This book is perfection. I adored the way it handled plus size, bisexual, and sex worker positive representation while still being enduring and Christmas sweet. This combo of authors is an instant must read for me from now on!
I also enjoyed the dual male and female narrators for the characters.

A book that is like a Hallmark movie but with lots and lots of steam... sign me up! This story had ALL of the elements of a romance but with a welcome upgrade and I couldn’t stop listening to it. You have a guy who make pornos, a full-figured, bisexual woman that is a porn star and a bisexual actor who used to be in a boy band — now this is an interesting bunch of characters I liked that these characters had a back story and were more than there outward appearances. I liked that they were each striving for more and were trying to be more than just what people perceived them to be. The best part of the book for me was that end right after Bianca’s cover was blown. The positive messages about physical appearances and sexuality were so fantastic and is a departure from most romances that I've read. I honestly just need more Bianca and Nolan!! 4.5 stars for me! I will be posting a review on pub day!

A mf delight! Funny with a fantastic cast, great romantic leads, and banter, puns, and quips for days. Wise about both family and found family & just a sheer, wide grin enducing, screwball, spicy delight.

Wonderful dual narrators.

*Thank you to the authors for an Audio Copy of this book to review.*

This was so cute! I had a great time with this. I don't think I've read a book quite like it and I also don't really love Christmas-y or holiday romances, but I love Sierra Simone and I was so interested in a lot of the representation that was going to be in this story. So I was willing and eager to give it a listen.

Speaking of the Audio Performances for just a second, I love Joy Nash & Sebastian York and I feel like they brought this story to life in a beautiful way. I was fully engaged in their talent to bring the words to life, and when I don't have a book to follow along with, I really need to audio book to hold my attention well, and they surely did that. Joy Nash particularly made Nolan's dirty talk pop.

Okay, back to the story, I thought this whole scenario was so fun and full of so many possible mix-ups right from the go, it was a perfect storm. The crew being peppered with adult film cast and crew and working on a sugar puff Christmas film for a holier-than-thou network... it was only a matter of time. Add in two leads that have secret long term pining for each other. It was delightful.

As I mentioned, I was excited for the representation in this one and I feel like the authors nailed that. At least for the plus-sized rep for me and while I have never read something by Julie Murphy before this, I know that is a strong suit for Sierra Simone and I always feel "seen" by the way her fat heroines are portrayed. I can't speak to some of the other rep, but will say that it felt very natural and I loved every character that was introduced. I would really like to read about some more of adult film crew.

I loved the chemistry and sweetness between Bea & Nolan and I was swooning for them. Their intimate scenes were so beautiful and I feel like they were just spicy enough to give everyone a little of what they need. I REALLY wanted us to get into the toy chest, but I still had a great time.

I think this book will be wonderful for those of us who love Holiday movies but want them to get a little bit dirtier. Because it has the vibes but add a few chili peppers. I would love to read more from this author pairing again soon.

A Merry Little Meet Cute is a very unique spicy romance novel. It mostly takes place in a Christmas-themed town called Christmas Notch. The two main characters are cast in a Christmas movie and find themselves falling in love in a very short amount of time.

There were a lot of things that I enjoyed about this book like the Christmas setting, the humor, and the representation of different body types. I did find that I wasn't very invested in the storyline or the characters. I'm not quite sure why it didn't enrapture me but I wasn't a fan. This was my first Julie Murphy book but I have read other Sierra Simone novels. The cover is adorable but a little bit deceiving as it is not a cutesy romance novel like it is portrayed.

I listened to this as an audiobook and thought that the narrator did a great job of portraying the different characters. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing for to have a copy to review. I am sure others will enjoy this around Christmas time.

Not your typical holiday read! BUT it was perfection. The vulgarity was outrageous and kept me coming back.

As an audiobook I have to be honest I was not liking the male narrator for Nolan. Fitting for Teddy at the start but for Nolan it was a hard pass for me. I had to push myself hard to get a grasp on Nolan !

The book was great! Ha ha I mean come on the hope channel and porn stars. YES! It was great and it had relatable real characters! I already love the author Julie Murphy but this read was next level! I hope her and Sierra Simone write more together.

The body positive POVs were right on accurate! I just felt comfortable reading this, even with being knee deep in vulgar things! The storyline was fresh and fun. The depth of the characters was just enough not to bore you but enough to make this a devour-able fun read!!! Though I will never look at gingerbread lotion the same! I’m here for books like this.

Will Bee the full bodied porn star make it big in show biz outside closed doors? Can there be love found in porn? Find out in this BOOK.

In short:
Did I like it? YES!
Would I recommend it? Absolutely
Would I read more by these author? Yup

A Merry Little Meet Cute is pure bliss.

Simone and Murphy craft an incredibly sexy Christmas rom-com with all the feels. The commentary in this book is poignant and razor-sharp.

This ain't your typical Christmas romance and I am so elated that it not only improves these narratives but also reinvents them in a major way.

Funny, sexy, and heartfelt...A Merry Little Meet Cute is a romance that you do not want to miss out on.

Well my jaw dropped straight to the floor with this plot. I expected a whimsical hallmark worthy Christmas tale. I ended up with something much more spicier and I’m not mad at it. A+ on the entire story. The fmc was endearing and entertaining. The mmc was honorable and sort of a redeeming bad boy quality. They worked well together. The narrators did splendid. Only thing the male narrator stayed the same voice even when doing other characters which made it difficult to decipher who was in the plot at the time. Side characters were very underdeveloped. Overall though treat to read.

Holly Mistletoe! This is probably my favorite holiday read ever. It's hilarious, sexy, and full of holiday spirit. I'm so interested to learn how these two authors came together to create this holiday romance. I've read books by both authors separately and loved them. The narrators, Joy Nash and Sebastian York did a fabulous job!

Let me start with the dedication because it was too funny not to mention. "To Bob Murphy and Doug Hagen. You've always been like fathers to us. (And we love you, but you probably shouldn't read this one!) Moving on to the book. Bee and Nolan have some amazing chemistry and mutual pining. I love that both of these characters are bi-sexual. I wish I could be like Bee. No, I don't mean I wanna be a porn star. Bee is so confident and comfortable in her skin as a plus sized woman. I want that! Short rant: Society's definition of beauty pisses me off. Just because someone is plus sized doesn't mean they can't be pretty or healthy, also slut shaming is ridiculous.

I absolutely loved how funny this book was. The Christmas themed strip club with strippers named after reindeer was a hilarious touch. Bee's Mary Poppins sex bag had me cackling. I can't wait to see what goes down next in Christmas Notch.

PS: Texas BBQ reigns supreme 😉

Thank you Netgally and Harper Audio for giving the audiobook arc in exchange for a honest review.

This was honestly so adorable (and spicy). Who knew that the queen of wholesome and the queen of spice was just the combo we needed ?! I loved how unapologetic Bee was about her job. She embraced her sexuality in a way that didn’t feel forced but genuinely open, honest and excited. Nolan was a cute lil former bad boy that I feel like 95% of actual famous bad boys are on the inside. I love there connection. It was honest and genuine and didn’t feel forced regardless of the insta love. The cast of side characters was fantastic and I giggled so much while listening to this

A special thanks to the publisher for this ARC copy of the book.

A Merry Little Meet Cute was the perfect mix of spice and holiday cheer. I could have had a little more Christmas sprinkled in but I still really enjoyed this one. Definitely recommend!

Bee Hobbs, aka Bianca Von Honey, is an adult film star darling. When an opportunity to star in a mainstream holiday romance for the wholesome Hope Channel with her former boy band crush presents itself, she decides to take the job. Bee and her producer must keep their porn background hush-hush to avoid creating scandal for the Hope Channel. Behind the scenes, things begin to heat up between Bee and Nolan but they must keep their fling a secret to avoid scrutiny and unnecessary attention.

This book was so much fun! I went into this book blind knowing that many of my friends enjoyed it. Even though holiday books are not my thing, I thought I would take a leap of faith since I love Sierra Simone. I am so glad I checked this one out!

I love books that feature adult film stars. Like in this book, they are often vilified for their career choices and people need to remember that adult film stars are humans with feelings. Although Bee enjoyed her work and was not ashamed of her career, she had to keep it under wraps in some settings to avoid being slut shamed. Despite these challenges, she showed versatility in her acting and ability to be open and willing to try almost anything while filming this holiday movie.

Nolan was devoted to his family and he had a lot riding on the success of this job and potential future bookings. It made me sad that he felt like he needed to keep what was going on with his family a secret from Bee and others at first. The stigma around mental illness created a lot of problems for him and his family and all he wanted to do was to protect his mother and sister.

The sex scenes in this book were steamy, just how I like it! I knew that they wouldn't disappoint, considering Sierra Simone co-authored this book. There was one scene in this book that I think was a nod to Priest (one of my favs by her) that was jaw-droppingly good!

Joy Nash and Sebastian York are two of my favorite audiobook narrators. They did an amazing job with these characters and I couldn't think of a pair that could do any better with this book!

Pick up this book for a fun, sassy, clever, and sexy holiday celebrity romance!

Steam level: 🔥🔥🔥¼
⚠️: fat phobia, slut shaming, mental illness, mention of death of a loved one

Loved this--combined the vibes of Rosie Danaan's The Roommate, Olivia Dade's Spoiler Alert, and...something else I can't remember right now. Maybe Alexis Daria's You Had Me at Hola?

Dual POV narration is quite well done.

Sweet, smart, size-friendly, funny, sexy AND sex-positive...

If ever there was a book that is the perfect example of don’t judge a book by it’s cover, it’s this one!
While it looks cutesy and wholesome, it’s actually a steamy, fun-filled romp and I’m not mad about it! On top of that, the characters were charming and had depth.

I also loved:
Dual POV
Body positive FMC
Ex bad boy with a heart of gold MMC
Celebrity romance in a holiday setting
Phenomenal narrators

Thank you to NetGalley and Harper Audio for this ALC.

4.5 STARS

I really loved this one. It was the perfect holiday novel, but with an introspective look at the treatment of sex workers as well as other topics. I know. I know. It doesn’t seem like that all goes together but it does!

What I loved:
1. Bee is a plus size heroine who is also in adult entertainment. With her move to her starting role in the Hallmark-esque “cleaner” film, she is looking to rebrand. I loved that she loved all parts of herself. She is confident and fun, and I loved that she knew her worth.
2. I enjoyed Nolan, not as much as Bee, but I loved that his sexuality played as much into his character as Bee’s. Also, the bad-boy, ex boy band member was such a great connection between the two.
3. The steam was great. Honestly don’t let this cover fool you. It has all the steam.
4. It’s funny, it’s charming, but I always love when a novel delivers a little bit more than entertainment and this one did. So many good discussions could be fostered with this book and it’s characters, and it made me love it all the more.
5. I really enjoyed the narrators as well.
6. The premise of the whole book was phenomenal!

What I didn’t love:
1. There wasn’t anything major. It wasn’t all consuming, I couldn’t put it down love it, but I still really enjoyed every moment and would definitely recommend for the holiday season.

A fantastic, charming, hilarious and steamy read. I couldn’t get enough of Bee, and I really enjoyed the whole premise. Definitely one to have on your tbr!

“Bee Hobbes (aka Bianca Von Honey) has a successful career as a plus-size adult film star. With a huge following and two supportive moms, Bee couldn’t ask for more. But when Bee’s favorite producer casts her to star in a Christmas movie he’s making for the squeaky-clean Hope Channel, Bee’s career is about to take a more family-friendly direction.”

This is one of those books that shines a light on the fact that I’m way more prudish than I am entirely comfortable.

This story, while way out of my Romantic Comfort Zone, was pretty magical. It actually made me LOL several times. Like, for real.

I’m not much for super-descriptive open door scenes, so I’ll admit to skipping ahead anytime anyone was described as “dripping” or “throbbing”.

That’s a ME problem, though.

You, dear reader, obviously have none of these hang ups, so you’ll love it.

I love that these characters have para-relationships with each other before they meet face to face.

I love that Bee has ZERO hang-ups about her body.

I’m glad that Nolan isn’t as much of a sleaze as you first think.

7/10

Thanks to NetGalley and Harper Audio for this adorable ARC.

A Merry Little Meet Cute is the perfect, sex positive Christmas rom com. It was charming and just spicy enough. Nolan is a former boy band bad boy trying to salvage his career, and Bee is a porn star cast in a last minute role in a ‘wholesome’ Christmas movie. They’ve both admired each other from afar over the years, but it’s electric when they meet on set. This book had all the elements I really enjoy in a romance … banter, great side characters, and chemistry. I would definitely recommend this to most romance readers. I think the only drawback is the insta-love.

Thank you NetGalley and Harper Audio for the audiobook ARC.

This was a great read/listen and completely different from any holiday books I've come across. I thought that the representation was great and think that this definitely would be an amazing book for those looking for an inclusive and steamy book for this holiday season. It had just the right amount of "cheesy" to match the Hallmark movie vibe of the story while still being a spicy romance book. I just personally didn't feel as connected to the chemistry and relationship as I would have liked overall, even though there were some great scenes within the book.

Before beginning this audiobook all I knew about this book was that it had an adorable holiday cover and was co-authored by Sierra Simone. That's all I needed to hear! I expected a steamy (because it's not my first Sierra Simone rodeo!) rom-com, but I didn't expect to love this listening experience as much as I did.

First of all, Joy Nash is one of my favorite audiobook narrators. She was the romance narrator for me that made me fall in love with romance audiobooks. And Sebastian York! This is a dream team. I loved this story, but my ears are even more pleased that I chose to listen over physically reading! I am so happy these gorgeous voices read this story to me.

Holiday romcoms are usually a miss for me. They are frequently "too cute/sweet" and very hallmark-y, which is not my preference in a romance novel. This book was sweet and cute, but had enough depth and interesting layers to not fall into the hallmark category. Also, the characters themselves were interesting since they were either sex workers or infamous for some sex scandal or another. It was just incredibly entertaining and I loved it. My only regret is reading is in September without hot cocoa and snow on the ground. Highly recommend this audiobook. Thanks so much Netgalley and Harper Audio/Avon for this audiobook in exchange for my honest opinion!

This book was such a disappointment. I could not get into them as a couple. It just seemed like they were both fulfilling fantasies before they even got to know each other. There was no connection between the two of them.
