Another collection of essays from Lauren Graham about acting, Hollywood and personal experiences. This was a fast, light read but if you are looking for more Gilmore Girls content, you won't find much in this one. I still enjoyed it though and would recommend to fans of the actress.
Being a fan of Gilmore Girls and Lauren’s other books, I enjoyed this one. I’m always interested in the real life Lorelei Gilmore!
This second memoir by Lauren Graham was funny and enlightening just like her first. Each chapter is an essay about her life. She will have you laughing and reminiscing about Gilmore Girls all in one book.
Always a pleasure to read a book of essays from Lauren Graham. Lighthearted and funny, these essays are a quick, enjoyable read
This was a fun read and I really think our patrons will enjoy it. I'll be purchasing a couple of copies since Gilmore Girls is still fairly popular with our patrons.
Love Lauren Graham! This was a fun collection of stories on a variety of topics, i.e. bras, dogs, New York, oranges, acting, etc. I could hear her voice on every page.
#netgalleyarc This was a fun, quick read. I’m a fan of the author and enjoyed her short and insightful stories. This isn’t a book I’d purchase for my high school library but it was a great quick beach read.
Another funny and insightful book from Lauren Graham! I am looking forward to recommending it to library patrons.
I have loved Lauren Graham since I was a kid and first watched Evan Almighty, then fell in love with her again watching Gilmore Girls. I loved her first memoir/essay book and had high hopes for this one. I was a little disappointed at the length-less than 200 pages-but the book was written in Lauren Graham's distinctive voice throughout and had a lot a of humor. Some areas were a bit clunky and need some polishing, but I'm hopeful that those areas can be smoothed out before publication given that this is an advanced copy and the publication date isn't until fall.
Overall, good book that I enjoyed reading.
Lauren Graham brings us another essay collection in Have I Told You This Already? As you read her essays, you'll feel like you're her best friend and she's gabbing away with you. It's excellent. If you enjoyed Gilmore Girls or Parenthood, this is a fun one to pick up. And if you haven't heard of Lauren Graham, it's still a fun read. Highly recommended!
I have enjoyed Lauren Graham’s work since watching Gilmore Girls over 20 years ago, This book reads like having a conversation with her—which is definitely a good thing. Definitely worth the read.
As expected, I loved Lauren Graham's "Have I Told You This Already?". I read this book in one day. Reading it felt like spending a cozy evening with an old friend.
