making from out of this was a scarf using the staggered shell stitch, having found the stitch in Chapter 8.

This book was very easy to follow along with. The instructions were clear and concise. I enjoyed making these of the projects. They were simple and didn't take a lot of time.

Great guide! It can be hard to get started with crochet so good reference books are a key tool and this one is excellent.

I have crochet for fifty years now and consider myself as intermediate crochet. I alway loving looking at any crochet how to even if it is a beginner book. I love the way each stitch is illustrated and has a project/patter to compliment it. I even found out ther is third way to hold hook!
Highly recommend this book for a beginner.

This book is excellent, it explains all you need from the simplest start to typical error, and at the same time explaining how to make some really fun and useful items. Beginners book often have quite boring projects, in this book you will be able to find several exciting projects. Beautiful pictures, great explanations and inspiring projects!

Overall such a great introduction to knitting! Really liked the descriptions, steps and photos! Great for a beginner or if you've been knitting awhile. Definitely recommend!

I was able to look at an early copy of "Super Easy Crochet for Beginners" by Deborah Burger on NetGalley. I knit, and know the very minimal basics of crocheting a chain, so I was intrigued by this book. Upon review, I think this is a great beginning to crochet book and look forward to completing some of the projects. It has a wonderful number of pictures to help you visualize how to complete the various stitches.

For the beginner, this book neatly outlines the basics of crochet in stages, each stage ending with a project to practice what you've learned. While the book is well-organized and easy to follow, the projects seem a bit outdated--lots of granny squares and unattractive color combinations. If I were choosing between this book and an online video, I'd choose the latter because it would have more visuals.

Years ago I learnt the basics for crocheting but never kept it up and would like to try again. This book looks well thought through and easy to follow. The instructions are clear and accompanied by good images to help. I am looking forward to trying to use this book to refresh my very basic knowledge.

If I manage to master the skills, there are not many extended projects in the book which I am likely to undertake - though this is through personal choice rather than the book being lacking as it offers a wide range of crochet patterns.

If you are a seasoned 'crocheter' this title is not likely to be of much interest but the title makes that clear.

The book is very well written and very easy to follow, instructions are well illustrated and the projects start and very simply one stitch item, and become more difficult as the book progresses. I particularly like the highlighting of each stitch and later incorporating it into a project.
