This is a beautiful book about a young girl at the beach who is inspired to show love and worship God as she plays. The rhymes are well paced and follow the established pattern. It's easy and fun to read. I love the musicality of this story. I'm so glad she is not alone at the beach! Parents are seen at a distance, watching over her. With her pet dog, the girl enjoys her day at the beach as only a child can. Gorgeous illustrations allow the reader to be a part of the beach play and worship. Included verses share what the Bible says about worship. Beach + God + worship = great story!

It's a cute book and the singing and music-making element was fun but I wish it didn't rhyme and read more like a lyrical poem. The rhyming was cheesy and not very strong, so it brought down the quality for me. Kids books don't have to rhyme! And the rhymes here felt like they were throwaway lines, they didn't add value to the narrative.

A young girl spends the day at the beach with her family, and pet dog. She makes sand art, dances and praises God. She appreciates all that the beach has to offer. The sing song rhythm is perfect for children at any age.

This is a wonderful book. The illustrations are delightful and will make any reader feel as though they are at the beach. This book teaches readers to appreciate nature and the beautiful gifts of life. The dedication page allows for personalization that children will cherish in the years to come.

Recommended for the whole family to read aloud.
