The Lightly Family is still in Tickled Pink, Wisconsin as matriarch Estelle "Gigi" Lightly is forcing her entire clan to save their souls by helping the town.

Social media influencer Tavi is counting down the days until she finally meets Gigi's requirements for soul redemption. This way she can promptly jump on a plane to Costa Rica and get back to the cacao farm that she is trying to restore.

But Gigi is a hard rock to move, so when Tavi is charged to help the town's tourism, she crosses paths with Dylan Wright, reformed delinquent turned town plumber. Dylan is nursing his heart, which is unknowingly broken by his best friend Hannah. She is married to someone else, is now having her husband's baby, and has zero idea that Dylan has been in love with her all this time.

Dylan has decided that working with Tavi might be the key to distracting him from his Hannah problem, but as he starts to peel the layers that is Octavia Lightly, can he keep his feelings at bay?

If you have read the first book in the Tickled Pink series, you know to expect a wild ride with Pippa Grant's quirky small-town characters. And this book delivered.

You will feel a whole lot of things with this read: compassion, heartache, angst, joy, romance. I love the arc of Tavi and Dylan's slow-burn connection. They start as two people who understand each other when no one else in their life really did. They become friends and secret-keepers until they finally acknowledge that simmering tension every time they are in close proximity.

I love how despite their different paths in life, their circumstances have some common ground, the biggest one is living up to other people's expectations and perceptions. Dylan had done some crazy things as a kid, but the town folks in Tickled Pink have -- for the most part -- forgiven him for them. Meanwhile, Tavi successfully lives up to nearly impossible expectations but she rarely gets a break from the constant hustle.

This is the second book in the Tickled Pink series, but it can be read as a standalone. Grant does a great job of providing context for those who are new to the series.

In this second installment of the Tickled Pink series by Pippa Grant, readers get to know Tavi Lightly - the flesh and blood human, not the plastic social media influencer.

Those who read book one in this series, 'The One Who Loves You,' likely recall that Tavi's grandmother had a near-death experience and decided to forcefully move her son and grandchildren to the small town of Tickled Pink. There, the family is tasked with rehabilitating an old school building while they work on their souls as they strive to become better people. (All while their evil grandmother does nothing to improve upon herself. Instead she just lives to torture.)

There is a lot going on behind the veil that Tavi has shrouded herself with, and underneath it all, she really doesn't even need to change. She just needs to get out from her grandmother's thumb. And she's trying. Man, is she trying. Meanwhile, she's also falling for town hottie and local plumber Dylan Wright. After spending his youth making trouble, Dylan is avoiding trouble now. And Tavi? She's trouble.

This book is a slower burn than I typically gravitate toward, and the pacing is a bit slow at times. Dylan fancies himself in love with another woman for a large percentage of the story. Author Pippa Grant writes an excellent villain in Tavi's grandmother - almost too good. She gets under a reader's skin and will drive them insane.

Ultimately though, this is a story about being yourself - not the person the world thinks you are, not the person you used to be, not the person your deranged grandma thinks you should be - but who you are. Everyone is worthy of love. Those are messages I can get behind.

Tavi is a successful social media influencer who wants to be running a cocoa farm in Costa Rica her family doesn’t know about. Unfortunately when her grandmother pulls her trust find unless she lives in tickled pink, WI and does charity work her plans are derailed. She meet Dyan there, a local plumber who is still trying to make up for his younger self and believe ‘the one’ has gotten away from him and has moved one. As these two work more closely together they start to feel more for each other. I enjoyed their journey and it was an enjoyable read.

Rich in Your Love is the second book in the Tickled Pink series. The main characters are a separate couple so you could read it is as a stand alone, but the setting and characters are introduced in the first book so I would recommend reading both The One Who Loves You and Rick in Your Love..

Pippa Grant is one of my favorite rom com authors. I appreciate that she writes with a lot of humor and relatively little relationship drama. This series is especially fun for me because I'm familiar with Wisconsin, which is where the fictional town of Tickled Pink is located.

I received a copy of this book at my request, and the opinions here are my own.

What a sweet, lighthearted read about finding happiness in being your true self!

Tavi Lightly has been through a lot with her family including never feeling good enough. Somehow she becomes an amazing woman with such a big heart. I love when we finally get to to know the real Tavi instead of her social media influencer personality. She's smart and driven and good at building people up.

Dylan was not a nice person in high school but who could blame him? Once you find out more about his upbringing, it makes total sense that he'd rebel. Fast forward to the present and we get to know the real Dylan. He's kind and caring and honest. He takes care of his town and the people he cares about. Dylan is definitely hard on himself about his past mistakes, and doesn't realize how loved he is in Tickled Pink.

These two don't mean to fall in love, but they are so perfect for one another! Dylan falls for the real Tavi and makes her feel beautiful in her own skin. He shows her what real love and friendship is. Tavi falls for Dylan and doesn't care about his past because who hasn't made mistakes? His past made him who he is today and she loves that about him. They show each other that they deserve everything good and are worthy of love.

I received an ARC for an honest review.

4.25⭐
Rich in Your Love returns readers to the kooky small town of Tickled Pink for social media influencer Octavia 'Tavi' Lightly's story.

And what a delightful story it is. As Tavi is nothing like she first appears, and she's certainly not the ditzy, sugar free, soya loving, social media darling. That was portrayed throughout Phoebe and Teague's story.

In fact Tavi loves bacon, ice cream and chocolate and has many other secrets too. The biggest being she is desperate to earn back her trust fund just so she can continue her dream of restoring a cacao farm in Costa Rica. So she can continue making chocolate everyone in the world devours.

But to do that she needs to play by matriarch and grandmother Gigi's rules. Which means suffering in the small town of Tickled Pink with the rest of her dysfunctional family including sister Phoebe and brother Carter.

So to help, pass the time Tavi comes up with a plan to help local plumber Dylan restore his reputation, become a Tik Tok sensation and forget his best friend and first love Hannah who has married and moved to rival small town Deer Drop.

Yet, time spent together soon has Tavi and Dylan realizing they have more in common than they could have ever imagined and catching feelings for each other. Although Tavi doesn't believe she is worth it and Dylan knows better than most that there is no point getting attached.

And with a slow burn, romance and a delightful mix of emotion, heat, humour and sweetness. Rich in Your Love was an enjoyable and engaging read. That I would happily recommend to others.

While this one can be read as a standalone, do yourself a favor and go read Book One from this series, The One Who Loves You…

This book is a continuation of the world of Tickled Pink and all it’s quirky townspeople. After reading this book I am obsessed with both Dylan AND Tavi.

The character development from both main characters was really special. For Dylan it’s a former bad boy past and for Tavi it’s her hiding her true self from her social media persona.
I loved how these two overcame so much and found love with each other. I loved how the couple from the first book made a couple appearances and I love how the town is really starting to accept the Livelys.

This one was really special and it’s going to stay with me for awhile.

Social media influencers have an image to upkeep. Once you build your niche, it’s tough to detour. Tavi Lightly built her platform on vegan living and fitness. A vast departure from her actual behind the scenes life. Having to go home to Tickled Pink in order to receive her inheritance was a small sacrifice to make to fund her cacao farm, but was it really worth the headache and heartache? It’s anyone’s guess. What Tavi didn’t count on was falling for local plumber Dylan Wright. This book was mostly light-hearted with some deeper undertones and was all together very enjoyable. I did not read the first book in the series but did not feel lost in the least.

I received an advance copy of this book at my request and voluntarily left this review.

Whenever someone asks me for a romcom suggestion, I immediately recommend Pippa Grant. She balances humor and spice better than anyone else.

The Tickled Pink series is working towards being my favorite of hers.

Rich In Your Love gives us Tavi and Dylan's story. Dylan is a local plumber trying to show the town he's changed from the troublemaker he was in his younger years. Tavi is a rich influencer who is secretly using her funds to revive a cacao farm and village in Costa Rica.

While trying to please her grandmother by working with Dylan, they fall for each other, both knowing their lives are so different..

This story is very different than others I've read. I couldn't put it down, and I'm really looking forward to seeing more from this sweet little town.

I adore Pippa Grant. Her books are a perfect mix of humor, quirky, heart, and steam. This book is no exception. We are back in Tickled Pink and now focused on Tavi. Tavi is just trying to live her life, her real life. Tavi is truly an example of not everyone is what you see on social media or what you think you see. She has to keep up a persona that her family and others expects of her, all while trying to create a life she really wants. Dylan is the town plumber and trying to make up for mistakes of his youth. Through a series of events Tavi and Dylan start spending more time together. Dylan starts seeing right through Tavi's persona she puts on for everyone and starts to get to know the real Tavi. Together they bring out the best of each other. Their chemistry started as a slow simmer and gradually built to an explosive boil. I love how they both "saw" each other.

Be prepared for some laugh out loud moments, sweet and swoony moments, and moments that will pull at your heartstrings. This weird little town and these quirky characters will leave a smile on your face.

Pippa Grant writes fantastic romantic comedies, and this is no different! If you love an over the top love story, with a robust cast of supporting characters and spicy scenes, don’t skip Rich In Your Love but maybe go back and start with book one in the Tickled Pink series - The One Who Loves You so you start this title with all the hilarious backstory from the series opener.

Rich In Your Love is a stand out novel because both Tavi and Dylan have histories of not being the best versions of themselves, but they’re already working SO hard at redeeming themselves well before Gigi decides it’s needed. These two are amazing main characters because they’ve been doing the work for years, and know they aren’t done yet. They demonstrate how their families of origin can bring out the child within, which feels so real and also like an important reminder for the real world.

Visit Tickled Pink for a deep, yet light-hearted romantic comedy, and stay for the side stories and supporting characters that enrich the experience of the story. Snowshoe baseball in the summer, a cafe run by sisters who only serve the good coffee to the people they like, and secrets galore make what could be a ho hum story a fantastic hang, with bonus points for LGBTQIA+ characters and awareness. Thanks to NetGalley and Montlake Publishing for the Advanced Review Copy. All opinions are my own.

I fell in love–again? Might become a habit with this author.

No instalove here. There may be some attraction, but after an embarrassing initiative from Tavi, neither of them act on it. Tavi probably would try again, if Dylan’s rejection wasn’t so definitive, and if she had many reasons not to attached herself to Tickled Pink. Dylan, on the other hand, suffers from his unrequited love for his female best friend and would barely entertain the idea of being involved with the influencer.

Their lives are so different that they should never collide. But here’s the beauty of the story: Dylan catches a glimpse of Tavi’s real personality, and she intrigues him, while Tavi sees the nice guy Dylan is trying to be after a life of mischief. They become friends because they see a side of the other no one else perceives. And that’s how they slowly fall in love. See? No instalove. And the author shows the shift perfectly by having them considering more and more the other as a person from the opposite sex instead of just a sexless friend.

Tavi has a clear goal right from the beginning of the story, but the way she might succeed evolves with each step she makes into accepting her true self. Same with Dylan, though his only real objective is to move on from his unrequited love. But by spending time with Tavi, he learns to let go of his past and revel in accepting who he is. It’s kind of the theme in this book: discovering and accepting your true self. And they both do it beautifully and together.

The Lightlys shenanigans keep happening, of course. Gigi is her usual hellish self, keeps torturing her family, and brings a new player in the game: Tavi’s longtime rival. Her ultimate goal is still a mystery for me, because it can’t be that she wants to save her soul, or she wouldn’t act like that. We see more of Carter, and he’s almost sympathetic–I can’t wait to read his story. Tavi’s parents, especially her father, are a surprise. It seems that the main characters in the books, Phoebe and now Tavi, aren’t the only ones going down the instrospective route.

Which was, maybe the weak element in the book. Tavi and Dylan keep rehashing their struggles in their respective chapters, and there’s only so many times I can read about Tavi’s cocoa farm or Dylan’s unforgiveness toward his younger self. I almost skimmed those paragraphs. Sure, since they go through a personal and emotional journey, please tell me what’s in their head, I want to know. And sure, those elements beings important parts of their life, they must be at the forefront of their thoughts. That doesn’t mean that you should write the same stuff only with different words.

Tickled Pink is back in force to make you laugh and feel. And with a little steam, I’m sure you won’t say no.

I received an ARC copy of this book from NetGalley. Love Pippa's books. They make you smile & laugh. In this book, Tavi makes Dylan, a plumber a social media sensation. It comes out that Tavi, wants to make chocolate. Tavi follows Dylan around to show people how to unclog drains & stuff. Tavi comes into her own.

“Rich in Your Love” is a fun, sweet and classic Pippa magic and was a great installment to her “Tickled Pink” series. Tavi and Dylan’s story was sweet and I enjoyed it.

Tavi Lightly is the middle child of the family and is a vegan, sugar free social media influencer. Tavi has been using her influence for good but no one really knows the real Tavi. Dylan is the town plumber and is constantly trying to prove he isn’t the town screw up anymore. Tavi’s grandmother has chosen Tavi to help Dylan with his image. But as the two hang out, the two become close and they learn that each other have some secrets.

I loved Tavi right from the beginning and was an instant favorite for me. Her need to help wherever she could was what made her who she was. But the way she felt the need to hide herself and be what people want her to be broke my heart. That will make her relatable to so many people. Dylan was in a similar boat being that he was still living in his small town where he had all of his younger day shenanigans. These two grew close in such a natural way and I loved how they progressed from friends to lovers. I loved all the antics of this small town and can’t wait for the next book.

Another great book in the Tickles Pink series! I love how Dylan and Tavi help each other accept who they are, and that they’re worthy of everything they want. This book is a slow burn, and definitely worth the build up!

Absolutely amazing! I loved all the character depth and build of the story. I was kept engaged and intrigued and needing to turn the page.

This story was interesting, intense, and absolutely HYSTERICAL. I cried a few times, I definitely laughed out loud. I ignored my chores/family to read. I loved every single minute of it.
Tavi Lightly was much more interesting and insightful than I initially thought, after meeting her in the first book. And Dylan is perfectly imperfect for the real Tavi. I loved seeing the pair navigate their obstacles, Gigi, Tavi’s parents, and Dylan’s past.

An endearing story of two people who struggle to see the good in themselves and their self worth. When her grandmother forces Tavi to leave her cacao farm in Costa Rico and come to small town America to save her soul and her trust fund, she has no choice if she wants to keep her home and business. However its going to be a lot harder than she thinks. The was they make her feel and the persona she has to show to the world wear her down. Its all too much. Former bad boy Dylan is something she should not want, but she cannot stay away from him. She has to make him a TikTok star to save her soul but it may just cost her her heart and her sanity and maybe even her home. Its funny, sugary sweet and an easy read.

In a world where influencers only show us what will get them the most views, it was refreshing to have a "peek behind the curtain", as they say. Tavi Lightly is not who she pretends to be, and she isn't sure how to be both the human and the social media influencer. She's been raised to believe her audience only wants one thing, but her heart (and love of chocolate) say something completely different. As plumber Dylan dives into her world, he realizes that world is much more than he could have expected.

Pippa wrote a book of one soul slowly opening to another, and it was wonderfully done. As someone who is starting to unmask and embrace my neurodivergent self, her journey to being true to herself really hit a cord. I loved it and it's a 5-star read for me!

I loved Tavi and Dylan's story. It had so much going for it. There was plenty of humor and drama. But I loved that both of them were trying to be better people and finding ways to move on from their past. They fit so well together. I really enjoyed Tavi and her struggles. And Dylan was just so swoon worthy. This is definitely one I'll reread.
